All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Well, you may have noticed I have a penchant for sad old songs though they usually have a Bluesier or Jazzier beat to them :)
But in this particular case it is all just part of the Depression theme of the post. And Woody Guthrie was one of, if not the, greatest singer/songwriter of it and the Dust Bowl.
As for why the post itself it is sort of a Those Who Fail to Learn from History piece. And in this, as in so many other areas, we are failing to learn from history.
