He did not quite get all the facts right. Firstly Israel was proposed as a Jewish state after WWI and the Arabs started rioting and killing then. Secondly, Israel did not take any Jordanian territory in the 67 war, they took mandate territory occupied by Jordan in 48.And thirdly, there have been Christian states in the area, something to do with the crusades.
