Al-Qaeda In The Arabian Peninsula Seizes Control Of Provincial Capital In Yemen

From the New York Times:
Quadruple suicide bombers on Friday hit a pair of mosques controlled by Shiite rebels in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, unleashing blasts through crowds of worshippers that killed at least 137 people and wounded around 350 others in the deadliest violence to hit the fragile war-torn nation in decades.
A group claiming to be a Yemeni branch of the Islamic State group said it carried out the bombings and warned of an “upcoming flood” of attacks against the rebels, known as Houthis, who have taken over the capital and much of Yemen.
The claim, posted online, could not immediately be independently confirmed and offered no proof of an Islamic State role. If true, Friday’s bombing would be the first major attack by IS supporters in Yemen and an ominous sign that the influence of the group that holds much of Iraq and Syria has spread to this chaotic nation.
The claim was posted on the same web bulletin board where the Islamic State affiliate in Libya claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s deadly attack on a museum in Tunisia.
A significant presence of Islamic State group supporters would add an alarming new element to the turmoil in this fragmenting nation. Yemen is already home to the most powerful branch of the al-Qaida network — which is a rival of IS.
On Friday, al-Qaida militants seized control of a southern provincial capital, al-Houta, in the group’s most dramatic grab of territory by the group in years. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, as the Yemeni branch is called, has also been battling for months against the Houthis in various parts of the country.
But the group issued an official statement denying it carried out Friday’s bombings, pointing to earlier instructions from the terror network’s leader Ayman al-Zawahri not to strike mosques or markets.

Graham Threatens to Cut Funds to UN if Obama Bypasses Congress on Iran Sanctions

From Fox:
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is throwing down the gauntlet, warning the White House he’ll move to cut funding to the United Nations if the administration turns to the international body to lift sanctions on Iran as part of a nuclear deal. Graham made the comments Thursday during an appearance on Fox News’ “On the Record With Greta Van Susteren.”
Graham, a Republican, is chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs. In that role, he says he can block U.S. funding for the United Nations — $654 million is earmarked for 2015 alone.
“Twenty-two percent of the funding for the United Nations comes from the American taxpayers, and I’m in charge of that account,” a defiant Graham told Fox News. He acknowledged he’d also need other lawmakers to sign onto any effort to suspend that funding.

Two men arrested for WATCHING a koran burning video in a pub and sharing it on Facebook

Two men arrested for WATCHING a koran burning video in a pub and sharing it on Facebook
Northumbria Police in Gateshead last week arrested two men after they watched and shared a video on Facebook of a man burning the Koran in the US during the recent 9/11 commemoration at Ground Zero in New York, human rights organisation Civil Liberty has reported.
“The men were drinking in the Bugle pub, Leam Lane, Gateshead, when they were arrested after watching and sharing the videos,” said founder and director of Civil Liberty, Kevin Scott.
Writing on his organisation’s website, Mr Scott said around 30 people staged a protest outside Gateshead police station on Wednesday evening, the 15th of September, following the arrests.
“The group stood outside the doors to the police station with an England flag for about three hours watched by a contingent of uniformed officers. The protesters had gathered at around 8pm after the two men were arrested earlier in the day on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.”
The protest continued until around 11pm when the two arrested men were bailed pending further enquiries, Mr Scott said.
“In a further development, the man who actually burned the Koran in the video on 9/11 in New York has been sacked from his job.
“Derek Fenton, 39, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, had worked for NJ Transit for 11 years as a conductor and train co-ordinator.
“Youtube have now removed all footage of Derek Fenton burning the Koran. Of course, if he had burnt the Stars and Stripes (or any other flag or religious book) the video would still be available.” Mr Scott wrote.

Nigeria: Election Will Determine Sharia or Democracy

With the polls closed in Israel, international election observers now turn their attention to the Nigerian elections on March 28. The choice for the leader of Africa’s most populous country pits Goodluck Jonathan from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against Mohammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The decision by the roughly 73 million registered Nigerian voters could have a profound impact on the future of Africa.
But Western foreign policy observers pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria. Opposition candidate General Buhari wants Sharia law throughoutNigeria. In fact, he wants it everywhere.
“I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to theSharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria,” Mr. Buhari said. “God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of theSharia in the country.”
Agitation? Is this an indication that Mr. Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration.

UN Stalled Declaration of Ebola Emergency for Fear of Interfering with Mecca Pilgrimage

AP: UN Stalled Declaration of Ebola Emergency for Fear of Interfering with Mecca Pilgrimage
Emails obtained by the Associated Press show discussions among the senior administrators of the World Health Organization from as early as June 2014, in which officials refused to yet declare a state of emergency in West Africa over the Ebola outbreak for fear of angering local governments and interfering with the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.
Patient Zero in the current Ebola epidemic, which has to this date claimed at least 10,000 lives, was diagnosed in Guinea and died on December 6, 2013. It was not until February that the virus showed signs of spreading rapidly.
By April, hospitals in the United Kingdom issued an alert to workers to be aware of Ebola symptoms. In June, Doctors Without Borders warned the situation had gotten “out of control.”

France: Courthouse building trashed, files destroyed, building flooded and graffiti about the "prophet" written on walls

The Muslims Are Restless

Courthouse building in France trashed, files destroyed, building flooded and graffiti about the prophet written on walls
…a judicial building has become the target of a sack, carried out in due form. It took place at the Administrative Tribunal of Toulouse, where four floors of magistrates’ and clerks’ offices were literally vandalized, apparently during the weekend of March 8-9.
Monday morning (March 9) around 6:30 a.m., the firemen were called in because of water damage. They were stunned. The building was flooded. Clearly, during the night, all the faucets in the building were deliberately left on. The water flowed for hours, destroying floors and false ceilings…
But the worst was yet to come: files were scattered, some torn apart, photocopiers turned upside down, offices broken into… and above all, on the four floors in the form of graffiti painted with spray paint appeared the same inscriptions:
“The prophet will judge you” and “Warning”. The name of a Muslim magistrate was even written on the walls.

'Blood was running like a river' - 137 killed, 345 injured in suicide attacks on Yemen mosques

What Muslims Are Good At

137 killed, 345 injured in suicide attacks on Yemen mosques
ADEN, Yemen (AP) — A group claiming to be a Yemeni branch of the Islamic State group says it carried out a string of suicide bombings in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, that killed a total of 137 people and injured 345 others.
The group posted an online statement saying that five suicide bombers carried out what it described as a "blessed operation" against the "dens of the Shiites."
The bombers attacked the Badr and al-Hashoosh mosques, located across town from each other, during midday Friday prayers.
The claim, posted in an online statement, could not immediately be independently confirmed and offered no proof of an IS role. It was posted on the same website in which the Islamic State affiliate in Libya claimed responsibility for Wednesday's deadly attack on a museum in Tunisia.
From the Independent:
More than 120 people died and hundreds were injured as four suicide bombers attacked two mosques in Yemen’s capital city.
So many people were killed or injured that hospitals in Sanaa struggled to cope with the emergency and public pleas were made for blood donors to come forward.
Many of the worshippers in the mosques were supporters of the Shia Houthi fighters who control the capital, and responsibility for the carnage was claimed by Isis which regards all Shia as heretics – though it was impossible to immediately verify this and some analysts were sceptical.
The final death toll was uncertain last night, with sources giving varying accounts, at least one putting it at 137 with a further 350 people injured. But the authorities warned that with so many of the wounded suffering critical injuries the toll is sure to rise.
After the blasts the wounded were loaded on the back of pick-up trucks and were taken to hospitals where, as they waited for treatment, they lay side by side with the dead.
Among the dead was, according to Al Jazeera and Houthi-owned television, the imam of the Badr mosque, the prominent Houthi cleric al-Murtada bin Zayd al-Mahatwari.
Two senior Houthi leaders, both members of the Zaidi Shia sect and named as Taha al-Mutawakkil and Khalid Madani, were reported to have been seriously wounded.
“Dozens of people have been injured or killed. We will understand the exact numbers of [the] dead and wounded soon. These are two very central and commonly used mosques,” the editor-in-chief of the Yemen Post newspaper, Hakim Almasmari, told reporters.

RIP A.J. Pero, Twisted Sister Drummer, Dead at 55

From Rolling Stone:
Longtime Twisted Sister drummer A.J. Pero has passed away, the heavy-metal act announced in a statement today. The Associated Press reports that Pero was found unresponsive on a tour bus in Poughkeepsie, New York and subsequently died of an apparent heart attack. He was 55.
"Today, I lost a brother," frontman Dee Snider said in a statement to Rolling Stone. "Anthony Jude Pero passed away. A.J. was the final piece in a band that would become an international sensation and one of the greatest live rock acts to ever hit the stage. His sledgehammer assault on the drums helped drive Twisted Sister and me to greatness and inspired me to rock every single show. My heart breaks knowing I will never feel the power of his beat behind me, or turn to see his face smiling broadly from the sheer joy he got from doing what he loved. I will always remember that smile. R.I.P., my friend."
"The members of Twisted Sister are profoundly saddened to announce the untimely passing of our brother, A.J. Pero," the band wrote on their official website (via Blabbermouth). "The band, crew and most importantly the family of A.J. Pero thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time."
Pero had been touring with a side project, Adrenaline Mob, at the time of his death. He was found on his bus unresponsive, so paramedics rushed him to a hospital but he did not make it, guitarist Jay Jay French told TMZ.
"A.J. Pero was a force, the likes of which I doubt I will ever have the chance to play in front of again," French said. "His drumming was legendary, but his heart, as a human being, was even greater. In our hearts, he will always be the engine that drove the train.

Obama tells Iran majority of Senate and House same as racist genocidal mullahs

Weekly Std:

Obama to Iranians: Hardliners in Both Our Countries ‘Oppose a Diplomatic Resolution’

President Obama uses his Nowruz statement to speak directly to the Iranian people. In doing so, he compares Iranian hardliners to those Americans who are skeptical the president’s deal with Iran will prevent the rogue nation from getting nuclear weapons capability.

"The days and weeks ahead will be critical. Our negotiations have made progress, but gaps remain. And there are people, in both our countries and beyond, who oppose a diplomatic resolution. My message to you—the people of Iran—is that, together, we have to speak up for the future we seek,” says the president.

A veto proof majority in the Senate (67+ out 100) is waiting for the March 31 talks deadline to pass a bill requiring Obama to submit any agreement to Congress for approval, and this past week, 360 of 435 Congressmen and women sent an open letter to Obama warning that any agreement must be submitted to congress, in line with the Constitution.

Lindsay Graham went so far as to warn if Obama went to the UN to avoid approval in Congress, he would move to END AMERICAN UN FUNDING through his committee chairmanship.
What do these republicans and democrats have in comparison to the mullahs?

U.S. military advisers in Iraq are largely dependent on an intelligence and security network linked to Iran

Gertz, Geostrat-Direct:
U.S., Iraq paying price for Iran’s security assistance against ISIL
Iran is increasingly directing the war effort in Iraq against Islamic State of Iraq and Levant fighters.
U.S. military advisers in Iraq are largely dependent on an intelligence and security network linked to Iran, officials said.
IRGC Gen. Qassem Soleiman in Tikrit, Iraq
Most Iraqi forces are Shi’ites who have been joined by elite Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps fighters and trainers.
Thus the U.S. war effort risks being coopted by Iran and positioned as taking sides in sectarian clashes targeting Sunni civilians.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper acknowledged the conflict in a speech on March 2 to the Council on Foreign Relations.
Clapper downplayed the impact of ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations over its nuclear program on conventional operations by ground forces in conflict arenas including Iraq.
"I don’t see that changing, regardless of the outcome of the negotiations," he said.
But Iran’s state media have reported that Secretary of State John Kerry and Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif have discussed both the nuclear issue and the fight against Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.
Other Iranian officials have suggested a linkage between strategic nuclear issues in negotiations with the West and the desire by the West for support against offensives by ISIL.

For the U.S. to rely on security assistance from Iran in Iraq weakens its negotiating posture in opposing strategic weapons developments by Iran, the officials said.

EPA claims all water-Toilets, Showers, and now your friendly local DITCHES

Daily Signal:
“Remember, being jurisdictional doesn’t mean a thing unless you want to pollute or destroy a jurisdictional water,” she (EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy ) added.
Actually, being jurisdictional means a lot and is the very foundation of the statute. Jurisdictional means those waters would be regulated under the Clean Water Act. There’s a reason why everyone from farmers to local governments are concerned about what waters are covered, and it isn’t because they want to pollute or destroy waters. They want to engage in critical activities which, if the proposed rule is finalized, could require them to get costly permits.
Under the proposed rule, the EPA and Corps would deem nearly any type of water to be jurisdictional. For example, the new proposed rule would regulate all ditches, except in narrow circumstances. The rule would apply to tributaries that have ephemeral flow and depressions in land that contain water only when it rains. Further, the rule is so vague that property owners probably should assume a water body is covered under the law, unless it falls under one of the limited exceptions in the rule.
This overreach means that property owners will be required to secure far more permits than ever before. McCarthy makes it sound as if this isn’t a big deal because, after all, according to her, these individuals and businesses just want to pollute.
Right now, I have toilets I have to flush twice - EPA
Right now, I have wood stoves (one of which I am CERTAIN) the EPA hates (and cost me ~$660 this freezing year to heat 2600 square feet in EASTERN MAINE)
Since I live on a lake and have a garden, will I need a PERMIT NOW because I am a polluter?
Congress, I am someone who cares more for the environment than someone looking at gaseous diffusion equations, and brownian motion figures. I am OUTSIDE in it MOST of the year intimately connected to the earth, MY WATER I swim in and pull from my well beneath that lake, and I do NOT recognize the SELF ARROGATED RIGHT the EPA claims to assign fees to garden, heat or GATHER that which occurs naturally HERE, lakeside, EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Congress, either reign these arrogant self appointed, DISTANT and DISCONNECTED DICTATING fools in by legislation, or REPLACE the EPA with another legislatively controlled entity whic can do what the EPA is SHOULD do, PUNISH POLLUTERS when POLLUTION OCCURS.
Schultz plant food washing into a lake with about 50 homes on it is NOT pollution.
This nation is not split along lines of race, or income inequality (alone). Our most significant divide is urban-rural. Take a look at a red-blue map by county.
End THIS EPA and legislate a realistic, controlled, entity. The EPA making up its own rules, ‘legislating for itself’ in an expanding regulation empire is going to become a campaign issue.

As Relations With Israel Plummet To New Low, Obama Cuts Video To Iranian People

So the rumors last month were true: Six thousand centrifuges will continue to spin, which is supposedly a great victory for the U.S. since it would mean — assuming Iran isn’t covertly operating even more centrifuges under the UN’s nose — that Iran would need a solid year to “break out” and refine enough uranium to power a nuclear bomb.
[Six thousand is] less than the 10,000 such machines Tehran now runs, yet substantially more than the 500 to 1,500 that Washington originally wanted as a ceiling.
“Iran endorses nuclear EMP attack on United States,”
Suspected for years of plotting to dismantle the U.S. electric grid, American officials have confirmed that Iranian military brass have endorsed a nuclear electromagnetic pulse explosion that would attack the country’s power system.
American defense experts made the discovery while translating a secret Iranian military handbook, raising new concerns about Tehran’s recent nuclear talks with the administration.
The issue of a nuclear EMP attack was raised in the final hours of this week’s elections in Israel when U.S. authority Peter Vincent Pry penned a column for Arutz Sheva warning of Iran’s threat to free nations.
“Iranian military documents describe such a scenario — including a recently translated Iranian military textbook that endorses nuclear EMP attack against the United States,” he wrote.
A knowledgable source said that the textbook discusses an EMP attack on America in 20 different places.
Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks, who is leading an effort to protect the U.S. electric grid from an EMP attack, has recently made similar claims based on the document translated by military authorities.

Senator Presses for Info on Huma's 'Special Gov't Status'

Yes, Mohammed, I'll leave the information
on the corner in a Brown Paper Bag

Senator Chuck Grassley has sent two letters to the State Department to ask about Huma Abedin's special government status when she was a government employee--and for information on Abedin's email use while working for the government. Abedin is a close aide to Hillary Clinton, and worked for the consulting firm Teneo (under a special government employee status) while working for Clinton.
"I am writing to follow up on inquiries I have been making since June 13, 2013 and August 15, 2013 regarding the State Department’s use of Special Government Employee (SGE) designations, and in particular, what steps the Department took to ensure that Ms. Huma Abedin’s outside employment with a political intelligence and corporate advisory firm did not conflict with her simultaneous employment at the State Department. I thank the Department for its responses to my inquiries made June 13, 2013 and August 15, 2013. However, to date, the Department’s answers have been largely unresponsive," writes Grassley to Secretary of State John Kerry.
By way of example, I have still not received the records relating to communications between the State Department and Ms. Abedin’s other employer, Teneo. Nor has the Department provided records of communications between the State Department and any clients or entities represented by Teneo. The Department has also failed to provide any email communications between Ms. Abedin and Teneo or Teneo’s clients. The State Department’s November 14, 2014 response to my inquiries, stated, “Based on an internal review, the Department has never had any contracts with Teneo.” But that is not responsive to my request, and it does not mean that communications between full-time Department employees, or SGEs, and Teneo, or clients of Teneo, do not exist.

Israel's Shield No More

From Politico:
In the wake of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decisive reelection, the Obama administration is revisiting longtime assumptions about America’s role as a shield for Israel against international pressure.
Angered by Netanyahu’s hard-line platform toward the Palestinians, top Obama officials would not rule out the possibility of a change in American posture at the United Nations, where the U.S. has historically fended off resolutions hostile to Israel.
And despite signals from Israel suggesting that Netanyahu might walk back his rejection, late in the campaign, of a Palestinian state under his watch, Obama officials say they are taking him at his word.
So Obama will take Netanyahu at his word, but he won't take Palestinian leaders at their word that they intend to destroy Israel.

Obama will take Netanyahu at his word, but he won't take Iran's threats to wipe Israel off the map to mean what they say.

Obama hates Israel. Jews have to understand he is no friend.

Mark Levin: Anti-Semitism Reeks From This Administration… The President Is anti-Semitic

Mark Levin: This is important. Eric Holder said that this nation is full of cowards because we won’t have a discussion about race. Well I think this nation needs to have a discussion about what’s going on in this White House and this administration about anti-Semitism. And, this White House, because it’s reaching out to Sharpton, Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR and all these radical nutjobs and groups. Their policies are, it’s not just Netanyahu, they’re willing to throw Israel over the side for the Islamic regime in Tehran. This president’s former relationships – Khalidi, the professor from Columbia now, with Wright, the so-called reverend from Chicago. This president has a lot to answer for and his conduct is contemptible… Mr. Holder, Mr. Obama, let’s have a national discussion about the anti-Semitism that reeks from your administration.
Sean Hannity: Do you think the president is anti-Semitic, Mark?
Mark Levin: I personally do. Yes, I do. Has he demonstrated otherwise? Israel is surrounded. Israel was attacked by Hamas. His State Department puts out these proposterous statements about moral relevancy.

AND THEN THERE'S THIS, from Neo-Neocon:

In mulling over the origins of Obama’s anti-Israel venom, I kept thinking of Edward Said. I had some vague memory that Said had been teaching at Columbia when Obama was there, and that they later were friends or something of the sort. As quick as you can say “Google!,” up came a long list of articles about that very thing. The allegations are that Said was important in shaping Obama’s views of the region:
Prior to his death in 2003, Said was the leading anti-colonial thinker in the United States. Obama studied with Said at Columbia University and the two maintained a relationship over the next two decades. Obama attended a Palestinian fundraiser in Chicago in 1998 in which Said was the featured speaker, and Obama also befriended Said’s protege Rashid Khalidi, who currently occupies the Edward Said chair of Arab Studies at Columbia.
Said wasn’t a mere academic; for a time, he served as a member of the Palestine National Council. In this capacity he worked closely with Yasser Arafat. Said has been photographed throwing rocks at Israel to symbolize his support for armed resistance against the Jewish state; one Jewish magazine dubbed him a “Professor of Terror.”
More here and here. In summary, it is highly likely that Obama’s views on Israel have “evolved” during his administration in much the way that his views on gay marriage have: that is, that he was always considerably anti-Israel and pro-Palestine, but that until now he’s felt he had to dissemble about it until freed from the need to care what the US public thinks.

Swastikas Painted on Jewish Fraternity House at Vanderbilt

Shalom Life:
A Jewish fraternity house at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville has become the victim of a hate crime. Two swastikas were spray-painted in the elevator of the Alpha Epsilon Pi house early Saturday morning. It was discovered following a party that had taken place on the property.
Susan Wente, the university Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, notified students via email after the vandalism was discovered.
The Vanderbilt University Police Department is also investigating the incident as a hate crime.
“We understand the anguish and pain that this hateful symbol causes,” said Wente, “and we stand together to condemn any effort to intimidate or send an unwelcoming message to Jewish members of the Vanderbilt community.”
“While the swastikas were spray-painted at the AEPi house, this inexcusable incident impacts every Jew on campus, and has no place at Vanderbilt,” said Arid Dubin, the executive director of the Vanderbilt Hillel, in the report.

U.S. Muslim Groups Say Gov. Bobby Jindal’s Call To Ban Radical Islamists From Entering America Is “Fearmongering”

From the International Business Times:
Muslim American groups are rejecting Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s suggestion that people espousing radical Islamic views be barred from entering the United States, calling it a move to promote himself for the presidential campaign.
The remarks are only the most recent in a series of misguided attempts to burnish Jindal’s 2016 credentials at the expense of the Muslim community, activists said.
“What he is doing is fearmongering,” said Haris Tarin, the director of the Washington office of the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
“This is another one of those issues where he is using fear to garner votes and the latest in a line of remarks he has made over the past few months to try to seem relevant for the 2016 elections.”
While speaking to a conservative think tank on Monday, Jindal made the suggestion that the government should not permit entry to the U.S. to anyone who would “use the freedoms we give them to undermine the freedoms we grant to everyone.
So in other words we shouldn’t tolerate those who want to come and try to impose some variant of, some version of Shariah law,” he said.
Jindal’s office has not yet responded to a request for further comment on the proposal. Jindal is attempting to exploit a “common fear of Muslims” in the U.S. with an eye toward the elections, said Corey Saylor of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
“Do we want to protect our country from people who want to do us harm? Absolutely. But you look at criminal activity, not thought,” he said.
“It’s an unfortunate reality that some politicians will pick on minorities rather than offer solutions to the economic and real national security issues our country faces.”

Obama must have shares of Sukhoi

This blog has now said for YEARS, that if Obama continues on this path, Israel will not be pressured into suicide by INACTION, but will instead CHANGE ALLIANCES.
Anyone wondering if Putin would like to poach Israel, it’s electronics, intelligence, and possible support for a bunch of airframes?
Weekly Standard:

U.S. Threatens Sanctions Against Israel, Makes Excuses for Iran

The U.S. government might impose sanctions on Israel or allow its greatest ally in the Middle East to be tried in the International Criminal Court, according to Politico. Michael Crowley reports:
Obama officials must now decide whether more international pressure on Israel can help bring a conservative Netanyahu-led government back to the negotiating table with the Palestinians — or whether such pressure would simply provoke a defiant reaction, as some fear.
Obama has other diplomatic options. He could expend less political capital to oppose growing momentum within the European Union to impose sanctions on Israel for its settlement activity.
More provocative to Israel would be any softening of Obama’s opposition to Palestinian efforts to join the International Criminal Court, which the Palestinian Authority will formally join on April 1. Under a law passed by Congress, any Palestinian bid to bring war crimes charges against Israel at the court will automatically sever America’s $400 million in annual aid to the Palestinian Authority, although some experts suggested Obama could find indirect ways to continue some funding — even if only to prevent a dangerous collapse of the Palestinian governing body.
Meanwhile, in other news, the U.S. government is making excuses for Iran’s testing of its nuclear program. Bloomberg reports:
When nuclear monitors said Iran had started testing a single advanced centrifuge last year, some U.S. politicians and analysts jumped on the report as proof the Islamic Republic can’t be trusted.

The Culturist Battle in Ferguson

The U.S. is rightfully nervous about the battle in Ferguson: the shooting of Michael Brown, the retaliatory shooting of two police officers the shooter’s prosecution.  However, it is important that we know that the real battle is between two ways of defining America, because our nation’s fate depends upon which definition prevails.
On one side we have the multicultural narrative.
Michael Brown’s supporters – and I include President Obama and his Administration in this category – see the Ferguson teenager’s death as proof that America is a racist nation that will never give “people of color” and other “historically under-represented minorities” a fair shake.  This narrative paints America as a source of oppression that must be fought.
On the other side, we have the patriotic narrative.
Our traditional patriotic narrative points to America as the New World, where innovation and freedom have led to the greatest expansion of wealth the planet has ever known. Here, with hard work, anyone can achieve their dreams. This narrative teaches us pride in our nation and challenges us to work hard in order to sustain and honor it.
If we continue to push the multicultural narrative, our nation will dissolve in race-based resentment.  If we can revive the patriotic narrative, we will be united, solvent and strong.

Since African-Americans are at the heart of the multicultural narrative, converting them to our narrative is key to winning this life-or-death debate.

Muslims Attack Tunisian Museum, Kill 19

What Muslims Are Good At:

From AP:
TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — Foreign tourists scrambled in panic Wednesday after militants stormed a museum in Tunisia's capital and killed 19 people, "shooting at anything that moved," a witness said.
Two gunmen were slain by security forces following the deadliest attack on civilians in the North African country in 13 years, and the president said the young democracy was embroiled in a war with terror.
The militants, who wore military-style uniforms and wielded assault rifles, burst from a vehicle and began gunning down tourists climbing out of buses at the National Bardo Museum.
The attackers then charged inside to take hostages before being killed in a firefight with security forces. Authorities launched a manhunt for two or three accomplices in the attack.
Prime Minister Habib Essid said the two Tunisian gunmen killed 17 tourists — five from Japan, four from Italy, two from Colombia, two from Spain, and one each from Australia, Poland and France.
The nationality of one dead foreigner was not released. Essid said two Tunisian nationals also were killed by the militants.
At least 44 people were wounded, including tourists from Italy, France, Japan, South Africa, Poland, Belgium and Russia, according to Essid and doctors from Tunis' Charles Nicolle.

The People Perceive the IRS is out of control? DOUBLE DOWN

IRS engaging in repression American style (no torture, no executions, but our investigations will ruin your lives) over your political beliefs?
What? You believe this might be true?
In that case….

IRS may broaden rule to police political nonprofits

The IRS may broaden a looming controversial rule to police political nonprofits to include political parties and political action committees, the IRS chief said Wednesday.
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said the agency may expand a yet-to-be-released rule governing 501(c)(4), “social welfare” groups, to include political groups known as 527s, which focus on elections. It could require them both — as well as other types of tax-exempt groups — to operate under the same definition of “political activity.”
Story Continued Below
“If it’s going to be a fair system, it needs to apply across the board,” Koskinen said when asked by POLITICO if such groups would be included in the new rule. “[I]f we have a set of definitions for 501(c)(4)s, what about everybody else? Can they do more or less [political activity]? And for us as (an) administration, for ease of administration, it makes sense to have this common definition.”
The impact of extending the proposed rule to groups registered under section 527 of the code is unclear, since a majority of these groups that are most active at the federal level are also registered with the Federal Election Commission.

The Right Way for Bibi to Conduct so called ‘2 State’ Negotiations, now

Here’s how Bibi can appear to back down to Obama’s incredible solipsoid ego and make him look like an even BIGGER ass.
Start with the necessity for Right of Return to be abrogated, except for a small number of symbolic returnees to be selected by Israel (for security reasons).
Speak of nothing else, and it will quickly be possible for all to see both that including Right of Return was ALWAYS code for no Israel, and that no leader of the Palestinians can ever give this up and live because the Palestinian Arabs want no Israel more than they want a Palestine.
In the past right of return has always been put to the last item (which killed Wye in 2000) in the hope that baby steps of negotiations and governance by the PLO/PLA would make this last step an d trust more possible.
Poll below is generated by Palestinian sourcing, taken BEFORE Gaza War of 2014
Well since this has been going on as a principle (1973) nothing has changed at all.
The target audience for this Kabuki spectacle is the people of the west, specifically the US.
I believe the Palestinians will NEVER call on this bet, until and unless they are READY.
By concentrating on this, the single item on which negotiations pivot, it will become obvious there is NOTHING to discuss, and that Israel is trying to get past negotiating their own demise in a reasonable manner, and that the PLA/HAMAS is intent ONLY on their death, and that THAT was always the point of any negotiation.
Today, a 2 state solution is as viable a negotiating goal, as is the idea that a non nuclear Iran is possible via talking.
Both ideas are the product of willful self delusion.
Recognizing objective reality is not an evil.

Video: UK Muslim spokesmen explain Islam’s death penalty for apostasy, hilarity ensues

From Jihad Watch:
This BBC program features ex-Muslim Amal Farah of the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain (CEMB) and several Muslim spokesmen discussing Islamic law’s death penalty for apostasy. Farah, despite her affiliation with CEMB, which is often more concerned with smearing and demonizing genuine critics of jihad terror and Islamic supremacism than with actually defending apostates from Islam, the one sane and rational voice in the discussion.
The Muslim spokesmen, by contrast, practice various forms of evasion and deflection, claiming victim status repeatedly. Abdullah al-Andalusi of the ironically named Muslim Debate Initiative is the worst, ascribing Islam’s death penalty for apostasy to “Victorian translations” and claiming that it is only a law in “post-colonial secular states,” and pouting that the BBC is conducting an “Inquisition court.”
Note also how he dodges the question of whether or not he condemns the words of UK imam Haitham al-Haddad, who has defended the death penalty for apostasy. After that, Usama Hasan, author of The Way of the Prophet: A Selection of Hadith comes across as honest and forthright, but in reality, his obfuscation is just more sophisticated than al-Andalusi’s. He claims that the apostasy law is a product of the early Muslim states, never mentioning what the author of a hadith collection should know and undoubtedly does know: that according to a hadith,
Muhammad said: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). This distinction is important, because if the death penalty for apostasy comes from the early Muslim states, it can be changed, but if it comes from Muhammad, the supreme example of conduct for Muslims (cf. Qur’an 33:21), it can’t.
Finally there is Mohammed Shafiq of the Ramadhan Foundation, who claims that “we believe in religious freedom. People are free to leave Islam.” Then he is exposed as having branded as a “defamer of the prophet” the professional moderate Maajid Nawaz for tweeting a Muhammad cartoon — a term that carries the death penalty in Pakistan. He backpedals here, while insisting that he was right to “defend” Muhammad.
The yawning absence here is that of a Muslim voice who will simply acknowledge that Islam has a death penalty for apostasy and say that it has to be reconsidered and reformed. There are no such voices. Instead, it’s the same as always: claims of victimization, deflection, blaming of the Infidels, claims of hatred for Muslims — the usual responses we have seen thousands of times from Muslims in response to critics of jihad terror.

Almost all of the 436 mosques in the Central African Republic have been destroyed by months of vicious fighting between Christians and Muslims, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said Tuesday, calling the devastation “kind of crazy, chilling.”
Samantha Power spoke to reporters after a Security Council visit last week to the country. She expressed concern about an upcoming possible security vacuum as European Union and French forces pull out and a U.N. peacekeeping force is still not at full strength.
At least 5,000 people have been killed since Central African Republic exploded into unprecedented sectarian violence in December 2013. Nearly 1 million of the Texas-sized country’s 4.5 million residents have been displaced. Many of those who have fled are Muslim.
Power said 417 of the country’s mosques have been destroyed. She visited the one remaining Muslim neighborhood in the capital, Bangui, and described the residents as “a terrified population.”
It's not reported here, but I think it goes without saying these attacks by Christians are in retaliation for ongoing Jihadist attacks against Christians.

Cringe! Obama snubs Ireland prime minister’s handshake in mortifying moment

From BizPacReview:
Ireland Prime Minister Enda Kenny visited President Obama at the White House for St. Patrick’s Day only to be embarrassed by what appeared to be an epic snub.
As cameras snapped, Obama turned away from the Taoiseach and left him hanging during a clear attempt at a handshake.
I don't know. Watch the video. I can't figure out whether this is a snub, or if Obama is just being socially inept. It certainly is a gaffe of some sort, whether maliciously intended or not.

A bigger victory than previously thought

More election results are in, and it turns out the Likud won about 30 seats, while Labor went down to 24. It's a lot more significant than what it appeared earlier.

And it also proves the public didn't buy the lies of the MSM, which relentlessly sought to tarnish Netanyahu and the Likud as badly as they could, on even the most petty issues.

As for the Haredi parties, they did not have a good evening, and it serves them right, what with their socialist platforms, and Aryeh Deri pushing a doomsayer's narrative. I just think it's a shame if Yachad was unable to get into the Knesset and possibly hinder them more. But for now, Shas has been given a defeat it deserves for all the harm they've caused Israel with their approaches to business.

Another reason for the victory of the right last night was because religious Zionism rallied to the cause (via The Algemeiner). That's also a good thing.

Ayatollah's Top Aid to the Revolutionary Guard Quds Force Says, "Banner of Islam Will Fly Over The White House"

I think it might already fly over the White House, considering THESE ARE OBAMA'S PEACE PARTNERS:
A top special operations aide to Iran’s leader says his troops are in a global war that will one day bring “the banner of Islam over the White House.”
Ali Shirazi is the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s representative on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force, the overseas operations branch that trained Iraqi Shiites to kill American troops and is active throughout the Middle East.
The Middle East Media Research Institute said Mr. Shirazi on Feb. 26 spoke at a ceremony attended by the families of Iranian “martyrs” who died fighting overseas.
He listed the countries in which Iran’s Shiite Islamic revolution has spread, including Nigeria, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Yemen.
Then he said, “We shall not rest until we raise the flag of Islam over the White House,” according to MEMRI, whose analysts in Washington monitor Islamic extremists.
“Today, in every country we look at worldwide, we see that the love of martyrdom is spreading like wildfire every day,” Mr. Shirazi said.
