Mass shooting in Orlando, Florida gay nightclub Pulse, "the hottest gay club in Orlando."
Approximately 20 dead, 42 injured.
It was "Latin night" at the club.
Shooter is dead. He had an explosive device on his body. Shooter not from the Orlando area.
FBI has stated this is a terrorist attack.

-officer was at club at time, shot at person, who went back in club, hostage situation.
-decision made to go in at 5 am. Had rifle and handgun. Had device on him.
-Multiple people dead inside. At least 42 people transported to hospital.
-100 of Orlando personnel engaged in covering this incident. FBI, other agencies involved.
-Classified as ‘terror incident’, not sure if ‘lone wolf’ or has any associates
-nine officers involved in shooting of suspect, one officer slightly injured, kevlar helmet saved his life.
-maybe 20 estimated dead, at least 30 saved in rescue.
– question asked tie into Islamic ideology, response ‘indications he may have had leanings toward that ideology’.
– ‘some devices found’, unknown if they are real or not. Appears he was organized and well-prepared. He is not from this area.

Interesting information is coming out about the murder Christina Grimmie, which happened at another Orlando, Florida nightclub just the night before.
Apparently she was an unapologetic Christian.
Her murderer's "insane rantings" were scrubbed from the internet before he was publicly identified. Now MSM is making no mention of her religion and stating the killer had scant on-line presence.
Police are "looking for motive". Right. He went to the show specifically to murder her.-------

FBI is saying that the shooter may have made terrorist threats in the past but won't say that where these allegations are coming from.
Also, the shooter was born of parents from Afghanistan. [unconfirmed]

Omar Mir Seddique Mateen has been named as the gunman who killed as many as 20 people and wounded 40 others at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, CBS News reports.---------
He was later killed by police after taking hostages at the LGBT club.
Mateen, 29, is a U.S. citizen from Port St. Lucie, Florida, according to CBS News. He has ties to radical Islamic ideology, CBS reports.
Port St. Lucie is about 125 miles away from Orlando.

Homeland Security said Omar had been to Afghanistan where he had weapons training.
So the administration knew him, knew he is a trained terrorist and let him be.
