All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Josh Earnest, When Asked If We're Letting In Muslim Immigrants Without Enough Scrutiny: "We're in a Narrative Fight with ISIL"
A narrative fight? It's not a narrative if your body is struck by shrapnel.
On the news just now -- a news conference on the part of the NYPD -- thr mouthpiece said something like, "Just because if it a terrifying act that doesn't mean it's terrorism."
Yes, I understand that statement.
But in the context of the events of the last two days, I see all the blabbing as attempts to promote the narrative that Islam means peace AND that all these Muslim immigrants and their descendants couldn't possibly pose a threat to our way of life.
Hell, they have ALREADY drastically changed our way of life! And clearly not for the better. Think back to 16 years ago.
"Changing the narrative...through semantics?" I do not understand why that's a change in narrative. We've been aware of these lone wolves, nuts, loose cannons, or morons, who need to be taken into account just as the big attacks.
