All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Pope urges “sincere dialogue” between Christians and Muslims as he meets Nice jihad victims
Last week I attended a presentation by Robert Spencer. He explained the radical change in viewing Islam by the Catholic Church after Vatican II. Until then, a lot had been written about the lack of theological legitimacy in Islam. But after Vatican II everything changed. It would be interesting to find out who and what was behind that radical switch.
There was no change in Islam, so why change the position of the Church, accepting and legitimizing Islam's view of Jesus as a prophet and Ishmael as the chosen son?
Well ... He attacked the Kirshners, and we all made the wrong assumptions. He professed not to have Liberation Theology sympathies, but the truth is he is one of them. The only positive thing is that though treacherous, I believe his feelings are genuine. He comes from a Peronist family, and that is some kind of gene you inherit just like the color of your eyes. He has all his life worked with the poor, living the life he preaches, working in the "villas miseria," the "favelas" of Argentina.
Maybe Nico can give us more insight on this. I've not been living in Argentina for several decades now. People were very impressed and proud when he was elected. Not any more. At the beginning, when he was receiving Cristina Kirshner so often, we thought he was trying to calm down the waters, afraid of a bloody insurgency. But the truth is he was visited by and was photographed with every Argentine thug who visited Rome, but he did not have the time to receive the mother of one of the victims of violence.
I'm afraid he was elected because he had a role to play, and he is doing it brilliantly.
I don't know if you are familiar with St. Malachy's prophesies, according to which, this is the last pope. And he sure acts like the one.
Also, I recently found out that there was a reason Jesuits were never popes. Members of the order are not allowed to become popes. Though a Catholic order, they are to be a parallel order, and their superior is a "General," known as the Black Pope.
All these world crisis are doing a lot of good to increase my knowledge ...
So, Pope Francis is a Jesuit, and Jesuits were not allowed to be Pope prior to his election?
I did not know that.
I am familiar with the St. Malachy prophesies.
I don't know how long you have been reading IBA, but for a long time, I posted a photo of Francis along with any and all stories about him - which depicted a scene where Francis was sitting in his papal chair outdoors and a high wind came along and blew his robe up into his face, so it looked as if he was covered with a death shroud.
I would caption that photo with a quote from Francis which said, "My time will not be long."
He actually said that.
I do believe it is likely that Rome will fall in the next few years. Sometimes i think I am JUST being superstitious. But ISIS and the Muslims in general are overrunning Europe and they have stated the conquest of Rome as one of their goals.
weak church body- weak Christians over all- spine less Christian leaders--rome will not be the only place that will fall-- Dearborn MI CA Virginia I could name more - but the list is long C-CS
I know about the St. Malachy prophesies. Not much, but a little bit.
Did Pope Benedict express something about the next Pope after him would be the last Pope? A Roman Catholic friend told me that.
Maybe Pope Francis is sincere about his beliefs. But being sincere doesn't mean that he is on the right side in this war declared by the sons of allah -- allah (pagan god).
The Word does not teach that we need to sit down and have "sincere" dialogue with Baal.

What is wrong with this Pope?
ReplyDeleteWere there any hints that he'd be like this before he rose to the Papacy?

Great point.
ReplyDeletePasto,
ReplyDeleteI have strong theological convictions but rarely express them on the web.
That said, I believe that it should be important to Christians not to compromise with pagan religions.
AOW, if Pope Benedict said that, he was quoting St. Malachy; I don't think that would be his own belief ...
ReplyDeleteAs for Bergoglio, he is definitely on the wrong side of history, just like the tenant in the WH.
