A few days after the 9/11 atrocities in New York and Washington, Bush unveiled his vision for the establishment of a Muslim-enemy state in Israel; in keeping with a promise he made late August 2001 to Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah. Bush told the American people many untruths about Islam, as did Governor Perry, post 9/11.

Perry wrote: "I ask that all Texans be mindful that the attacks on New York City and Washington are not the work of the Islamic faithful, but the work of terrorists – of fanatics – who have hijacked the name of religion for their campaign of hatred.....Like most of the world’s major religions, the Islamic faith preaches peace, love and tolerance. Indeed, terrorism is the antithesis of the basic tenet to which the one billion Islamic followers all over the world adhere."

Does Governor Perry subscribe to these same views today, ten years after the attacks?

Former President Bush, like Perry, is a self-professed Christian believer. We should hold committed Christian politicians to a high moral standard, especially on national security. Bush and his family have enjoyed lucrative financial ties with the Saudis; the Carlyle Group, etc.

I think these issues are worth exploring. For me, Obama has been a nightmare. I want him removed from office, November 2012.

Republicans who have ties to Grover Norquist, even for tax-related purposes, should know better. They should educate themselves on Norquist and the threat he poses to this nation.steve kleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01909283816016502418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19209018.post-20455809002956754232011-08-22T23:32:56.800+01:002011-08-22T23:32:56.800+01:00Hmm.
