UPDATED - Iran Captures U.S. Owned Cargo Ship - Take 34 U.S. Sailors Prisoner

From Reuters:

Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television said an Iranian "force" seized a U.S. cargo ship in the Gulf on Tuesday and directed it to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas. 

The channel said the force had "opened fire" on the U.S. ship, which had 34 U.S. sailors aboard. It gave no further details. 

The U.S. Fifth Fleet in the Gulf Arab kingdom of Bahrain had no immediate comment on the report.

Egypt Pursuing Criminal Charges Against Obama and Hilary For Aiding Muslim Brotherhood?

Is there any truth to this?

President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took great care of the Muslim Brotherhood while the terrorist group was briefly in charge of Egypt following the Arab Spring. 

Though the group is no longer in power, as they were ousted by the Egyptian military, Egypt hasn’t forgotten the aid and comfort Obama provided the terrorist group during their short reign. Egypt has officially charged both Obama and Clinton with conspiring with the Muslim Brotherhood. 

These serious charges aren’t a stretch, as Obama has been seen protecting the group in various ways, including placing them on a “hands off” list to allow entrance into the United States and even an invite into his own administration. 

While the group controlled Egypt, Obama made sure that they had plenty of weapons, including tanks, light and heavy arms and even planes — to the tune of billions of dollars. 

The Muslim Brotherhood is all about implementing Shariah law in Western countries, and the United States is no exception. They wouldn’t hesitate to harm or kill any Christian or Jew who aren’t willing to accept or share their radical faith. We’ve already seen several examples of Shariah spreading to the West — and it’s only getting worse. 

Egyption lawmakers charged Obama and Clinton in two separate complaints with the conspiracy charge. For the first complaint, Obama was officially named as “an accessory to crimes committed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.” 

The charge is serious, with specific details about his accessory role, that said he, “cooperated, incited, and assisted the armed elements of the Muslim Brotherhood in the commission of crimes.” 

The other charge, against Clinton, accuses her of working with Naglaa Mahmood, the wife of the ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Morsi, in an attempt to overthrow General Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, the current leader of Egypt (H/T Western Journalism). 

Mahmood has since admitted that she’s worked closely with the Clintons, dating back to the 1980s — including numerous phone calls between the two since then, hundreds of which she has recorded. 

Perhaps the most serious charge against the two involves their attempted bribe to the tune of $8 billion which was an attempt to sway the Brotherhood to open up part of the Sinai Peninsula to Hamas groups to make it easier to attack Israel.

BLITHELY IGNORING his own past warnings, President Obama is wading ever deeper into a campaign and politics quagmire filled with potential hazard for his second term. He ought to come to his senses. If he doesn’t, it won’t be easy to clean this muck off his shoes later on.

The president’s team has formed Organizing for Action, a group intended to advance his priorities using the potent grass-roots technology and troops from his winning reelection campaign. According to a summary prepared for donors and reported by The Post’s Tom Hamburger, this includes 2.2 million volunteers, 33 million Facebook friends, 22 million Twitter followers and 17 million e-mail subscribers. We see nothing wrong with that.

But how the Obama people are going about it stinks. They have registered the group as a 501(c)4 organization, under a section of the Internal Revenue Code that provides tax-exempt status for “social welfare” organizations, a broad category that was originally envisioned for civic leagues and the like but which has become a favored dark alley for political operators. Such groups are not required to publicly disclose donors or amounts of contributions, as they would be if they operated under the rules of the Federal Elections Commission. As “social welfare” groups, they must pledge that their work is not “primarily” electoral politics, but that has been left ill-defined by tax authorities. Some electoral and political activity is allowed.

These “social welfare” groups seemed to blossom in the last election cycle, with Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS at the forefront. Big money given in secret is a corrupting influence on our politics. But it is even more worrisome for a sitting president to be fielding such a group. It seems to be an open invitation to donors who want access and influence on policy decisions.

Judging by recent reports, Organizing for Action should be renamed Paying for Access. The Obama team has been talking about raising half the group’s money through $500,000 donations from the president’s top supporters. They will apparently be offered a spot on an advisory board with the privilege of attending quarterly meetings with the president. The White House has confirmed that while the president and his aides won’t directly raise money for the group, they will appear at its events. That will give big donors the chance to ask Mr. Obama about a pet project or appointment, behavior that has become all too common in this town and carries more than a whiff of influence-peddling.

Moreover, Mr. Obama’s team says that donations will not be listed precisely; rather, they will be listed but rather “in ranges.” This affords the donors a useful veil.

The president ought to resist the sweet perfume of this money and grab the smelling salts. He was the one who a few years ago warned us of “a new stampede of special-interest money in our politics.” Now Mr. Obama seems to be leading the stampede.

Barack Obama's "America" Is For Special Interest Groups Only, White Men Need Not Apply

The President of "America" does not care about citizens in general, and he specifically does not particularly care for white people. 

He is a racist. He is now actively ostracizing an entire group of people (and a very large group of people at that) from the country he was elected to represent. 

Words fail me at this point. I will have more to say later.

Fresh off his reelection, President Barack Obama is asking his supporters to complete a survey that asks the people being polled to check off which “constituency groups” they identify with – there are 22 groups listed but not one for “whites” or “men.” 

The post-election survey, distributed through www.barackobama.com to “take this organization forward,” includes the question, “Which constituency groups do you identify yourself with? Select all that apply.” It then lists 22 groups. 

But whites and men are not on the list – women are, as are African Americans, Arab-Americans, Latinos and LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender). 

Other “constituency groups” include “Educators,” “Environmentalists,” “Labor,” “Students,” “People with disabilities,” and “Youth.”

The Romney campaign has been goading Obama on the issue, printing ‘Are you better off?’ signs and stickers and making it their main line of attack during the Democratic convention.

Stephen Moore, Sr. Economics Writer for the Wall Street Journal, told America’s Newsroom on Wednesday that the Obama Administration is spending over a million dollars for each green job.

Barack Obama calls this is a success.

It’s actually worse than that.
The cost of each job produced by stimulus cash is closer to $1.63 million.
CNS News reported:

The Obama administration distributed $9 billion in economic “stimulus” funds to solar and wind projects in 2009-11 that created, as the end result, 910 “direct” jobs — annual operation and maintenance positions — meaning that it cost about $9.8 million to establish each of those long-term jobs.

At the same time, those green energy projects also created, in the end, about 4,600 “indirect” jobs – positions indirectly supported by the annual operation and maintenance jobs — which means they cost about $1.9 million each ($9 billion divided by 4,600).

Combined (910 + 4,600 = 5,510), the direct and indirect jobs cost, on average, about $1.63 million each to produce.

Yesterday, we commented on the news that President Barack Obama defended Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's closest adviser, Huma Abedin, at the White House Iftar dinner on August 10th.

What we didn't know is that Huma was seated next to the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Mohamed Magid. The two seemed to be engaged in some friendly conversation and quite comfortable with one another. This is the same ISNA that was not only listed as a Muslim Brotherhood front group that seeks the overthrow of the U.S. Government from within, but also an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial. A 1991 document, penned by a Muslim Brotherhood leader identified the ISNA as a member group.

Here is the exact quote from that document that is perhaps the most alarming:

The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.

In light of the firestorm surrounding the issue of Huma's background...

• Why would the White House have her seated next to the leader of a group that is part of the concerns raised by Reps. Bachmann, Gohmert, Franks, Westmoreland, and Rooney?
• Why would the president of a Muslim Brotherhood group in America be invited to the White House (responding that it's been going on for years is no excuse)?
• How well does Huma know Magid?
• Does Huma know that Magid leads a Muslim Brotherhood group?

We have entered some extremely surreal territory.

Magid was, in fact, named in one of the letters sent by Bachmann, et. al. to various Inspectors General. In particular, the letter sent to the Acting IG for the Department of Defense said, in part, the following:

...the Defense Department - among other federal agencies - has used a liaison with the Muslim-American community named Mohamed Magid. Imam Magid is the president of the largest Muslim Brotherhood front in America, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). In this regard, we note that the "Supreme Guid" of the international Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammed Badie, in September 2010, openly called for jihad by all "the Arab and Muslim peoples" against the United States.

As recently as February 2012, Department officials met with Imam Magid to apologize for the inadvertent burning of Qurans in Afghanistan.

Yesterday, I watched a bit of live coverage, and the view was a longer shot showing him from head to toe. Then, on the closeups, every bone in his face showed, and his complexion appeared jaundiced. Perhaps the jaundiced appearance was due to the lighting, but I don't think so.

Records Show Obama White House Told GSA To “Stand-Down” And Not Arrest Occupy Protesters

   

Documents obtained by Judicial Watch confirm that somebody in the White House told officials with the General Services Administration (GSA) to “stand down” and not arrest Occupy Portland protestors who may have broken the law last year.

Former GSA Public Buildings Service Commissioner Robert Peck told a senior Department of Homeland Security official that the federal housekeeping agency had been instructed by the Obama White House to go easy on the Occupy protestors.

In a Nov. 6, 2011, DHS/National Protection and Programs Directorate Chief of Staff Caitlin Durkovich asked GSA’s Peck if it was true that his agency had asked Federal Protective Service officials not to take action against the Occupy Portland protestors.

“Yes, that is our position,” Peck responded. “It’s been vetted with our Administrator and Michael Robertson, our chief of staff, and we have communicated with the WH [White House], which has afforded us the discretion to fashion our approach to Occupy issues…The arrests last week were carried out despite our request that the protesters [sic] be allowed to remain and to camp overnight…”

Vincent Grandil, a tax lawyer in Paris, said many of his wealthy clients were asking him if they should bother to remain in France.

President François Hollande is vowing to impose a 75 percent tax on the portion of anyone’s income above a million euros ($1.24 million) a year. “Should I be preparing to leave the country?” the executive asked Mr. Grandil.The lawyer’s counsel: Wait and see. For now, at least. 

“We’re getting a lot of calls from high earners who are asking whether they should get out of France,” said Mr. Grandil, a partner at Altexis, which specializes in tax matters for corporations and the wealthy. 

“Even young, dynamic people pulling in 200,000 euros are wondering whether to remain in a country where making money is not considered a good thing.”

For God's Sake!

Saw this over at Breitbart, citing New York Magazine, and burst into the laugh of the lunatic:

Mitt Romney’s plan of blatantly lying about President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech is clearly drawing blood. But what makes the attack work so well is not so much the lie itself but the broader subtext of it....

The key thing is that Obama is angry, and he’s talking not in his normal voice but in a “black dialect.” This [meaning, criticizing Obama's you-didn't-build-that remark] strikes at the core of Obama’s entire political identity: a soft-spoken, reasonable African-American with a Kansas accent. From the moment he stepped onto the national stage, Obama’s deepest political fear was being seen as a “traditional” black politician, one who was demanding redistribution from white America on behalf of his fellow African-Americans....

I can't take much more of this crap.

In my view, we are not far away from this: "You MUST be a racist if you didn't vote for Barack Hussein Obama."
