Parent's Attorney Threatens Lawsuit Against Wellesley MA School District Over Mosque Trip
BREAKING NEWS: WHDH-TV in Boston is reporting that the attorney for a parent whose child was part of the now notorious Islamic Society of Boston mega-mosque field trip last May is considering a class action lawsuit.
According to the first reports, the lawyer is threatening to file the class action suit against the Wellesley School District for taking students to a mosque last May, where a mother recorded footage of sixth-grade boys taking part in a prayer service. The field trip was to the Islamic Society of Boston Community Center in the Roxbury section of Boston.
According to the Boston Globe, the parent's lawyer may sue unless administrators agree to not offer any other field trips to places of worship, which the lawyer says violates students' First Amendment rights.
