Fatah Threatens Israelis on Facebook: “Leave Immediately”

On one of its official Facebook pages the Fatah movement, which is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, yesterday posted a warning to Israelis. A sign showed an assault rifle and a map of “Palestine” that included both PA areas and all of Israel. In Arabic, Hebrew, and English it said: “Warning. This is a land of a Palestinian state and the occupation to leave immediately” (English original).

Internationally, Abbas continuously affirms the Palestinians’ desire for a two-state solution and a Palestinian state on the 1967-borders. However, that statement is not reflected in this poster, nor in many other statements and messages to the Palestinian people.

PA tries to forbid Arabs from selling land to Jews

The PLO/Fatah is back to their old ways of persecution of their own community again:

The Palestinian Authority's Preventive Security Service, cooperating with the PA's general intelligence service, recently undertook intensive activities to prevent the sale of land by Palestinians to Jews in east Jersualem, Ynet discovered.

In recent months, the PA investigated several real estate agents suspected of selling land in the capital to Jews, even resulting in arrests of some of the agents. PA sources said that the sales in question involved a large-scale amount of lands and properties.

Among the arrested real estate agents are those holding an Israeli ID card and those holding Palestinian Authority papers. They were also transferred to the office of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas after the investigation.

PA sources reported that, while in Abbas' office, a senior official of the 'Supervision Committee', the PA body responsible for investigation internal corruption, became involved and brought about the close of the investigation.

One source said that the official, whose actions led to the release of the arrested real estate agents, was motivated to close the cases following by pressure from Israel.

Arabs have the right to sell property to Jews if they want. The real estate agents and owners are going to need protection now if they're to sell safely. And the police are going to need to make sure that these Fatah agents are not allowed within Jerusalem's boundaries.

For International Woman's Day, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice convened eight women to be honored for the 2008 Secretary of State’s Awards for International Women of Courage ceremony. Of those eight women, oddly enough six were Muslim, as if Muslim women had cornered the market, making the "International" ceremony a rather parochial pat on the back for Muslims. (In 2007 it was 7 out of 10.)

Of these six Muslim women, one has a rather interesting biography. Nibal Thawabteh. Undersecretary Dobriansky stated that she founded a newspaper, he oddly enough failed to mention its name. The newspaper's name is Al-Hal and it is produced at Bir Zeit University's media center where Nibal Thawabteh is also a lecturer.

Al-Hal is actually printed and distributed by Al Ayyam, which is the main mouthpiece of Fatah. Bir Zeit University itself is known as a hotbed for radical terrorism and its media institute benefits from infusions of international funding even as it turns out terrorist propagandists. But if you're thinking that Condoleeza Rice could not have known all this and might have missed it, Nibal Thawabteh's own resume available on multiple sites makes her terrorist affiliations incredibly clear....

Meet the New Neighbours (What is Hamas? )

The Palestinians have knocked down Egypt's ''Apartheid Wall'' and are flooding into Egypt. One would think they would be happy about it (which the mostly are) and peaceful (which they are not entirely).

All is not roses between the Palestinians and their Egyptian ''brothers''. Attacking Egyptian policemen? And possibly threatening the Egyptian rulership? Why would these people be so violent-- and pose such a threat to the Egyptian government leadership?
