Mueller, in the end, after making his retirement money (for himself and his cronies), and lacking ANY evidence, finally folded his tent and the aspirations of the Deep State and the Corrupt Media are weeping (more) bitter tears. The Russia collusion narrative is dead even though pawns like Adam Schiff (D-CA) will continue to beat the drum because it's the only drum they have.Labels: Always On Watch, attempted coup, Mueller, Politics

Liberals' worst nightmare: a second supreme court pick for TrumpRead it all HERE.

In the week since Khizr Khan, the father of an Army captain killed in Iraq in 2004, made an impassioned call to elect Hillary Clinton, some of her supporters have found another person they'd like to see in public office: Khan.Read the rest of this dhimmitudinal puff piece HERE at Stars and Stripes.
The Charlottesville, Virginia, lawyer and his wife, Ghazala, rose to national prominence after he challenged Trump's rhetoric on Muslim Americans in a speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Thomas Keefe, a Vietnam veteran and longtime Democratic activist, watched the Khans from backstage at the convention and thought of his son's friend who died while serving in Afghanistan five years ago this month. Northern Virginia native Douglas J. Green was 23.
"There were a lot of things that were swirling around my head when Mr. Khan was speaking," he said in a phone interview, his voice cracking.
By the time Keefe, 67, had returned home to Knoxville, Tennessee, he had resolved to send a message to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about the kind of leadership he believes Americans deserve.
So he started a digital crowdfunding campaign intended to recruit Khan to run for the Virginia House of Delegates, complete with a bumper-sticker-ready slogan: "Yes We Khan!"
Through the platform Crowdpac, 123 individuals pledged more than $13,000 in less than two days. Keefe hopes to reach $20,000 by Monday....

a time when the usual and accepted way of doing or thinking about something changes completely.Last week, I said at at Ed Bonderenka's blog Not of This World...
If what we are witnessing [in this election cycle] is a paradigm shift, we shouldn't be surprised that there is a great deal of animosity. And I've come to believe that we may well be in the early stages of a paradigm shift. I lived through the huge paradigm shift of the Sixties followed by a smaller paradigm shift (Reagan),and, of course, the more recent paradigm shift (2007-present).From Trump: What American Conservatism Needs:
When a pendulum swings in reaction to a very recent swing, the pendulum will swing hard. If time allows and the clock doesn't implode, the pendulum will come back to center.
...“True” American “conservatism” cannot be saved by the executive branch or the Republican Party. It can only be preserved in the family, the home, the small town, and the political communities that make up America, what truly makes “America great.” When Americans subscribe to a national prescription as a remedy for all that ails us as a people, they unknowingly invite the type of executive abuse we have weathered for the past twenty-eight years. Please read it all HERE. We have a lot to consider before we cast our ballots in the 2016 National Election six months from now.
If Americans wish to “conserve” anything, it should be hearth and home, freedom to have your local political community reflect your values, and the possibility of upward mobility unrestrained by unconstitutional federal regulations. It should be a revival of the rugged individualism that provided the blood and sweat of American greatness. More than anything, Trump has tapped into these values. The establishment can’t stand it.
Trump’s victory has made establishment “conservatives” angry. It may even signal the demise of the Republican Party (I doubt it). It may drive some people to support Clinton or a third-party alternative in the general election. But it won’t destroy American conservatism. Trump has, whether the establishment wants to recognize it or not, rekindled it....

Ted Cruz on Tuesday [March 8] nabbed an unlikely endorsement: the backing of a Bush. The neocons have despised Cruz. But not now.
Neil Bush, a brother of George W. Bush and Jeb Bush, was listed (along with his wife) as one of 13 new additions to Cruz's national finance team. The campaign said the new additions are all former supporters of other candidates, including Bush, Rand Paul, Rick Perry and Marco Rubio.
This follows the release last week of a list of several other previous Jeb Bush backers now supporting Cruz, whose hardline conservative approach is generally at odds with the one Jeb Bush took.
Last summer, former President George W. Bush told supporters at a private fundraiser for his brother's campaign that Cruz was the GOP contender who most got under his skin. "I just don't like the guy," George W. Bush said at a Denver fundraiser....

| The Trump Train |
..Trump is inspiring tens of millions of Americans of all ages, races, religions and ideologies. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as requiring that immigrants and visitors come into this country legally with proper documentation and making sure that we can properly vet everyone who wants to come to this country. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as not rewarding corporations for taking jobs out of the country to parts of the world that have no minimum wage, environmental or child labor laws so that they can turn around and sell cheap goods to the Americans whose jobs they exported. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as not expanding benefits to illegal immigrants while veterans — American heroes — are dying because we cannot treat them quickly enough.Read the rest HERE.
If the Republican establishment does not like Trump’s ideas, it should try to beat him fair and square, by capturing the hearts and imaginations of the voters, as Trump has done over the past six months. If it can beat him fair and square, with a majority of votes and a majority of delegates, then the party — including those of us who support Trump — will come together behind the eventual nominee. But if the nomination is stolen from Trump through shadowy billionaire super-PAC money and “brokered convention” chicanery, I sadly predict that the party that I love and have helped to build for more than half a century will suffer a massive schism that may send it the way of the Whigs....
Trump’s popularity is a direct result of a tsunami of economic and cultural globalism that has flooded the shores of America over the last 25 years. The overwhelming pace of this change has upended both the country and the relationship that working-class voters have with both political parties, but especially the GOP....Important factors according to that essay: economic globalism, cultural globalism (including concerns about Islamic terrorism), and the Great Recession with the 2008 Wall Street bailout. In sum:
They [the middle class] want an outsider — someone strong enough to take on the system, someone who will not fix it or reform it but break it. Someone who will drop an anvil on the system’s head the way one was dropped on theirs [the heads of the middle class].Read the entire essay HERE.

“Jack Trammell has hundreds of stories, poems and articles to his credit, as well as two dozen book credits. He lives in central Virginia on a small farm with his family, and currently has a vampire novel in the works. He is an award winning author, teacher, researcher, and disability advocate.”Both Brat and Trammell are professors at Randolph-Macon College. Of all places! Most of my students won't even consider Randolph-Macon as an option for college. The college is not even on their lists! Just sayin'.
Most of Trammell’s tomes sound pretty boring and historical in nature. There’s Appalachian Dreams, Math in History and Down on the Chickahominy: The Life and Times of a Vanishing Virginia River.
But if his 2001 book Sarah’s Last Secret is in any way based in reality, we’re in for a seriously exciting, high drama race....

Muslim Brotherhood Launches Own U.S. Political PartyRead it all HERE.
With an eye toward the 2016 election, the radical Muslim Brotherhood has built the framework for a political party in America that seeks to turn Muslims into an Islamist voting bloc.
'Muslim voters have the potential to be swing voters in 2016," said Nihad Awad in launching the benign-sounding U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, whose membership reads like a Who's Who of Brotherhood front groups.
"We are aiming to bring more participation from the Muslim community."
USCMO also aims to elect Islamists in Washington, with the ultimate objective of "institutionalizing policies" favorable to Islamists — that is, Shariah law....
