Not surprising:

Authorities in the Saudi city of Mecca have banned the sale of pet cats and dogs at the request of religious police, the Arab News reported Thursday.

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice made the request after many young Saudis had gone outdoors with their pet dogs thus violating the kingdom's culture and traditions.

I didn't see a single dog in over ten years of my sad life in Saudi Arabia. There, I only heard a dog once and it sounded like someone was beating the poor thing.

You have no idea how utterly repulsed Muslims feel when they see Westerners petting a dog on a TV show. To them, a dog is a filthy and dirty creature. They don't get how anyone could lower themselves to touch such a hideous thing. In my extended family in Pakistan, only one relative kept a dog. That dog was always chained and kept outside for protection. More than once in Pakistan, I've seen a group of kids throw rocks at a hapless street dog and heard the terrible cries of pain.

In "moderate" Turkey early this year: "Pro-islamic municipalities in Turkey are killing stray dogs, animal rights groups claim. Municipal workers are hunting, torturing and killing the animals by the hundreds, the campaigners say."

Who are the Palestinians?

Today, there are many people around the world who wonder who the Palestinians actually are. People who belong to the ‘dark’ Muslim world are certain that Palestinians are actually a ‘nation’ and that the Holy Land belongs to them. People in the west who’ve leaned towards the left just shut their eyes and follow the Muslims like a well-trained pet.

The comparisons of today to the 1930s and Nazi Germany, and fascism to Islamists and Islamism – those who wish to conquer the world for Islam has been gathering steam over the last few months - especially when even Bush called our enemy Islamo-fascists.

But these reports miss one the most insidious tactics of infiltration and their use by the Islamist’s sidekicks - the Liberal Left.

There’s an interesting article written by Berit Kjos on The Nazi Model for Outcome-Based Education. Itbares an eerie resemblance to what is going on in our educational system today. The article concerns itself with the concept of national mastery learning and how it will create human puppets, not independent thinkers.

“That propaganda and indoctrination were two of the cornerstones of Nazi education is no secret. Hitler's goal was National Socialism, a fascist state that would subdue the world. Learning his lessons from Soviet revolutionaries, he knew that only cloaked promises and misleading visions could win the support of the unsuspecting masses -- and build a compliant army of young radicals.”

Now here’s the creepy part. Think about what the Left has done and what the liberal educational institutions and MSM have supported. Here they are.

TRANSFORM THE WORLD BY CHANGING THE CHILDREN

Change the children first: "The Nazi leadership appreciated the difficulty of indoctrinating the older generation.... They were all the more determined to mold the new generation along Nazi lines. As the leader of the Nazi Teacher's League, Hans Schemm, put it: 'Those who have the youth on their side control the future.'" Create world-class citizen: "...create a new type of student..."

TEACH POLITICALLY CORRECT BELIEFS AND VALUES

Condition students for the new social and economic order: "German youth must no longer... be confronted with the choice of whether it wishes to grow up in a spirit of materialism or idealism, of racism or internationalism, of religious or godlessness, but it must be consciously shaped according to principles which are recognized as correct...according to the principles of the ideology of National Socialism."

ESTABLISH AN OUTCOME-BASED EDUCATION SYSTEM

Restructure schools and nationalize tests and standards: "the regime endeavored to assert its control over the education system through reorganization and centralization..." Affective (feeling-centered, attitudinal), not cognitive, learning earns the graduation certificate. (Liberal feel – Conservatives think.)

IMPLEMENT MASTERY LEARNING

Condition students to become social servants, not individuals--but tell the public the opposite: "'...the principal task of the school is the education of youth in the service of ... the State in the National Socialist spirit.' This made clear the Nazi's determination to shift the focus of education away from the needs of the individual and the development of his potential as a human being to the requirements of the community of nation and State, of which the individual was a member and to which he must subordinate himself."

Politically correct standards for right and wrong: "Munich professors [were warned]: 'From now on it is not up to you to decide whether or not something is true, but whether it is in the interest of the national Socialist Revolution." (Our current education system at work) Set affective, not cognitive, goals (outcomes): "The more enthusiastic they get, the easier are the exams and the sooner they will get a position .... The new generation has never had much use for education and reading. Now nothing is demanded of them; on the contrary, knowledge is publicly condemned." Forget facts. Teach "right" attitudes or "character" through feel-good experiences. in secondary schools, were alienated by the crudity of its indoctrination."

INFUSE NEW VALUES THROUGH "REAL LIFE" LEARNING

Create new beliefs and values through multicultural and global education: "New courses were introduced in such fields as racial studies, eugenics, and defense studies and there was a new emphasis on pre-history... Law and political science courses were adapted to fit in with the changes introduced by the regime."

REVISE HISTORY

New content: "...in addition to controlling and indoctrinating the teaching profession, reorganizing the education system and establishing new elite schools, the regime sought to influence youth through the content of what was taught in schools." "Relevance" and historical revision: "The course of history must not appear to our young people as a chronicle which strings events together indiscriminately, but, as in a play, only the important events, those which have a major impact on life, should be portrayed."

RETRAIN TEACHERS

First indoctrinate teachers: "The real task of the NSLB is to create the new German educator in the spirit of National Socialism. It is being carried out with the same methods with which the movement has conquered the whole nation: indoctrination and propaganda." Certify compliant teachers. "The Nazi party... realized they could do little with the existing professors if they outwardly conformed. They concentrated, therefore, on trying to transform the profession by controlling entry and promotion within it through process of political indoctrination...."

SILENCE THE OPPOSITION

Block the negative influence of parents and traditional culture: "...these boys join our organization at the age of ten...four years later, they move from the Jungvolk to Hitler Youth and there we keep them for another four years. And then we are even less prepared to give them back into the hands of those who create our class and status barriers..." Punish parents who protect their children from state indoctrination: "A legal guardian will be liable to a fine up to 150 RM or to imprisonment, if he deliberately contravenes the stipulation #9 of this decree (registration for Hitler Youth)." Vouchers and Christian schools: "Private schools and denominational schools gradually succumbed to various pressures: the loss of government subsidies or tax concessions...."

When I hear some person spout some incoherent drivel about how America is going down the tubes, I automatically think that he or she is a product of our public education system. We are incapable of fighting this war as long as we have a large number of “human puppets, not independent thinkers” that seem be produced by the Left who are more interested in fighting the war ‘correctly’ - or in the words of John Kerry ”fight a more sensitive war on terror” – then winning it.

Allah loves to terrorize infidels

We should not be surprised at Allah’s absolute love for the Islamist terrorists and plunderers. The contemporary history confirms what many historians and critics of Islam had been writing for many years. Most of the world ignored the truth—blaming those writers as Islamphobes at best and Islam bashers at worst. But look, what a strange twist of events. The occurrences of 9/11, 7/7, Madrid, Islamist hostage takings, Islamic beheadings…all these incidents just point a single truth—that those writers had been correct all along. During the last four years, after the Islamist terrorists’ perpetration of mayhem all around the globe, many articles have been composed, mostly in the Internet, to tell with firm conviction that if ever Allah liked a single act most dearly it is the act of Islamic terror, suicide bombings and the killing of innocent citizens (see Islamic beheading here and other Islamic barbarism here). Here are three verses from the Qur’an which unashamedly promise great booty for participating in Islamic terrorism.

Allah casts terror in the hearts of unbelievers; they will reside in hell...3:151

Go forth to fight alone or in parties all together (Islamist terrorists in Bangladesh, like Jamiatul Mujahidin use this verse to justify their terror actions)...4:71

Strike terror in the hearts of the unbelievers; smite the unbelievers at their necks (i.e. behead the non-Muslims) and cut off their fingers...8:12

Allah loves to see His believers (Muslims) fall ill and suffer torment, except when the Muslims kill non-Muslims

Earlier, we noted that Allah loves to frighten and torment the believers. One of the methods by which Allah inflicts torment to the believers is through disease, ill health, poor nutrition and what not. Have a look at the television programs depicting hungry, malnourished, skeletal, diseased children and adults. In almost all cases they will be from such Islamic Paradises as: Mali, Mauritania, Sudan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan—virtually all the Muslim or Muslim- majority countries save a few oil-reach Arab nations. We should not be surprised at this. Please read the following ahadith where Allah glorifies disease, murrains, pestilence, malnutrition, draught and poverty. These scourges of humanity are Allah’s blessings on His ardent believers.

Allah may test believers by afflicting them with leprosy, baldness and blindness… (Sahih Muslim, 42.7071)

Let us read another lengthy hadith from Sunaan Abu Dawud:

Allah likes illness; He expiates sins through illness (Sunaan Abu Dawud, 2.20.2083).

Commenting on this hadith, the translator of Sunaan Abu Dawud admits that Allah does, indeed like illness and disease. Let us read his comment.

Allah is so kind to Muslims that He remits their sins by their illness. The Prophet (may peace be upon him) has pointed out that a Muslim should bear illness cheerfully. It serves as atonement for his sins (Hasan, 2001, vol. ii,
p. 879, foot note 2557).

We may be surprised that Allah has a condition by which He might let a Muslim recover from His affliction of illness. The requirement is that the recovered person should go and kill non-Muslims. We might find this impossible to believe. But here it is, in writing. Let us read this hadith from Sunaan Abu Dawud.

Book 20, Number 3101:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: When a man comes to visit a sick person, he should say: O Allah, cure Thy servant, who may then wreak havoc on an enemy for Thy sake, or walk at a funeral for Thy sake.

As usual, the translator of Sunaan Abu Dawud, in a foot note completely agrees with Allah, that one should pray for a Muslim to recover from illness so that he is ready to destroy non-Muslims (Ibid, p.884, foot note 2571).

Allah loves to behead and burn people

Allah’s method of killing people is either by burning or by beheading. This should not surprise us as we watch in television how Allah’s minions are beheading hostages in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Muhammad ordered to kill someone and not to burn him because only Allah punishes with fire… (Sahih Bukhari, 4.52.259)

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 259: Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle sent us in a mission (i.e. an army-unit) and said, "If you find so-and-so and so-and-so, burn both of them with fire." When we intended to depart, Allah's Apostle said, "I have ordered you to burn so-and-so and so-and-so, and it is none but Allah Who punishes with fire, so, if you find them, kill them."

Even Baladhuri confirms that Allah likes beheading. And as the head is severed from the neck, a good Muslim should shout ‘Allahu Akbar’. Allah loves those Muslims who behead infidels in this manner.

Allah likes beheading—Kais cut off the head of al-Aswad and shouted ‘Allah is great’ (Baladhuri, 2002, p. 161]

Allah loves to kill apostates; He is scared of them

Seize and slay the renegades (i.e., apostates) wherever you find them (death for the apostates as per Baydawi; ref. Leaving Islam, p. 17, as per the translator of Noble Qur’an kill those who reject Islam after accepting it)...4:89

If the enemies violate their oaths (i.e., if they apostatize or do not accept Islam) and taunt the faith then fight them (i.e., death for the apostates as per Maudoodi; ref. Leaving Islam, p. 18)...9:12

Covenant with Allah must be honoured; deserters (apostates) cannot escape death or being killed (death for the apostates)...33:15-16

Allah curses the hypocrites, diseased hearts; they are not able to stay as Muhammad's neighbour; wherever they are found they will be seized and slain mercilessly (i.e., kill the apostates and the hypocrites) …33:60-61

There is a terrible penalty for those who dispute about Allah after accepting Islam (apostates)...42:16

And here are a few ahadith on how apostasy against Islam was treated during Muhammad’s time.

Narrated Ikrima:

Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' "

Khalid killed some apostates and ordered those taken as captives to be killed too... (Sahih Bukhari, 5.59.628).

Volume 5, Book 59, Number 628:

Narrated Salim's father:

The Prophet sent Khalid bin Al-Walid to the tribe of Jadhima and Khalid invited them to Islam but they could not express themselves by saying, "Aslamna (i.e. we have embraced Islam)," but they started saying "Saba'na! Saba'na (i.e. we have come out of one religion to another)." Khalid kept on killing (some of) them and taking (some of) them as captives and gave every one of us his Captive. When there came the day then Khalid ordered that each man (i.e. Muslim soldier) should kill his captive, I said, "By Allah, I will not kill my captive, and none of my companions will kill his captive." When we reached the Prophet, we mentioned to him the whole story. On that, the Prophet raised both his hands and said twice, "O Allah! I am free from what Khalid has done."

An apostate was killed for no reason (long hadith, click to read)... (Sahih Bukhari, 5.59.630).

Whoever changed his Islamic religion must be killed... (Sahih Bukhari, 9.84.57)

Narrated 'Ikrima:

Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

Israel "May Have To Go It Alone" Against Iran

Israel is carefully watching the world's reaction to Iran's continued refusal to suspend uranium enrichment, with some high-level officials arguing it is now clear that when it comes to stopping Iran, Israel "may have to go it alone," The Jerusalem Post has learned.

One senior source said on Tuesday that Iran "flipped the world the bird" by not responding positively to the Western incentive plan to stop uranium enrichment. He expressed frustration that the Russians and Chinese were already saying that Iran's offer of a "new formula" and willingness to enter "serious negotiations" was an opening to keep on talking.

"The Iranians know the world will do nothing," he said. "This is similar to the world's attempts to appease Hitler in the 1930s - they are trying to feed the beast."

He said there was a need to understand that "when push comes to shove," Israel would have to be prepared to "slow down" the Iranian nuclear threat by itself.

Having said this, he did not rule out the possibility of US military action ...

Canadian Prime Minister compares hezbollah to nazis

A liberal member of parliament who tried to legitimize hezbollah during a recent trip to Lebanon, has ignited a political firestorm this week in Canada.
Delightfully, the latest broadside from Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper leaves precious little moral wiggle room for pro-hezbollah sympathizers who may be sitting in Parliament:

OTTAWA - Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Tuesday it's not unfair to liken Hezbollah to the Nazis, who once ruled Germany, because both stand for the destruction of the ''Jewish nation.''
In an interview with CanWest News Service, Harper was asked if the comparison [between hezbollah and the nazis] made earlier in the day by his parliamentary secretary Conservative MP Jason Kenney, was appropriate.
''Like all comparisons, it's true in some ways, and not in others,'' he said, ''but as near as I can tell, both Hezbollah and the Nazi party stand for the elimination of the Jewish nation. So I think that's pretty fundamental and, in that sense, I don't think it's unfair.
''I think those who associate themselves with Hezbollah in this country are operating beyond the pale, and they're frankly operating in defence of an organization that is an illegal criminal organization in this country," said Harper.

We Can All Relax Now

The incident aboard the Northwest Airliners plane was "not terror-related."


AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - The interrogation of 12 men who were removed from a Northwest Airlines flight after they aroused the suspicions of air marshals and crew produced no evidence of terrorism, the Justice Ministry said Thursday.

Flight NW0042 to Bombay, India, returned to Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport on Wednesday escorted by Dutch fighter jets, and the 12 were questioned and arrested.

"So far there are no signs that this was a terrorist threat," said ministry spokeswoman Judith Sluiter.

She declined to say why the men remained under arrest, and the investigation was continuing.


Yeah, I'd love to know the answer to that question, especially since all they were, apparently, doing was playing with cell phones:


A U.S. government official said crew members and air marshals aboard the Northwest DC-10 bound for Bombay saw the passengers trying to use cell phones and passing them among themselves while the jet was taking off. He spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the subject.

"It was behavior that average passengers wouldn't do," the official said.


Indian authorities don't seem so sure a terror plot was not involved:


India's junior foreign minister, Anand Sharma, confirmed that Dutch authorities have provided a list of names to Indian officials, but gave no other details.

"I don't know how close we were, but my gut tells me these people wanted to hijack the airplane," passenger Nitin Patel of Boston told the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper. Patel sat behind the men in business class.

The mass-circulation De Telegraaf quoted passenger Sarat Menon as saying several of the men spoke Urdu, the language commonly spoken by Indian Muslims and in Pakistan.


The thing is, in my opinion, when our government officials put an umbrella of silence over an investigation in its early stages by telling us "the incident was determined to be not terror-related," they are simply giving us the message they are not willing to deal with reality.

Now, the next thing I am going to say is important, so anyone reading this who may work in Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, or any Intelligence Dept. had better listen up:

When you tell us you are not willing to deal with the reality of terrorism, you insure that we, the common citizens will move one step closer to taking the law into our own hands.

Shouldn't we be talking about use of weapons like our Ohio Class Submarines OUT LOUD? The tactical and strategic effect of even TALKING about this seriously might be noticed in some places. Isn't a second term president (certainly after mid term elections) ideally placed poltically to do this?

Shouldn't we be talking out loud about the inevitable consequences of our allies in western europe's declining population and reproductive rates coupled with immigration of others?

Can you think of an american poltician ready to discuss any of these things?

There is a small detail about Muslim Nobel Laureates that I think reinforces the points made by Bithead.

Abdus Salam, a Pakistani physicist, won the Nobel Prize in physics in 1979. He belonged to a tiny Muslim sect called the Ahmadiyya Movement. By Pakistani law, he's not a Muslim. Wikipedia:

Professor Salam was a devout muslim who belonged to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. As such Salam is not officially recognized by the Pakistani government despite the fact that he is their country's first and only Nobel Laureate.

Think about that. A titanic achievement -- a Nobel Prize in physics -- couldn't overcome the sheer bigotry of the Pakistani society.

It's worse in Saudi Arabia. Try bringing a Jewish-authored book in the Kingdom and the customs officials will confiscate it. Names like Einstein, Feynman, and Friedman are banned in the heart of Islam.

The Muslim world would be better off if it were to emulate the Jews instead of trying to erase them.

Children Telling Ghost Stories Around The Campfire

Remember when you were a kid and you'd sit around a campfire with a group of people and tell stories, and someone would inevitably relate a story about the time a friend of a friend saw a light turn off and on by itself, or maybe a room suddenly became freezing cold. Yes, then another kid would chime in and tell of how after his grandma died, everyone could hear her walking through the house at night and bumping into things.

Before you knew it, it seemed everyone had a ghost story to tell, and before you knew it, you absolutely believed them all. There was something about sitting around a campfire with the outer darness ringing you, and the repetition of the stories. You just knew that any second a ghost was going to leap into your midst.

Watch now and see the same dynamic at play in the Islamic community of Germany. Substitute anger at Western Civilization for the campfire, and subsitute Islam for the ring of darness:


This just in: The Lebanese men suspected of having deposited bombs on German trains last month were hired hands — in the employ of the German government itself.

That, at least, is what one 27-year-old from Saudi Arabia believes. “It’s all a Protestant crusade,” the man explains. “All of northern Germany is Protestant, isn’t it? And so is President Bush.” Then the man launches into a melange of confusing arguments and historical facts. The bubonic plague, Martin Luther and former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl all make a cameo. It’s all connected somehow, the man is sure of it.

The young Saudi Arabian’s views may make little sense from a Western point of view, but you can meet him and talk to him at a street corner in the middle of Hamburg, right by the central station. Foreigners from all over the world live in this neighborhood, called St. Georg, and a large number of them are Muslim. Several mosques have been built in the neighborhood. Many nearby stores carry no alcohol — but they do have electronic memory aides for Koran students on offer.

And then there are the conspiracy theories. They are everywhere — dozens of them — including some to explain away Germany’s recent terror scare. The others — some mutually contradictory — have pat explanations for what’s really going on in the world.

The Saudi Arabian’s crusade theory is being hotly debated on Steindamm, one of the main streets in the neighborhood. “It’s not about religion, it’s about money,” says an Algerian wearing a Lacoste shirt. A man from Tunisia immediately agrees and asks, “Why else have German soldiers been sent to Congo?”

In their struggle for money and oil, Western states will use whatever means they can, according to the theory. That the USA knew about the September 11, 2001 attacks before they happened but chose not to prevent them is a widespread view. “We think the United States needed those attacks so they could start the Iraq war,” explains Mahran Abdulwahab, a Lebanese graphic designer with a Hamburg accent.

Asked what they think of the suspects arrested for the foiled train attacks, many respond with remarks like: “They’re crazy.” Few have more to say. Abdulwahab also thinks such attacks are sheer madness. “It only harms people like us who live here,” he says.

But even he — whose views are quite moderate and who even had a Jewish girlfriend once — can’t help claiming you’ll never get the whole truth from the Western media because “their reporting is just too pro-Jewish.” Many such anti-Semitic remarks — and worse — can be heard around Hamburg’s central station.

Or on television. Just a few days ago, a 17-year-old Kurd from Bonn espoused the following theory on SPIEGEL TV: “What happened first,” he said, talking about the recent conflict in Lebanon, “was that the Jews raped a child, or something like that.” Later he claimed to have learned from a credible source that Jews once systematically shot six-year-olds in a kindergarten. “They let the teacher live so she would become mentally ill,” the young man said.

Dutch arrest 12 on US plane bound for India

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Dutch police arrested 12 passengers on a U.S. Northwest Airlines plane bound for India which was forced to turn back to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport on Wednesday, news agency ANP reported.

ANP said a police spokesman said 12 were arrested, but declined to give further details due to the ongoing investigation. Dutch police were not immediately available to comment on the report.

The Dutch defense ministry said earlier the pilot decided to turn back after the crew said several of the 149 passengers on flight 42 to Mumbai were behaving suspiciously.

"Police took off a number of people on board and took them for questioning," the Dutch defense ministry said.
