Storm Track Infiltration: Solution to Radical Islam-“More Baseball and More Sex.”

From The Gathering Storm

That’s the recipe that Dr. Tawfik Hamid, author of "The Roots of Jihad" suggests to counter the jihadi teachings he was brought up in.

Dr. Tawfik Hamid is not being flip. The physician and author believes the repressed passions of young Muslims, particularly Sunnis, make them susceptible to the promise of a heaven filled with pleasures of the flesh, and eager to blow up themselves and others to get there. "I was 8 years old when I first entered this powerful brainwashing system," says Hamid, who grew up in affluence as the son of a Cairo doctor. "At first, my head was filled with images of a paradise of chocolates and lollypops. Later, it was of women."

Though his father was an atheist, Hamid lusted for the nirvana he was taught to envision in a secular Egyptian school.

"We used to pray and imagine these beautiful women in tents," he says. "At the same time, our sexual repression was overwhelming. We were taught that even masturbation would deny us our reward." Eventually, Hamid joined the Jamaha Islameia, a jihadist organization, where he fell under the tutelage of Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's No. 2, and was schooled in the art of terror. He left when he was asked to go to Afghanistan. "I could not kill," Hamid says. "I could not put the theory into practice." So he became a jihad dropout, fled to the West for safety and began examining the roots of a movement that aims to subjugate the entire non-Muslim world.

And the tired litany of excuses that the Left uses to explain why Muslims turn to terrorism?

Hamid passionately refutes theories that Islamist terror is rooted in politics, oppression, ignorance or poverty. He grew up wealthy, educated and free, and yet he fell under the jihadist spell. This is about religion, he says, and even though the West is squeamish about categorizing the war on terror as a religious struggle, it has to be fought that way.

To repeat. It’s the ideology, stupid.

Pesky Youths Torch Buses Around Paris

Nondescript....AP....
youth%20bus.jpg

The word you are thinking of is mentioned ONCE .. and to note that some of these high energy, rambunctious youths, are indeed, ...well, you know... what we really shouldn't say in case there might some upset at the thought of profiling racism, REALITY

Youths forced passengers off three buses and set them on fire overnight in suburban Paris, raising tensions Thursday ahead of the first anniversary of the riots that engulfed France's rundown, heavily immigrant neighborhoods.

No injuries were reported, but worried bus drivers refused to enter some suburbs after dark, and the prime minister urged a swift, stern response.

The riots in October 2005 raged through housing projects in suburbs nationwide, springing in part from anger over entrenched discrimination against immigrants and their French-born children, many of them Muslims from former French colonies in Africa. Despite an influx of funds and promises, disenchantment still thrives in those communities.

About 10 attackers _ five of them with handguns _ stormed a bus in Montreuil east of Paris early Thursday and forced the passengers off, the RATP transport authority said. They then drove off and set the bus on fire.

Uncovered meat?

Yesterday, I suggested in a posting below a new Infidel Babe of the Week (and what a lady). Today, a reader left a comment in the posting pointing at this El Beep article (hat tip to reader religion of pieces): Australian cleric in dress furore

Australia's most senior Muslim cleric has prompted an uproar by saying that some women are attracting sexual assault by the way they dress.

Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali said women who did not wear a hijab (head dress) were like "uncovered meat".

If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside... and the cats come and eat it... whose fault is it, the cats' or the uncovered meat?" he asked.

Unfortunately these kinds of utterings are normal coming from so called sheikhs, imams, ayatollahs and other Muslim clerics with likewise exalted titles. Personally I think the word cleric is more appropriate for use by us infidels instead of lord, leader or "sign of God".

We have seen these outrageous statements all over the Western World - especially after undercover members of the Muslim communities have started translating. One can only wonder what is being said in the Muslim countries?

Whenever Muslims are caught with statements as inacceptable as the above and often much worse, they always deny. We will be told: "It was a out of context", "badly translated" or just "I never said that".

They are being good Muslims and use lies and deceit whenever appropriate (read convenient) such as defined by taqiyya.

Fortunately many of us infidels are no longer deceived.

I also wonder how can the so called religion of peace contain so much hate? I can not imagine entering into a Christian church (or a Bhuddist monastery, or that sake) and be told that blowing that, this or those up is recommendable or even my holy duty. Or that all Muslims are unclean and must be eliminated.

No, when I enter a church I would expect a sermon on for example human relations such as respect and love for my parents, my wife and my neighbor. I would expect messages of compassion, peace and harmony.

I don't know or believe that all Muslim sermons contain messages of hate and anger. But I do know some do and it is not improbable that many do.

The coined term of Islam being the religion of perpetual outrage seems to fit I must say.

But back to Mr. Taj el-Din al-Hilal. I do like his following statements:
"If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred," he added.

Sheikh Hilali also condemned women who swayed suggestively and wore make-up, implying they attracted sexual assault.

"Then you get a judge without mercy... and gives you 65 years," he added.

Paraphrased that is:

If the Muslims stay in the Muslim countries or move back if they can not live as Westerners - then we would have no or very little terrorism in our part of the world.

If the Muslims behave as westerners and conform to our culture and our laws - then we have no problem.

If they don't, then sometimes judges without mercy and 65 years of jail is an appropriate punishment.

Let me end by stating this:

Women and thus Our Infidel Babes covered by hijab and hiding in their homes in virtual imprisonment/slavery? NEVER!

The warning from the campaign in southern Afghanistan

Corollary to Michael Yon's Warning

“ I would not be surprised to see a NATO base overrun in Afghanistan in 2007 with all the soldiers killed or captured. And when it happens, how many will claim they had no idea it was so bad and blame the media for failing to raise the alarm? Here it is: WARNING! Troops in Afghanistan are facing slaughter in 2007!

NATO kills 48 insurgents in south Afghanistan

NATO-led troops backed by artillery and airstrikes battled insurgents in southern Afghanistan, killing 48 suspected militants in three separate confrontations, the alliance said Wednesday, as Afghan police and Western troops elsewhere seized more than 10 tons of marijuana from a truck.

At least four civilians also were wounded in the clashes in Kandahar's Zhari and Panjwayi districts on Tuesday, the alliance said, adding that they were receiving treatment at military medical facilities.

My Trouble With Ahmeds

Golly gee, it's kind of hard for me to even remember how this started up. Nevertheless, Ahmed Bedier of CAIR-Florida and I have exchanged words, shall we say, recently on the web. Actually, I was just called "Mr. Pimp" by Ahmed Bedier over at YouTube this evening because I had left a comment on one of his videos almost a week ago. Allah forbid! I mentioned a historical fact. This seems to enrage Mr. Bedier and causes him to accuse me of spreading lies. However, I can't even begin to lie when I'm still laughing my ass off over being called "Mr. Pimp" by a man who claims that he and CAIR are credible while we "hate bloggers" are not.

And why, you might ask, has CAIR representative Ahmed Bedier chosen to blast the entire anti-jihadi blogging community from the comments section of MY blog? I can't answer that one, folks. It may be that he just doesn't know about site meters yet, or that he knew that I'd get that he was doing an impression of the Emperor talking to Luke Skywalker in "Return of the Jedi". Well, that was the tone of it anyway, when he discussed our "weak alliance".

But since he is addressing all of us, apparently even LGF, Jihad Watch, etc., I figured I'd cross post some of Mr. Bedier's thoughts on our blogging here.

Example #1:

Ahmed Bedier said...
PIM,

Your comment was approved and posted on my blog and I have responded to it. Most blogs are moderating comments. Everyone has to do that these days to avoid the spammers and the radicals.

Try posting a message on Little Green F(ee)tballs or (d)ihad watch and you'll quickly find out that it's censored.

You have a very distorted view of CAIR and myself. Our actions speak louder than your empty words and threats.

Who's trying to silence who? You and your friends are sooooo angry (I've read the hateful comments) that we have a voice on the web??
One of you actually put up some action alert to flag my videos on YouTube, another one has attacks on the guy that makes UmmahFilms? What is wrong with you, don't you have anything better to do?

We're speaking up against terror and violence, we're building bridges of understanding and working will the government and law enforcement and we are making a positive impact.

I'm sorry that I can not say the same thing for you and your weak alliance. All of you are using some anonymous screen names and are ashamed to publicly share those views. I doubt that anyone of significance will ever actually pay any attention to you.

How many of you are quoted in mainstream media?? That's what I thought.

3:50 AM

-@-@-@-@-@-@-@

Oh yeah, I responded. With another post on my blog actually, and a few more on his rather hateful blog. He has kept it up on his site, on YouTube, and now back at What Would Charles Martel Do? this evening with yet more insults about bloggers. That's right, since people pay him to call me "Mr. Pimp" on the web, he has more credibility than I do. Sorry if I'm not buying that line! More:

Ahmed Bedier said...
Wow I didn't know I had such a fan club out there. I should start charging a membership fee. How about hosting a live chat with Ahmed Bedier. We can call it Bedier Raw, I'm joking of course.

How do you guys find the time to post and moderate and monitor, do you have lives?

I'm not sure I have the time to respond to all your questions and concerns or time to even respond to all the comments left on my blog.

But this is an interesting experience.

Hate bloggers: understand this, you will never be as credible as CAIR. No one cares about your hateful views. You are very shady folks with questionable backgrounds and motives. Continue to live your fantasy on the Internet.

7:16 PM

-@-@-@-@-@-@-@-@

Ooooh, he sure told us! Oh that Ahmed, I've been laughing so hard ever since he called me Mr Pimp that I can't take anything seriously. But I figured everyone could use the update, especially as it was so poorly written....by a paid CAIR representative....OK I'm giggling again. I'll repost the picture that I took of the CAIR-Florida "field trip" for the girls to Tampa's Busch Gardens. I think that picture is upsetting him somehow. I mean, who do you trust when "hate bloggers" from "shady backgrounds" show up with pictures of CAIR get togethers?

Feel free to share your thoughts on these subjects with the ever engaging Ahmed Bedier, he might just come up with bad nicknames for all of us in this "weak alliance" before he's done! Or to read my response to his parting shot. It's good to see where CAIR's putting their money though, finally. Paying some guy to call me Mr. Pimp. There you go. SCAIRY. Happy Halloween from CAIR!

Excuse me while I puke...

File under: I'm so glad Pakistan is on our side

DISGRACED Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan smuggled several nuclear centrifuges to Dubai that may have been transferred to Iran, a Pakistani military official has admitted.
15-Mordor.jpg
The P2 nuclear centrifuges were also sent to North Korea, said the official, who did not want to be identified.

Reports in Pakistan yesterday quoted the official, who was speaking in Washington, as saying: "If you ask for an educated and intelligent guess, I would say, yes, they might have been sent to Iran too, but we have no evidence to prove it." Pakistani newspapers said the briefing was intended to reassure the world that Islamabad was not officially involved in the proliferation of nuclear technology

I'm so relieved now, aren't you? Let's have a beer and relax

Al-Maliki Wakes Up With A Horse's Head In His Bed

Yesterday, we brought the story of airstrikes in Baghdad, striking at Sadr City, and at a TV station with ties to Iraqi Prime Minister al-Maliki himself.

Today, we were treated to two press conferences; one at which George Bush seemed to be sending a message to the fence-straddling al-Maliki, and another at which a defensive al-Maliki signaled his irritation at the idea that he was being sent a message:

The President remained upbeat on Iraq, but admitted that the US is adapting its tactics to help the Iraqi government take control, as the enemy shifts its tactics. A failure in Iraq, he said would result in a radical Islamic empire `from Spain to Indonesia' that will control oil and blackmail the world and `an Iran with a nuclear bomb.'

President Bush, without going into details, said Baghdad had accepted a "schedule" for resolving contentious issues such as disarming militias, sharing oil revenues and amending Iraq's constitution."We are pressing Iraq's leaders to take bold measures to save their country. We're making it clear that America's patience is not unlimited." President Bush referred to Maliki as "the right man" to lead Iraq but emphasised "we'll push him" and warned US support would last "so long as he continues to make tough decisions".

"We've got patience, but not unlimited patience."

Interestingly enough, the President mentioned, almost in passing that he had talked to neighboring Sunni governments about exercising their influence on their clerics and co-religionists to help end the sectarian violence in Iraq. And mentioned the Saudis, the UAE and Jordan by name.

This is major...if true, it means that Bush has enlisted the Sunni autocracies in an attempt to shut down the Shiite bloc, for their own survival if nothing else.

Now, let's look at al-Maliki and check for signs that he's carrying a load of fecal bricks in his underwear:

Associated Press
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- An angry Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki disavowed a joint U.S.-Iraqi raid in the capital's Sadr City slum Wednesday, and criticized the top U.S. military and diplomatic representatives in Iraq for saying his government needs to set a timetable to curb violence in the country.

Al-Maliki spoke at a news conference a day after U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad said Iraqi leaders had agreed to set deadlines by year's end for achieving specific political and security goals laid out by the United States, including reining in militia groups.

"I affirm that this government represents the will of the people and no one has the right to impose a timetable on it," the prime minister said.

The prime minister dismissed U.S. talk of timelines as driven by the coming midterm elections in the United States. "I am positive that this is not the official policy of the American government but rather a result of the ongoing election campaign. And that does not concern us much," he said.

Al-Maliki complained that he was not consulted beforehand about the Sadr City offensive. The raid was conducted by Iraqi special forces backed by U.S. advisers and was aimed at capturing a top militia commander wanted for running a Shiite death squad.

"We will ask for clarification to what has happened," al-Maliki said. "We will review this issue with the Multinational Forces so that it will not be repeated."

While the U.S. military said the raid had been cleared in advance with al-Maliki's government, President Bush acknowledged that al-Maliki himself may not have been consulted.

May not have been consulted?

If that's true, then that in itself is a signal to al-Maliki. I would advise that, you know, maybe, rather than lecturing the United States on what we ought to be doing, perhaps, he ought to be looking over his sholder, and checking behind the curtains when he walks into his room at night.

But, whatever. Let's check out what Joshua Pundit has to say:

My take on this is that Maliki definitely got some tough love from the Bush administration today..and that it may even have consisted of a formal timeframe for a US withdrawal if he doesn't quit walking the tightrope. I think he was told plainly that he could either be in Iran's camp or in America's, and that the raid on Sadr City, which also utilized Iraqi as well as American troops was designed to underline that message...which would explain Maliki's near temper tantrum today. I think that a request by us to Iraq for long term bases was also on the agenda. In fact, when President Bush was asked about it, he simply said that Iraq was a sovereign nation and would have to make it's own decisions on that.In view of Bush's remarks on Iran and what apparently seems to be a major change on iraq, things could get very interesting in the next couple of months...

In other words, if al-Maliki doesn't like what we are doing, that is just as well, because we've got some other pressing matters to take care of anyway.

I believe regime change in Iran is the key to shutting down the Iraqi chaos anyway. The Shias in Iraq are approximately 70% of the population. Put that together with the tacit support they have in the Shiite Iranian government, and the Iraqi Shias have come to believe they are all-powerful, as is evidenced by al-Maliki's quite cozy and well-known relationships with men like Moqtada al-Sadr.

Rick Ballard, at YARGB, seems to be concerned, in fact, that al-Maliki may have decided (a la Mubarak) that he has been elected Prime Minister for life:

One of the larger problems involved in trying to instill hope for representative democracy in the Middle East is the quaint Islamic/Arabist custom of defining the election process as "one man, one vote, one time". Egypt, Pakistan and Syria are good examples of the successful application of that custom (Pakistan isn't Arab but it sure is Islamist). It appears that Maliki may be trying to follow his co-religionist cousins path in Iraq.

Reading this article leaves me with a definite impression that Maliki's ties to Sadr are aimed at making Sadr's militia the "enforcer" for a dreamed of power grab. If true, it would be entirely unsurprising.I wonder if toning down 'Stay the Course' rhetoric and dropping the noble lie of 'Religion of Peace' might be a prelude to engagement in Iraq in the religiously dictated muslim 'thugs and slaves' manner? Do we have an Attaturk waiting in the wings to instill democracy in the only way that has ever been successful in a muslim country?

If Maliki is hard of hearing, perhaps putting Sadr in the ground might provide a cure? It's worth a try - especially since the Iraqi Army is about two years away from being totally reliable.

I believe we should have done that long ago. But, soon is better than never.

Israeli Warplanes In "Incident" With German Ship Off Lebanon?

I can't wait to hear what really happened here. For now, we have to go with what the MSM is telling us:

Two Israeli warplanes were involved in an armed incident with a German ship patrolling Lebanon's waters as part of the UN force in the Arab country, the German military told AFP.
A spokesman for the command of the German mission in
Lebanon said it was investigating the incident which took place on Monday.

According to Thursday's edition of the Tagesspiegel newspaper, two Israeli F-16 warplanes fired shots as well as anti-missile defence flares while flying low over the German vessel.

The newspaper said the incident had been reported to parliament on Wednesday by a state secretary in the defence ministry, Christian Schmidt. In Israel, Defence Minister Amir Peretz denied his country's planes had opened fire near a German ship, in a telephone call with German counterpart Franz Josep Jung.

"No Israeli plane opened fire at a German ship and Israel has no intention of attacking the German forces," Peretz said, according to his spokesman.

EU gave diplomacy a chance

And it worked just fucking great:

Iran starts second series of centrifuges

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran has expanded its controversial nuclear work by starting a second cascade of centrifuges to enrich uranium, a semiofficial news agency reported Wednesday.

The news came as world powers moved toward introducing a draft resolution in the U.N. Security Council that would impose limited sanctions on Iran because of its refusal to cease enrichment - a process that can produce material for nuclear power reactors or weapons.

The Iranian Students News Agency quoted an anonymous official Wednesday as saying that Iran had started a second cascade of centrifuges two weeks ago and that "gas will be injected into the cascade during the current week."

"We will exploit the new product from the injection," ISNA quoted the official as saying, meaning that Iran would use the enriched uranium obtained by inserting gas into the centrifuges.

Winds of War: Are We Getting a Clue, Yet?

From The Gathering Storm

This was published at NeoCon Express.

The politicians in the EU, UN and US don’t seem to get it – but the military does. I wonder if they are readying plans to fight in this theater of war once given the word.

The following is from a press release today by the US Military's Central Command. It is encouraging that our military understand the nature of the threat and the objectives of this brutal enemy:

US Central Command: ISLAMIC EXTREMIST GOAL: RESTORING THE HISTORIC CALIPHATE

Al Qaeda and some Islamic extremist groups have stated that their ultimate goal is to restore a caliphate encompassing all former and current Muslim lands. The totalitarian state would impose a strict interpretation of Islamic law, curbing freedom of speech and religion, and women’s and minority rights.

Though maps vary, the plan would extend the caliphate into the middle of Africa, South Asia and parts of Europe and Southeast Asia. After the historic caliphate is established, some plans show long-term efforts for it to encompass the entire globe.
