JTA and Haaretz [Among Others] Owe Us an Explanation on Supposed Antisemitic Incident in Belgium

Last week I posted a comment about an apparent antisemitic incident in Bruges, Belgium. It reported that an American professor had been thrown out of a famous cafe because he wore a kippah.

To add insult to injury, when he went to the police to report the incident the police refused to take the report in English.

Then serious question began to be raised about exactly what happened. The cafe owner said that this was NOT how the incident proceeded but that there had been a dispute about the cost of the cup of coffee.

I had some questions about the incident and expressed my reservations but still posted it without checking further. My mistake.

Then an energetic correspondent, Dan, began to barrage me with emails which are posted here both at the original story [which is no longer there] and at "About this Blog" suggesting I check further. He was right.

A number of sites, have removed the post. Others including YeshivahWorld News have posted the response of the cafe. The cafe argues that it was about the price of the coffee. If so, then the man could not have been thrown out, since he obviously was served the coffee.

This morning I checked and the original story is all over the internet.

Since both JTA and Haaretz were the prime English language sources for this story, they should be doing some checking and, if not true, issue a retraction.

There are enough real incidents of antisemitism around that we do not need to be reacting to incidents which are not real.

Beware The Cuckoo In The Nest

I was curious about Kosovo declaring independence with the support of the USA and the UK and thought I would learn more:

Kosovo was a medieval Christian Serbian state until the middle ages. many churches and monasteries were built in the period. The enevitable encroachment of Islam reared it’s ugly head and Kosovo was conquered by the Ottomans in 1455.

Over the coming centuries control of Kosovo was passed between Muslim Albanians and Christian Serbs on a regular basis. At the beginning of the 20th century the Serbian reconquest of Kosovo was described as retribution for the 1389 Battle of Kosovo.

As a result of the World War II Axis invasion of 1941 the greatest part of Kosovo became a part of Italian-controlled Fascist Albania, and smaller bits by the Tsardom of Bulgaria and Nazi German-occupied Kingdom of Serbia.

During the fascist occupation of Kosovo by Albanians, until August 1941 alone, over 10,000 Serbs were killed and between 80,000 and 100,000 Serbs were expelled, while roughly the same number of Albanians from Albania were brought to settle in these Serbian lands.

Islam is now the predominant religion, professed by most of the majority ethnic Albanian population, the Bosniak, Gorani, and Turkish communities, and some of the Roma/Ashkali/Egyptian community, although religion is not a significant factor in public life.

Not until now. There won't be a long wait to see a sharia state.

Religious rhetoric was largely absent from public discourse in Muslim communities, mosque attendance was low, and public displays of conservative Islamic dress and culture were minimal.

Having looked at the history it clearly follows a familiar pattern. Originally a Christian country, conquered by the ever expanding Islamic “Religion of Peace”, legitimately re-conquered by the Christian Serbs and then conquered again by the mass immigration of Albanians. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

It gets worse. The ethnic Albanians having moved to Kosovo, presumably for a better life, then demanded the country as their own. When the Christian Serbs objected NATO bombed them into submission. Now the interlopers have their way, independence from Serbia.

It follows therefore that when the two to three million Muslims who have moved to England for a better life decide that they want their own sharia law state, will NATO also bomb us into submission if we object?

The clear moral of this story is that Islam cannot co-exist peacefully alongside any other culture. There is no example in the world that I can think of where they do. It is deliberate on the part of Muslims to create conflict and tension wherever they are, whenever they are immigrants.

I can understand why the Serbs are angry at the surrender of their country to Islam after many centuries of history. The Serbs admittedly committed atrocities against the Kosovans in the 1990’s and NATO bombed them in order to protect them.

However, we do need to remember that the Albanian Kosovans were waging war against the Serbs at the time and committing equally atrocious violence against the Serb population in what was a classic Muslim tactic of stirring up resentment in the Kuffar population.

Where next? Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands? Capitulation in Kosovo has created a dangerous precedent wherever there are Muslim cuckoos in the nest.

Cuckoos are lazy, parasite birds that live off the proceeds of others. That sounds familiar.

Storm Track Infiltration: We Are Already Living as Dhimmis

Europe is willingly on the path to dhimmitude but America is not far behind for we are already living the Three Laws of Islam.

The First Law of Islam: Thou Shalt Not Criticize Islam.

The laws beyond that will follow. Since this special status of Islam leaves all other religions unprotected, Islam already has a superior status to other religions while other religions have an inferior status to Islam. With the first law in place, WE ARE ALL ALREADY DHIMMIS.

The Second Law of Islam: Islam is Superior to All Other Beliefs

Islam may be propagandized in schools while Judaism or Christianity may not. Muslims may pray in schools, members of other religions may not. Muslim holy books are treated as holy, while the holy books of other religions are treated as myth. The violence of other religions is condemned, while the violence of Islam is covered up. This leads us to Islam's second law, Islam Is Superior To All Other Beliefs. By giving exclusive status to Islam, we have already implemented this as well.

The Third Law of Islam: You Will Obey Us

By giving in to Islamic rage, we have already set the pattern of functioning as Dhimmis, of responding to Muslim tantrums with appeasement. The pattern continues from there with Muslims in public life enforcing their religious laws on everyone else. Muslim taxi drivers are already doing this by refusing to carry passengers who carry alcohol, seeing eye dogs for the blind and Muslim cashiers are refusing to handle pork.

Think about these laws next time you hear that a Muslim is oppressed, CAIR complain and the ACLU defend those that will bring down our culture.

Here’s another reason why we are already on the road to dhimmitude unless we wake up in this country.

Massive Explosion At Israeli-Owned Texas Oil Refinery

18 February 2008: A massive explosion rocked the ALON oil refinery in Big Spring, Texas shortly after 8:00 a.m. local time today, blowing out windows and shaking houses and businesses up to 25 miles away. Despite the magnitude of the explosion and fire, officials are reporting that eleven people were injured from the blast at the refinery, one critically, a toll likely minimized by the President's Day holiday.

ALON employs about 170 people and produces about 70,000 barrels a day. A Dallas based company, ALON is a majority owned company by ALON Israel Oil Co. Ltd.

Although no cause for the explosion has been determined, this refinery has reportedly been the target of surveillance within the last 18 months, by at least two men of Middle Eastern appearance.

Given the recent threats by Islamic terrorists to U.S. and Israeli assets in the U.S. and abroad in retaliation for the death of top Islamic terrorist Imad Fayez Mughniyeh, the Northeast Intelligence Network will continue to monitor events pertaining to this explosion.

Kosovo Joins The Ummah

So, those Western nations recognizing the independence of Kosovo are enabling and empowering the Ummah. Isn't that just wonderful? Another step to the establishment of the worldwide caliphate.

How stupid can the West be?

Um, never mind. I already know the answer. I see the voluntary dhimmitude on a regular basis.

CAIR Loses Status?

According to this February 18, 2008 update from the United American Committee, CAIR, whose shady connections have been well exposed by Andrew Whitehead of the web site Anti-CAIR (among others), CAIR may have come down a peg or two (emphases mine):

A major victory in the fight against Jihad has apparently occurred. Somewhere in the dead of night, without any known announcement from the organization, the highly controversial Washington DC based group CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations has apparently lost the tax status which enabled it to conduct lobbying activities. The organization was registered for many years under the IRS tax code 501c(4) which allowed the organization to conduct lobbying activities, campaign funding, legislation and candidate backing, and many other government and litigation related activities. A 501c(4) tax status is very difficult to maintain, requiring quarterly public filings, and is very regulated under strict lobbying laws, yet is the most powerful tax status for organizations wishing to influence government. CAIR, who was under this status, had numerous members of their leadership indicted on terrorism related charges in the past, and had received large amounts of funding from questionable foreign sources. Many critics of the group often wondered how CAIR was able to hold on to such a highly critiqued tax status such as 501c(4). In contrast there is another tax status which is much weaker, and one that is very easy for most anyone to receive, and that status is 501c(3), a status which U.S. tax laws prohibit such organizations from engaging in large amounts of lobbying and government influence activities, it is a status for educational groups and churches, which is greatly restricted in the ability to influence any kind of legislation. CAIR has recently downgraded the description of their organization on their website to 501c(3). While calls to their office could not confirm the reasons, it appears that CAIR may have lost the status as of the first of this year.

Note, the current organization description on CAIR's website reads:
"CAIR is a not-for-profit organization recognized as tax-exempt under U.S. Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3)."

While internet archives of the site as of June 2007 read as follows:
"The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(4), grassroots civil rights and advocacy group."

Chalk one up for the good guys.

Could there be a connection with CAIR's recent tussle with Michael Savage?

Or is CAIR backing off because the organization dare not open financial records to the light of day as was the case in CAIR's law suit against Andrew Whitehead of Anti-CAIR?

Let's see if CAIR publishes any kind of response to the above update from the United American Committee. Of course, CAIR may do what the organization does best — stonewall or spin the story.

Whoopsi.....sorry Condi..facts will out .. U.S. military contradicts State on Iran: Hundreds of weapons caches found in Iraq

BAGHDAD -- Iranian-backed militias are apparently preparing for major strikes against the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq, military officials said.

"In just the past week, Iraqi and coalition forces captured 212 weapons caches across Iraq, two of those inside Baghdad, [which have] growing links to Iranian-backed Special Groups," U.S. military spokesman Rear Adm. Gregory Smith said.

Officials said that despite assertions by the State Department, Iran has maintained or increased support to the Special Groups. The organization was deemed a splinter of the Iranian-financed Mahdi Army, led by Shi'ite cleric Moqtada Sadr.

Maybe Obama can hope hard enough that they will behave, schedule a 'why can't we all just get along conference'.

"What we're seeing is an increase in the use of weapons by Iranian-backed Special Groups," Smith told a briefing on Sunday.

Smith said the number of weapons caches -- which included rockets and improvised explosive devices -- discovered in January 2008 was the highest in a year. He said the Special Groups, directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, were hoarding weapons for strikes against the coalition.

"Many of these caches have been in Iraq for some time now," Smith said. "And through, I guess, the vigilance of both our operations and that of the tips by local citizens, we're uncovering more and more of these caches. What's significant is that there are still attacks occurring daily by Iranian-backed Special Groups against coalition and Iraqi security forces."

Officials said the Mahdi Army has maintained its ceasefire declared in August 2007, a move that has resulted in a significant drop in Shi'ite violence. At the same time, they said, Special Groups -- supported, trained and financed by Teheran -- have increased their attacks.

What does that mean?

"Iraqis go to Iran, receive the training, and return back to Iraq and participate as both training other individuals in the conduct of those same skills, but also organizing to conduct operations," Smith said. "The Special Groups' activity has not decreased in recent months. They continue to be probably the most violent of the extremist groups that we're seeing from Shia sects. But the intent of Iran in supporting the training and financing we believe continues."

Why K-State Is a Free Speech Red Zone

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education has given Kansas State University a free speech rating of "Red" mainly for the policies and antics of the school paper the Collegian. This morning I attempted to post a response to an article titled "Global Women: Feminist Should Reach Beyond the U.S." The main point of this drivel is that the practice of women in the West wearing make-up is part and parcel to Western/American Patriarchy and oppression of women, yada...yada...yada.... Nowhere is mentioned the real oppression of women at the hands of Islam. While Ayaan Hirsi Ali lives in fear for her life, the hypocrites at the Collegian attack the very culture that provided Ali with freedom, education, and opportunity. You can rest assured that the gutless wonders who run the Collegian have nothing to say about Ali having to live in fear from death threats from Jihadists in the West.

This is because the Collegian has a policy of not allowing any criticism of the Religion of Peace to grace its pages. My comments to the above mentioned article were in reference to the real (not made up) oppression women endure under Islam. I noted for the intellectually dishonest trolls of the Collegian that they don't have to go far for examples of this. Since moving to Manhattan I have noticed several women wearing the head-to-toe veils that are representative of a complete absence of basic rights and (genuine) oppression right here in Kansas. While the cowards at the Collegian rant about the evils of make-up, they ignore this symbol and method of female subservience. To do otherwise would require of these manques the ability to generate an independent thought and to jettison the multicultural dogma that has been drummed into their skulls.

German professors: 'Nazis helped establish Israel'

Jihad-professing Islamists and Holocaust-denying Nazi-sympathizers have long been saying that the Zionist-project of establishing Israel as a homeland for the Jews is the work of Nazis and Jews conspiring together.

(For instance, you can read here that "The Jews in Palestine even allied with the Nazis against Britain in World War II, to instigate the creation of Israel." Or, here is an example of the same lie being put forth by an Islamic anti-Semite.)

The fact of the matter is it was the Islamists who conspired with the Nazis against the Jews. See here, for a history of the Grand Mufti al-Husseini and his establishment of Islamic Nazi armed forces in the Palestinian territories during World War II.

Now, a group of German professors are joining in by adding to the propagation of this abominable lie:

Twenty-five German professors have signed a letter in which they argue that the Nazis helped to establish the State of Israel, that Germany has therefore paid its debt to the world, and should be 'neutral' as between Israel and the Arabs. You can't make this stuff up.

25 German professors co-signed a manifesto calling on Germany to stop giving Israel "preferential treatment," because, among other reasons, the country "helped" establish Israel by expelling Jews from Germany during the rule of the Third Reich.

Approximately 160,000 Jews who were expelled from Nazi Germany ended up in the British mandate of Palestine and strengthened the Jewish presence here at the expense of the Arab population, they claimed.

Visiting in Israel as guests of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the Academic College of Netanya, four German professors were debating their claims with Israeli academics who opposed them.

They claimed that approximately 160,000 Jews who arrived in mandatory Palestine enlarged Jewish control of the land from just six percent during the British mandate to approximately 60% after the War of Independence. Additionally, the Germans said their country has "paid off" its debt to the Jewish people by the sums it had given the Israeli government and survivors until today.

They admitted that the Holocaust was, nevertheless, an indelible stain in Germany's history.

The professors called on the German government to improve its relations with Arab countries by adopting an "evenhanded" approach to both Israelis and Arabs.

The debate was initiated by Dov Ben Meir, one of the heads of the Center for Strategic Dialogue at the college and formerly chairman Knesset. Prof. Moshe Zimmerman, an expert on German history, was also sitting on the Israeli side.

Ben Meir published his own counter-manifesto, rebuking the Germans' claims one by one.

Reflections Upon The Copenhagen Intifada, Day 8

After reaching a level of between 150 and 200 arson fires per night, the media in Denmark now reports, with a sense of relief, that there were "only" 88 fires last night.

The Copenhagen intifada has garnered some attention in the International Media... and Prime Minister Rasmussen appeared on DR TV news to condemn the action of the "troublemakers"- though without offering any kind of plan to end the vandalism. I think the government is waiting for the danish weather - cold rain - to end the disturbances...

In his daily roundup for 15 February, Richard at the Belmont Club argues that the Copenhagen Intifada is more proof of the failure of the Welfare State. This argument is nothing but the manipulation of fact by Fernandez to fit his preordained world view. ONE COULD ARGUE THAT THIS IS PROOF OF THE SUCCESS OF THE WELFARE STATE:

99% of the Danish Public are content; they are only affected by this nightly crime ritual because they hear about it on the morning news; they believe these troublemakers should be punished or deported but the STATE LACKS THE POWER APPARATUS TO QUASH THE TROUBLEMAKERS!

(And Fernandez - the Danish State lacks the police force and legal tools to act because the welfare state by-in-large does function...)

My errand here is not to defend the Welfare State - but you must understand that when danish citizens provide - through their taxes - "FREE" universal (sometimes mediocre) healthcare, "FREE" education (also mediocre sometimes) - including technical schools, universities etc. - and CASH support to college students of about $1200 per month, RENT subsidies, subsidized dental care, quarterly payments to families with children - then you can also understand that Danes are tired of these troublemakers - and would be pleased to see them disappear.

Numerous commentators have taken this past weeks unrest and mixed it in with latest Muhammad Cartoon controversy, the situation in the Middle East etc. etc. Hizb-ut-Tahrir also tried to gain exposure from the current situation.

Yes - these factors do play a sort of amorphous, tertiary role - but we are better served by keeping our apples separated from oranges. The wave of arson and vandalism is being committed by maladjusted youths, mostly children of immigrants from muslim countries.

Many of the perpetrators are below the legal age limit to be prosecuted, and they are being directed by older teenagers and young men. This hierarchy reflects the structure of the existing network of criminal gangs involved in petty thievery and drug trafficking. These youths are by and large not at all politically conscious - judging from their comments on the news one wonders if they are conscious at all! But there is a real danger that this criminal environment will be the agar agar of future terrorists.


Frankly, Northern Seer seems to contradict himself several times in this report. However, the report still contains interesting and vital information, so I post it here.

The fact that "the perpetrators" of the Intifada are "being directed by older teenagers and young men" suggests that an organized hierarchy could be at work. I believe these riots are organized by Imams and other Muslim community leaders. It is very likely that they are organized from bases in countries other than Denmark.

During the first Cartoon Intifada this was evident, as Imams from Denmark traveled to the Muslim world to instigage trouble over the cartoons. The resultant wave of riots did not actually happen until several months after the publication of the cartoons. And, when the riots began, the rioters magically had hundreds of Danish flags available to them to burn in the psychotic street rituals of Allah.

I believe these riots in Denmark which we are currently seeing are spurred by the police investigation into the murder plot against Kurt Westergaard, the cartoonist who drew the picture of Mohammed with the bomb in his turban.

Esther from Islam Watch has made the point that the current riots started before the arrest of the suspects. However, I'm guessing (and yes, this is only a hunch) that the suspects knew the arrests were coming. (Surely the police investigation must have included police questioning of various people around the subjects.)

Voila, we have an Intifada on our hands.

We shall see, as this thing plays out, whether my hunch is true. If the second Cartoon Intifada blows up larger and larger, and winds its way into Muslim countries, if Danish flags appear once again, as if by magic, if the riots only end when Muslim community leaders make a show of politely asking the rioters to pretty please stop, then we will know, once again, who directs this war against the West.

Historical Spanish Artwork Featuring Heads Of Muslims Covered Up

These two photos are of a famous statue in Spain differ significantly.

The statue is in the cathedral at Santiago de Compostela and is of one of the liberators of Spain from Muslim occupation.

The statue originally showed the triumphant Spaniard on a horse rearing over the heads of defeated Muslims.But that has recently become "incorrect".

The defeated Muslims are now covered by a bank of flowers.

Storm Track Intimidation: UK Sending Wrong Message? I Don’t Think So

Do you invite someone into your country to speak to a dissatisfied population who justifies acts of terrorism or express views that could foster inter-community violence, and that it did not matter if women and children were the victims of suicide attacks and called for the destruction of the State of Israel, or call for the death penalty for homosexuality and preach that husbands should beat "disobedient" wives?

Not in a civilized society, at least. But Muslims in the UK think otherwise.

Britain To Revoke America's Independence

I must agree with the idea here. We Americans have not done a very good job at nominating cadidates for the land's highest office. So, we deserve this.

A timely message from John Cleese:


To the citizens of the United States of America:In light of your failure in recent years to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.

Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas, which she does not fancy). Your new Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, will appoint a Governor for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire may be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed.

To aid in the transition to a British Crown Dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect: You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary.

1. Then look up aluminium, and nuclear, and check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at just how wrongly you have been pronouncing them.

2. The letter 'U' will be reinstated in words such as 'colour','favour' and 'neighbour.' Likewise, you will learn to spell 'doughnut' without skipping half the letters, and the suffix '-ize' will be replaced by the suffix '-ise'. Generally, you will be expected to raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. (look up 'vocabulary').

3. Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as "like" and "you know" is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. There is no such thing as US English. We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell-checker will be adjusted to take account of the reinstated letter 'u' and the elimination of -ize.

What Is Sharia Finance?

It is a stupid way of swindinling Allah if this article is correct. Allah must be too stupid to realize that the whole system is based upon the goal of paying the same interests rates, and achieving the same results as Westerners, while using a slightly (very slight) different means:


Sharia forbids earning or paying interest on loans. So Sharia finance is about the ways to get around this prohibition. Sharia finance also concerns prohibitions on using money to finance the pork or alcohol industries.

The first is not a problem for dividend or capital gains earnings because they clearly involve risk which is a requirement of Sharia investments. The problem arises with home mortgages and savings accounts.

Home mortgages are handled by having a Sharia bank buy the relevant house and then sell it back, on a monthly payment schedule, to the mortgagee plus a rental fee on the use of the house. The net result is identical to a mortgage loan.


Pastorius note: This is exactly what we sons of apes and pigs do.


A savings account in a Sharia bank is one where the deposited money is invested in only Sharia investments. The returns are dividends and capital gains which are put in a fund that pays out the regular market savings account interest rate. Again, this is not really very different than a standard bank savings account except for the way the funds are invested (definitely not as secure as a bank savings account and certainly not insured by any government.)

All other Sharia finance is based on equity funds that exclude interest bearing instruments, like bonds, and avoid stocks in inappropriate (pork and alcohol) corporations. (Think socially responsible funds with an Islamic agenda.)

The multiple tools of hedge funds... options, puts, calls and arbitrage contracts are nearly all well suited to Sharia finance (excluding bets on interest rate markets such as Libors.)

The Sharia prohibition on interest was appropriate at the time of Mohammed, as Christianity took the same position. (Jews in both Moslem and Christian societies were relegated to banking.)We now see interest as a rental on money composed of a mix of risk, market pricing (national price index) and the supply of funds.


Okey doke. Well, at least Allah is buying it. Muslims ought to be proud to have a god they can hoodwink like that.
