Muslim Whining About The Pope

U.S. Muslims perceive slights, from the April 20, 2008 edition of the Washington Post:
...[M]any Muslims in America remain wary, saying the pope has created the impression that he is insensitive to their faith.

[...]

Some Muslim leaders invited to meet the pope in Washington declined, citing the controversies over the Regensburg lecture and conversion. "I didn't attend," said Salam al-Marayati, executive director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, who was invited to the interfaith meeting. "The invitation was to be involved in the ceremonies and the pageantry, but not in authentic, in-depth discussions on issues affecting Catholic-Muslim relations today."

There was no exchange in the meeting, according to participants, with Benedict delivering an address to the 200 leaders representing five faiths.

"It was not very interactive. It was not a two-way street," said Nihad Awad, a co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who attended.
Pope Benedict didn't play the dhimmi to CAIR? Good! Besides, Pope Benedict's visit to the United States wasn't all about pleasing Muslims in the first place, nor was the visit about interfaithing.

So what is the Pope's position on interfaithing? According to the Washington Post article,
"[Pope Benedict is] very much in favor of interreligious dialogue," [Georgetown University theologian] Reese said. But, he added, the pope's "great fear is relativism. . . . I think his biggest fear is that Catholics will misinterpret interreligious dialogue as meaning all religions are the same."
Of course, not all religions are the same! And Pope Benedict is wise to be wary of interfaithing, which Muslims have a way of turning to Islam's advantage.

Human Rights Orgs Aids Terrorism And Uranium Theft Condemning Niger

The islamic Taureg tribes are revolting in Niger through terror, attacks on civilians and are engaged with theft of uranium.
The 'Political Correct' Human Rights Orgs are quick to condemn Niger in it's response to terror, the Human Rights Orgs are notorious for endorsing the Sharia law by respecting the Cairo convention on Human Rights which puts the sharia jurisprudence above the universal charter of Human Rights.
It does not take much imagination as to where uranium could end up on the black market from an islamic tribe, though the possibility to make a Nuclear bomb is remote there is a very serious possibility in fabricating a dirty bomb, the Tuareg tribes have got trading routes throughout a number of North and Central African countries such as Sudan, Egypt, Morrocco and Libya.

From: Reuters Africa

NIAMEY (Reuters) - Niger has toughened its anti-terrorism legislation to help its security forces fight a rebellion by Tuareg fighters in the country's uranium-producing north, officials said on Sunday.

A law passed by the West African country's parliament on Saturday penalises the manufacture or possession of explosive devices, hostage-taking, attacks on transport and unlawful possession of radioactive materials.

The rebel Tuareg-led Niger Justice Movement (MNJ) has been fighting a guerrilla campaign for more than a year against the central government to press for more autonomy and a greater share of the wealth of the uranium-rich northern region.

"The integration of this anti-terrorism law into our judicial structure equips our authorities to fight both effectively and legally this scourge that spares no country," Justice Minister Dagra Mamadou told parliament.

Niger, a landlocked former French colony, is one of the world's top producers of uranium, which is used to fuel nuclear reactors and can also serve to manufacture nuclear weapons.

International human rights groups have accused Niger's security forces of committing abuses, including extra-judicial killings, in their fight to quell the Tuareg rebellion.

Earlier this month, a report by London-based Amnesty International said Niger's army shot dead, tortured and abducted several civilians in recent weeks in a wave of retaliation for attacks by rebels.

MNJ fighters have killed at least 70 soldiers, taken dozens more hostage and ambushed convoys and mined roads in the deserts of the northern Agadez region. They have also raided at least one mining camp.

The new legislation also punishes financing and recruitment for terrorism and gives security forces tougher powers, for example by increasing the period of time that police and military can hold suspects.

Niger's government, which dismisses the MNJ fighters as smugglers and bandits and refuses to recognise their demands as legitimate, denied the report.

Fiercely proud of their independence from outsiders, the nomadic Tuaregs staged revolts in Mali in the 1960s and 1990s and in Niger in the 1990s for more autonomy from black African-dominated governments in far-away capitals.

Peace agreements after the 1990s rebellions aimed to grant Tuareg communities a greater degree of autonomy, but discontent has persisted and revolts have flared again in both countries.

Although the insurgents in Niger and Mali have not declared any formal links, security officials suspect they may be co-operating with each other at least informally.

Ahmadinejad Explained

This is a very thorough description of the nutcase that Obama will sit down and chat with. Me thinks Obama will be in way over his head with this one.

Ahmadinejad Phenomenon
Author: Jahanshah Rashidian (Iran/Germany) - April 19, 2008

Among the IRI’s seniors, president Ahmadinejad is more known for his fierce rhetoric and odd behaviour. His absurd comments, lack of rationality, revolting habits and odd gestures suggest a personal immaturity or even abnormality.

In his speeches, he usually sinks himself into a hectic and incoherent stance in which his words go so beyond the limits of decorum that even some of his companions feel embarrassed about him.–even the most inexperienced and insecure politicians rarely engage in spontaneous outbursts like he does.

Ahamadinejad displays a skilful ability to deceive, manipulate, and con the unwary, while seeming perfectly sincere. The self-proclaimed “street cleaner of the people,” can raise a bogus enthusiasm among his followers. However, his words echo hatred, threats and terror against others. His words have made the entire world to raise its eyebrows. Even his supporters in the regime are shaking their heads in embarrassment. And yet, as loony as he may seem, it would be a grave mistake not to take him dangerously.

Ahamadinejad’s speech gaffes are well known. Some of his verbal blunders or odd phrases are more than just simple mistakes. At Columbia University of New York, last September, he claimed that there are no homosexuals living in Iran. For the word “homosexual”, he spewed a vulgar word, “hamjensbaz”, in Persian that brought his Iranian audience to a mocking laughter.

Then, in front of people who did not speak Arabic, Ahamadinejad began reciting verses from the Koran in Arabic, and continued on with a sermon of cheap sentiments, still in Arabic, for 20 embarrassing minutes that could make even an Arabic speaking audience question this man’s sanity. While boasting his perspective as “an academic”, he proclaimed that the role of science is to serve Islam, and that any science not in the service of Islamic goals is corrupt. As he described it, “Science is the light, and scientists are to be pure and pious. Even if humanity achieves the highest level of physical and spiritual knowledge, as long as its scholars and scientists are not pure, then this knowledge cannot serve the interests of humanity.” Elaborating on this notion, he argued that a great majority of scientists are corrupt because they are serving corrupt governments that reject the pure and pious path of Islam.

The morals of Iran's moral chief

As police chief in Tehran, Gen. Reza Zarei was responsible for ridding the streets of immorality. Bare ankles and mal-veiling was one of his pet peaves.

In fact, mal-veiling is so looked down upon in Iran, that a Friday prayer leader calls for criminal prosecution against "mal-veiling"

Alam-al-Hoda told the worshipers that it is a crime not wearing a proper Islamic dress and the security forces must prevent it at all costs.

"Mal-veiling is the root of many other criminal behaviors in the society," said he.
And of course, Mr. Morals himself, Gen Reza Zarei is doing his part;

Chief of SSF in Tehran Province, Brig. Gen. Reza Zarei said, "In improving the 'public security,' 1,410 individuals have been arrested."

"To improve the 'public security,' 113,454 individuals were stopped and advised [on how to properly dress] in the public. Out of those, 5,000 were just given oral warnings by the SSF agents and 1,690 others were summoned to courts for criminal investigation," said Zarei to the state-run news agency ISNA.
But, Mr. Moralness himself has been busted for being uh, immoral.
Iran: Tehran police chief arrested in brothel with six prostitutes
Tehran, 10 March (AKI) - Tehran's police chief, Reza Zarei, has been arrested after he was found nude in a local brothel with six naked prostitutes, according to report on the Iranian Farda News.

Farda News is a website said to be close to the mayor of Tehran and former chief of the police forces, Mohammed Bagher Qalibaf.

Following the raid, Zarei stepped down from his post as police chief. The news of his arrest however was not reported by any official Iranian news agency.

According to a popular Iranian website Gooya, the order to raid the brothel was given directly by Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, chief of the judicial authorities.

Before he was arrested, Zarei was in charge of the programme for the 'moralisation of the city'.

It is alleged that in the past six months, hundreds of young people have been arrested in Iran for not respecting the Islamic code of behaviour.

I guess he took his "strip searches" literally. Mr. Morality, indeed.

Why Lord, Oh Why Did You Make The Jewish Girls So Hot?

The Muslims don't know, but the Infidels understand.

It's enough to make a Muslim man "humiliate the Prophet."

Dressed to kill
New immigrant to Israel tries to discover the secret of Israeli girls' hotness
Benji Lovitt

Shalom from Tel Aviv, English-speakers. Here in Israel, we’re preparing to kick off the celebration in honor of our first 60 years. This is the time to reflect on what this wonderful nation has offered the world: An inspiring story of national revival, innovative technology, great tourism, and of course, unprecedented Jewish hotness.

Holy cow…have you been to Tel Aviv? Here’s what I have to say about Israeli women:
“BUH-DAH-BUH-GOO-GOO!”

Look, people – there's no other way to say it: They’re hot. If this is news to you in the Diaspora, it’s time to visit (oh, and there’s that Kotel thing too).

When it comes to fashion and being “put together”, the women of Tel Aviv are without question as fashionable as those in any American or European city. Walk down the beautiful pedestrian boulevard of Rothschild and you’ll immediately know what I’m talking about. Imagine my surprise to learn that women dress for the office like they’re going out on the town. When I say “dressed to kill”, I’m not talking army uniforms.

Benji: “Hey, Dafna, what’s with the revealing outfit…hot date tonight?”

Sexy Jewess: “Ehhhhh….no. Shareholders' meeting. Why?”

Coming soon: The male evolvement With men, it’s a different story. I’m told the men here are pretty attractive as well, but as usual, they have some work to do to meet the standards set by the ladies. With warm weather quickly approaching, here’s a quick idiot’s guide to dressing like an Israeli male:
Step 1: Shave head.

Step 2: Grow 4 days’ worth of scruff. Not three. Not five. (Israeli men all possess the unique talent of always appearing like they just returned from their six month post-army hike in India. Man, they’re hot.)

Step 3: Put on at least one of the following articles of clothing:

• Baggy Thai fisherman’s pants (never, ever shorts) or tight European jeans
• Flip-flops
• T-shirt with English words which are inappropriate, make no sense, or are sexually suggestive. (Seriously, people here are obsessed with English and put on articles of clothing with a complete cluelessness about what they say. I saw a Russian grandmother wearing a shirt that said “Pimping Ain’t Easy”. Well, not with a walker it ain’t, grandma! These are your golden years! Take a load off!)

Step 4: Dressed? Great – I’ll see you at the beach. Or the office.

One great thing about living in Tel Aviv is that dress is so casual. I can’t even tell you the last time I wore a tie since moving here, if it’s even happened once. This makes for an interesting learning experience at your first Israeli wedding.

“Hey, who let the homeless guy in??? (Pause) Oh, that’s the groom??? How’s he gonna break the glass wearing Crocs?”

Okay, so maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, although I will say that it’s extremely hard to find a plain white dress-shirt that doesn’t have a dragon or some other design on the back. Future immigrants, bring white shirts with you. Forget the ties.

The secret: Mixing Now…you may have heard that high-tech is one of Israel’s biggest exports. What about its beauty? Heard of Bar Refaeli? Known by many as Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, she recently graced Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue. How about Galit Gutman, Esti Ginzburg, Moran Atias, or that Natalie actress girl? Did I mention my word limit? I’ll leave the Googling to you.

So why are Israelis so good-looking? In a word? Mixing. With immigrants from every corner of the world, Israel is a veritable genetics shmorgasbord of every kind of look and mix of cultures you can imagine.

Jews from Arab lands, the former Soviet Union, South America, Europe, etc. – the diversity in this country is simply unbelievable. I imagine Emeril from The Food Channel in the kitchen: "Two spoons of Ashkenazis...two spoons of Sephardis...a touch of Ethiopian...some olive oil...and BAM! Dizengoff Center!!!”

Jokes aside, I’ve always found myself attracted to Israelis and not because of what’s on the outside. Growing up in America, I always felt such a strong sense of pride, awe, and amazement towards my Israeli peers. While I spent my college years scarfing down pizzas, memorizing “SportsCenter” catchphrases (“Booyah!”), and generally acting like a doofus (what else is college for?), they were serving in the army and defending the state of Israel while speaking about it all matter-of-factly, as if this type of thing is completely normal and goes without saying (which it pretty much does in Israel).

For all these reasons, there’s just nothing more attractive to me than hearing someone speak Hebrew. You can have your Italian or South American accent…I’ll take the language of the Jews anytime.

Whatever beauty you’re looking for in a partner, this country has it, both inside and out.

Iraqi Army continues their fight & Sadr threatens war

Artillery fire and bomb blasts shook a militia-held district in the southern city of Basra today as U.S. and British forces backed up Iraqi troops launching a new offensive in the area.

"JAM tried to prevent them from entering, but fierce air strikes enabled the Iraqi Army to take over control of the main streets and roads in Hayaniyah," one witness said.

Hyaniyah has been surrounded by Iraqi forces for several days, but today's actions marked the first time they had attempted to take over the neighborhood.

Meanwhile,

Muqtada al-Sadr, the Iraqi Shia Muslim leader, has threatened to declare "open war" if a security crackdown by Iraqi and US forces against his loyalists is not called off.

He said in a statement on Saturday that he was giving a final warning to the Shia-led Iraqi government "to take the path of peace and stop violence against its own people".

"If it does not stop the militias that have infiltrated the government, then we will declare a war until liberation," he said.

Al-Sadr also accused the Iraqi government of being too close to the US military.

I say, "bring it on". Maybe then, Iraq will finally get rid of this parasite.

Now let’s see. How much more can we coddle Muslim terrorist in jail. We give them a prayer rug, directions to face Mecca, halal food, air-conditioned rooms, their own personal Mein Kampf (the Koran) – let’s see, what else to make them feel punished for their dastardly deeds?

Oh, yeah, unrestricted access to the Internet to plot attacks on the infidels from inside jail.

Sue Myrick's Ten-Point Plan To Tackle Domestic Islamists, Starting With CAIR

Representative Sue Myrick is amazing. She's like a one-woman wrecking crew against the Flying Monkeys of Islam:

Rep. Sue Myrick wants America to "wake up" and stop allowing terrorism to proliferate --

and if that means revoking the passport of a former U.S. president or examining the preaching of prison chaplains, that's what she's prepared to do.

The Charlotte Republican on Friday released a list of 10 items she hopes will help peel back the layers on how radical elements of Islam might be infiltrating the military, school rooms and other elements of society. She also wants to stop the government from supporting terrorist organizations through financial investments and military sales.

Earlier this week, she called for President Jimmy Carter's passport to be revoked because he met with Hamas, a Palestinian group that the U.S. government says supports terrorism.

The co-founder of the House anti-terrorism caucus has spent an increasing amount of time trying to tackle what she views as threats posed at home by extremists, an issue that fuels her commitment to deporting illegal immigrants.

One candidate who's trying to prevent her re-election this year, Democrat Harry Taylor of Charlotte, has questioned her priorities and said she has spent too little time fixing the health-care system, solving the energy crisis and helping her constituents' every-day lives.
Myrick said her views are in sync with her district's.

"When I talk to them at home about this stuff, they get it," she said of her terrorism concerns. "It's just that it is complicated. People would rather watch `American Idol.' "

Among her goals is to investigate Muslim military and prison chaplains who were endorsed by a man now in prison for funding terrorism, and examine the nonprofit status of an organization partially funded by Saudis.

That group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, says her assumptions are wrong.

"It sounds like your usual laundry list of talking points you can see on anti-Muslim hate sites on the Internet," said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Washington-based Islamic civil rights and advocacy group.

Though she's steadfast, Myrick has said in the past that she understands some folks might view her concerns that terrorists are infiltrating the United States as over the top, but that she bases her work on research and the advice of experts.

"This could all sound fanatical if people don't know about it," she said in an interview with the Observer a few months ago. "I'm not a radical person."

Political science professor Ted Arrington of UNC Charlotte said she should be applauded for tackling a tough issue. It's up to others, he said, to judge whether she's doing it in a way that plays on people's fears.

Myrick's 10-point plan

1. Investigate all military chaplains endorsed by Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was imprisoned for funding a terrorist organization.

2. Investigate all prison chaplains endorsed by Alamoudi.

3. Investigate the selection process of Arabic translators working for the Pentagon and FBI.

4. Examine the nonprofit status of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

5. Make it an act of sedition or solicitation of treason to preach or publish materials that call for the deaths of Americans.

6. Audit sovereign wealth funds in the United States.

7. Cancel scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia until they reform their text books, which she claims preach hatred and violence against non-Muslims.

8. Restrict religious visas for imams who come from countries that don't allow reciprocal visits by non-Muslim clergy.

9. Cancel contracts to train Saudi police and security in U.S. counterterrorism tactics.

10. Block the sale of sensitive military munitions to Saudi Arabia.

Rest here>>>

Bravo!

Sharia law itself calls for death to the Infidel (if we don't convert or pay the Jizya Dhimmi-tax), so advocating Sharia law itself is sedition.

I hope Sue Myrick eventually adds that to her list.

Controlled Demolitions At The Home Of UK Terror Suspect

Just the other day, British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told reporters that British police and intelligence were monitoring over 22,000 terror suspects, and 30 active terror plots.

I guess they decided this one was far enough along that they had better intervene.

For the past couple of days, British police have been combing through the home of Andrew Ibrahim and finding things they feel they need to blow up, before those things blow up themselves.

I guess that would be bombs, right?

From Sky News:

A second controlled explosion will be carried out at the Bristol home of a terror suspect overnight, Avon and Somerset Police have said.

Sky sources said the man arrested before a controlled explosion at the house is Andrew Ibrahim. Police have been granted extra time to question him.

About 30 people were removed from 14 neighbouring homes in Westbury-on-Trym as the blast took place at the 19-year-old's home.

Avon and Somerset assistant chief constable Jackie Roberts said they had been granted a further seven days to question the man who was arrested on Thursday.

She said the suspect is being questioned at an undisclosed police station.

Ms Roberts told a news conference that residents were regularly being kept informed of developments.

She did not rule out further arrests but refused to identify the suspect or his ethnicity.

Shocked neighbours told how they woke up at around 2am on Friday after hearing the blast - one said it was so loud it sounded like a plane crashing.

Sky News home affairs correspondent Mark White said it was not yet known whether the suspect was working alone or with others.

He added: "We should get an indication later of what materials there might have been at the house.

"There will be an immense public appetite for knowing what went on at that address."

Ms Roberts said the investigation also involved the Metropolitan Police and followed a "number of covert inquiries".

She added: "This is likely to be a prolonged, complex and sensitive inquiry which may take some time."

Police would not reveal what sort of materials were blown up.

The house, in Comb Paddock, a cul-de-sac on the border of the Southmead area of Bristol, is likely to be cordoned off for the remainder of the day.

Ms Roberts added: "We would like to reassure people that this arrest has been made to prevent harm."

Locals said the man under arrest had not been in the house long but described him as polite.

One said he was heavily built and often seen wearing traditional Muslim dress and carrying a satchel.

Inspector Mark Jackson said the evacuated residents were taken to a nearby hotel for the night, and he hoped to return them to their homes as soon as possible.

The suspect can be held for up to 28 days under terror laws.

On the Run from Islamic "Family Honor"

This story is excerpted from an article titled "Running Scared" in the March 2008 British edition of Cosmopolitan.

As 'Zena' walks home from the shop where she works, she takes in the
scene around her. It's an ordinary day, but... she clocks everything about her
surroundings -- number plates on passing cars, a man at the bus stop, two women
chatting... in the pub window. She's walking briskly, too; if she's even a few
minutes late home, her husband Jack will start to worry.

Zena, 37, a British Muslim, is one of the many women in the UK who has
taken the extreme measure of changing her identity. She and Jack... have lived
as runaways since Zena refused to be forced into an arranged marriage when she
was 21.

By her own account, Zena grew up in a home filled not with fear and abuse, but with laughter and affection. "My family meant everything to me... My sisters and I were real daddy's girls. We always felt he would protect us... " While adhering to Muslim "cultural" strictures against pubs and nightclubs, the large family of siblings invited friends over for pizza and dancing to Michael Jackson and Madonna. "The house was always noisy and full of laughter."

But in the back of her mind, Zena knew she was expected to submit to a marriage arranged by her parents.

In 1992 Zena met 'Jack', who is English and non-Muslim, and the two fell in love. They started meeting in secret. But Zena's parents had already chosen her future husband. So one morning before dawn Zena sneaked out of the house and eloped with Jack. Several days later Zena called her "loving family", hoping to persuade them to accept her marriage to Jack.

My brother answered and said I had brought shame on the family, that we were
both walking corpses and our bodies would end up in several bin liners. He said
they'd send a bounty hunter to track us down.

Zena and Jack were granted 'nationally sensitive' status by the police, in which their birth names and all traces of their past were wiped off government records. They have changed their identities twice more and moved more than 30 times. Even Jack has been forced to limit his contact with his own family. She and Jack live the lives of fugitives.

I have six different routes to get home from work so there's less chance of me
being followed. We know it takes seven seconds for someone to get from the front
door to our bedroom, so I've got enough time to get out of the window
.

Zena mourns the loss of her large family. "Knowing that they want me killed is devastating," she says. She has not spoken with any family member in the 15 years of her marriage, and does not even know if her parents are still alive. And she will never have a family of her own, since it would be dangerous and unfair to bring a child into their fugitive lives. But she has no other regrets. "There are days when it's tough, but it's all been worth it. Despite our troubles, we rarely argue -- we know we're stronger if we face them together. I never tire of having only Jack in my life... I love him and know I've done the right thing. I would do it again tomorrow in a heartbeat."

The website JoinHunt4Yasser, devoted to the capture of Yasser Said, who murdered his daughters Amina and Sarah in Texas in December 2007, posts this January, 2003, quote from "Al Skudsi bin Hookah, roving reporter and foreign correspondent for The Gaza Gajeera."

Our way of life is under attack. And we are not fighting back. Deep
down, we know that when a woman has disgraced her family, nothing will restore
honor except by killing her. This is understood in Jordan, Syria, Yemen,
Lebanon, Egypt, the Gaza strip and the West Bank. So why are we Arabs telling
the Western press that honor killing is cultural, that it is not really part of
Islam? Our way of life is based on maintaining our honor. And make no mistake
about it: a woman does tarnish her family's honor by engaging in pre-marital
sex, or by getting herself raped, when she seeks divorce and when she marries
against her family's wishes.

There are millions of men like bin Hookah who believe women are their property, that they hold the power of life and death over them and have the final say in how they will conduct their lives. Fortunately, in Western culture such men are a small minority. But if bin Hookah is right, they are the majority in Islamic culture. And their "way of life" creeps nearer with every concession to Muslim "cultural sensitivity".

Protecting A UK "Asian"

(Hat-tip to Aeneas)

Jamie Bauld, who has Down's Syndrome and the mental age of five, was investigated for assault and the crime of racial hate after a minor incident on the campus of Motherwell College in Lanarkshire.

Excerpt from this article at the Times Online:
Jamie, 18, cannot tie his shoelaces or leave home on his own, nor can he understand simple verbal concepts such as whether a door is open or shut. But his parents said that he was charged with attacking a fellow student, an Asian girl who also had special needs.

[...]

The incident in question took place last September at the special needs department of Motherwell College, in Lanarkshire, where Jamie is a student. Fiona Bauld, Jamie’s mother and full-time carer, claimed that the Asian student, who is only slightly older than Jamie, had been following her son and staring at him. Jamie had earlier complained to his parents that her behaviour scared him, and they had advised him just to walk away.

But one day, his mother said, the girl came close up to Jamie as he was eating lunch. He pushed her with one hand and told her to go away....
Not an unusual action from one with Down's Syndrome, but his rejection of her led to charges of lawbreaking, in part because the "Asian" girl
had scratched her own face to mark it and referred to herself as “blackface”.
The police at first told the Baulds that no legal consequences would occur.

That's not how the situation worked out.

For over seven months, Jamie and his parents endured the legal ordeal. Finally, the charges were dismissed:
Mrs Bauld said: “The incident was blown out of all proportion. I can’t believe that two special needs people should be dealt with like this. The whole thing was handled so badly.”
Here is a picture of Jamie and his mother:

Apparently, Jamie's mental age isn't enough to prevent an insulted Muslim from finding a way to make an infidel's life miserable. After all, an infidel touched a muslima. Can't have that!

The fear and anxiety which Jamie endured are inexcusable. Jamie did understand that he was in some kind of trouble. From this article in the Daily Mail:
[O]ne night shortly after Christmas, as the family watched TV, Fiona realised to her horror that Jamie was not as oblivious as she'd hoped.

A scene featuring a prison appeared on screen, at which point Jamie said quietly: "I don't want to go to jail, Mum. Please don't let them take me away." He then burst into tears.

"I rushed over, put my arms around him and told him everything was going to be fine," says Fiona.

"All through this nightmare I've done my best to put on a smile and act normally around Jamie, simply to protect him from everything that was happening. But that night, as he sobbed in my arms, I wasn't sure everything would be OK.

"My worst fear was that Jamie would be taken away somewhere that I wouldn't be able to protect him. I said: 'Jamie, you're not going to prison', but I found myself in tears, too."

When Fiona - who lives in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, with her husband James, 46, a telecommunications contractor, and their daughter Stephanie, 17 - uses the word "nightmare" she is making no understatement.
It is the insane climate of political correctness which led to a legal and emotional situation which should never have transpired at all.

Condoleezza Rice Opposed Israeli Attack On Syrian Nuke Facility

After being presented with "jaw-dropping evidence" of Syrian nuclear activity, Condi Rice opposed action?

WTF?!??

From Atlas Shrugs:

"She is so screwed up that she thinks a nuclear Syria is not destabilizing but stopping them is. Anyone want to guess why America hasn’t taken on Iran’s nuclear plans?"

Condoleezza Rice opposed Israel’s attack on Syrian nuclear site Times online

A MYSTERIOUS Israeli military strike on a suspected nuclear site in Syria last month was opposed by Condoleezza Rice, the American secretary of state, because she feared it would destabilise the region, according to a report this weekend.

Rice persuaded the Israelis to delay their operation, but not to call it off, after US officials were presented with “jaw-dropping” evidence of Syrian nuclear activity, the report said.

The Sunday Times revealed two weeks ago that Israeli commandos had seized samples of nuclear material, said to be of North Korean origin, during a daring raid on a Syrian military facility to prove to the Americans that an air attack was essential.

According to ABC News, Rice led the opposition inside the Bush administration to the Israeli strike, persuading them to shelve initial plans to hit the Syrian facility in the week of July 14.
The nuclear samples seized by ground commandos remain unidentified, but defence and intelligence sources in Washington believe they may have been connected to uranium enrichment.

Ilan Berman, a Middle East expert at the American Foreign Policy Council, said: “The consensus is that Israel struck a nuclear facility and the probability is that it was linked to enriching uranium.”
