The University of Michigan would not explain how it is responding to death threats and racial epithets that were reportedly issued by pro-Palestinian activists at students who oppose a resolution to divest from Israel.

University of Michigan police were first contacted last week after two pro-Palestinian activists shouted “threats of violence” at a student who refused to support their boycott initiative during a “sit-in” at the student government’s headquarters.

The Washington Free Beacon has further learned that the pro-Israel student received death threats and that others have allegedly been called “kikes” and “dirty Jews” by backers of the virulently anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which aims to delegitimize the Jewish state through economic means.

The atmosphere of intimidation and violence could leave the University of Michigan vulnerable to legal action and political retribution on a national scale, according to multiple sources in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere who are monitoring the situation.

Kenneth Marcus, a former staff director at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, told the Free Beacon that he has contacted high-level university officials to discuss the situation but that these calls have yet to be returned.

In addition to the death threats made against one pro-Israel student, Marcus has been informed that other “students have been called ‘kike’ and ‘dirty Jew’ and other epithets.”

“This is a very disturbing incident and if the students’ allegations are true, this is an environment that is hostile to Jewish students and the university has a legal responsibility to take prompt and effective action,” said Marcus, who serves as president and general counsel of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law.

Marcus, like the Free Beacon, has not been able to get answers from university officials.

“Our biggest concern is these Jewish students might be vulnerable to a violent criminal attack, and we’re very concerned about whether the university is taking that seriously enough,” he said. “If the worst happens there is substantial liability for the university.”

“Even short of that, if the university allows a hostile environment to form without taking effective action, it could be liable for a civil lawsuit or federal investigation” by the Department of Education, Marcus said. “If Jewish students are being called ‘kike’ and ‘dirty Jew’ and the university is not addressing it in a firm and effective way, the university may be liable under federal law.”

The university has been under fire from campus activists and others since at least December when it was accused of taking inadequate action after pro-Palestinian activists posted 1,500 anti-Israel “eviction” notices on the doors of pro-Israel students and Jews. The campaign appears to be coordinated by national and international groups hostile to Israel, as well as by University of Michigan groups.

Senior pro-Israel leaders in Washington, D.C. have been closely monitoring the situation and say they are gearing up to take action.

“The University of Michigan has allowed known pro-Hamas activists to openly organize riots on their campus and create an environment in which pro-Israel students had their lives threatened,” said one high-level official with a prominent pro-Israel organization.

“Now, after months of watching outside groups coordinate hateful stunts, university administrators are allowing students to be bullied into taking an anti-Israel vote with a gun pointed to their heads,” added the source. “They’ll have to answer for this, certainly politically and probably legally.”

The BDS brouhaha first began earlier this month when the school’s student government overwhelmingly suspended consideration of a divestment resolution. That prompted the pro-Palestinian group Students Allied for Freedom and Equality to hold protests on campus and inside student government chambers.

On Wednesday evening of last week during one of these sit-ins, a student opposed to the BDS resolution had “threats of violence” shouted at him by two “Arabic males,” according to a police report filed that evening.

University officials in recent days have helped broker a deal that led to an apologyfrom the student government’s president for tabling the divestment initiative. The university has helped ensure that the initiative comes to a vote in the coming days.

University of Michigan spokesman Rick Fitzgerald—who first said that he did not understand a reporter’s questions—declined multiple requests to comment on the death threats and violent rhetoric from activists, saying that the school encourages “students to report them to police.”

Fitzgerald—who adopted an incredulous tone when faced with questions—additionally refused to connect a Free Beacon reporter with the university’s provost or other high-level officials, saying that the issue does not rise to the level of their involvement.

“This is activism of students with their student government,” he said. The BDS activists “do not believe their voices were heard.”

Fitzgerald said that the university would not take an official position on the BDS issue.Scores of other university presidents and academic groups have flatly rejected the movement in recent months.

“The university has not been advocating any position,” Fitzgerald said, adding that there are “heated emotions on both sides.”

The Free Beacon could not find any instances of pro-Israel students engaging in violent rhetoric, threatening other students, or using racial epithets.

“At this point we have been working to bring our students together to respect each other’s point of view and resolve their differences,” Fitzgerald said.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s associate dean, said that the university must take more aggressive action and denounce publicly all violent rhetoric.

BDS supporters must be “held accountable when they cross the line,” Cooper said. “At a minimum, it demands a statement from the university” and the “failure to do that is something that would be cause for serious national attention.”

“This is a threat to someone’s civil rights and its important for the adults in the room to indicate to the university that they should not marginalize our kids,” Cooper said. “That kind of language does not have a place in campus life.”

The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found. 

Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat.

Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded ‘totally unacceptable.’

At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s Dispatches discovered.

The programme, which will air tonight, found that parents who lose children in early pregnancy were often treated without compassion and were not consulted about what they wanted to happen to the remains.

One of the country’s leading hospitals, Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge, incinerated 797 babies below 13 weeks gestation at their own ‘waste to energy’ plant. The mothers were told the remains had been ‘cremated.’
Another ‘waste to energy’ facility at Ipswich Hospital, operated by a private contractor, incinerated 1,101 foetal remains between 2011 and 2013.
They were brought in from another hospital before being burned, generating energy for the hospital site. Ipswich Hospital itself disposes of remains by cremation.
“This practice is totally unacceptable,” said Dr Poulter.
“While the vast majority of hospitals are acting in the appropriate way, that must be the case for all hospitals and the Human Tissue Authority has now been asked to ensure that it acts on this issue without delay.”
Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director, has written to all NHS trusts to tell them the practice must stop.
The Chief Medical Officer, Dame Sally Davies, has also written to the Human Tissue Authority to ask them make sure that guidance is clear.
And the Care Quality Commission said it would investigate the programme's findings.
Prof Sir Mike Richards, Chief Inspector of Hospitals, said: “I am disappointed trusts may not be informing or consulting women and their families.
“This breaches our standard on respecting and involving people who use services and I’m keen for Dispatches to share their evidence with us.
“We scrutinise information of concern and can inspect unannounced, if required.”
A total of one in seven pregnancies ends in a miscarriage, while NHS figures show there are around 4,000 stillbirths each year in the UK, or 11 each day.
Ipswich Hospital Trust said it was concerned to discover that foetal remains from another hospital had been incinerated on its site.
A spokeswoman said: “The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust does not incinerate foetal remains.”
She added that the trust “takes great care over foetal remains”
A spokesman for the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said that trained health professionals discuss the options with parents ‘both verbally and in writing.’
"The parents are given exactly the same choice on the disposal of foetal remains as for a stillborn child and their personal wishes are respected,” they added.

Epstein's sexual exploits have been documented since 2005, when a woman in Palm Beach contacted police saying that her 14-year-old daughter had been paid $300 to massage him and then have sex... 

The claim prompted a nearly year-long investigation that led to the eventual charge of soliciting prostitution which came as part of a plea deal. He spent 13 months of a 18-month sentence in jail and remains a registered sex offender.

Jewish control of the media is preventing an open discussion of the Holocaust, prominent Hollywood director Oliver Stone told the Sunday Times, adding that the U.S. Jewish lobby was controlling Washington's foreign policy for years. 

In the Sunday interview, Stone reportedly said U.S. public opinion was focused on the Holocaust as a result of the "Jewish domination of the media," adding that an upcoming film of him aims to put Adolf Hitler and Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin "in context." 

"There's a major lobby in the United States," Stone said, adding that "they are hard workers. They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington." 

The famed Hollywood director of such films as "Platoon" and "JFK," also said that while "Hitler was a Frankenstein," there was also a "Dr Frankenstein." "German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support," Stone told the Sunday Times, adding that "Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people, 25 or 30 [million killed]." 

Referring to the alleged influence of the powerful Jewish lobby on U.S. foreign policy, Stone said that Israel had distorted "United States foreign policy for years," adding he felt U.S. policy toward Iran was "horrible." 

"Iran isn't necessarily the good guy," Stone said, insisting that Americans did not "know the full story." Stone's comments to the Sunday times echo previous remarks by the Hollywood director, regarding what he perceives as the distorted view of figures such as Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin in U.S. media. 

Earlier this year, Stone, speaking at the at the Television Critics Association's semi-annual press tour in Pasadena said that "Hitler is an easy scapegoat throughout history and it's been used cheaply." 

"He's the product of a series of actions. It's cause and effect ... People in America don't know the connection between World War I and World War II," Stone said, adding that through his documentary work he has been able to "walk in Stalin's shoes and Hitler's shoes to understand their point of view." 

"We're going to educate our minds and liberalize them and broaden them. We want to move beyond opinions ... Go into the funding of the Nazi party. How many American corporations were involved, from GM through IBM. Hitler is just a man who could have easily been assassinated," Stone said.

Now, CNN has dropped the word "left" from the phrase, and changed it to "sharp turn".

Sorry that I sound like I'm pushing some sort of conspiracy theory. But what we're being told simply does not make sense to me.

Here's what I understand:

The plane took off from Malaysia, and flew Northeast.

The "sharp, left turn, we had been told about for at least a week, set the plane on a course through waypoints that took it towards the Middle East.

According to Hafez El Salmawy, managing director of the Egyptian Electric Regulatory Agency, Egypt will lack at least 20% of the natural gas it needs to properly power its electricity plants this summer. As energy usage spikes in the heat, these outages will become longer and more frequent.

The new president, widely expected to be popular army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, will take office as the worst months kick in. His toughest challenge will be dealing with disgruntled citizens as they struggle through blackouts and fuel shortages; these same problems contributed to the downfall of President Mohammed Morsi, the very man Sisi overthrew last July.

In desperation, the state-owned Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) is turning to Israel, a former export destination of Egyptian gas. Egypt lost an estimated $10 billion selling underpriced natural gas to Israel, Jordan and Spain between 2005 and 2011, according to a new report by the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights. The sales to Israel alone cost the country over $1 billion, estimated Mika Minio-Paluello, an energy researcher and one of the report’s authors.

Corrupt businessmen, including convicted Egyptian tycoon Hussein Salem, colluded with the state under ousted autocrat Hosni Mubarak to bypass normal bidding processes and secure the lucrative contracts.

But just two years after Egypt canceled the unpopular 20-year export deal, the Egyptian government is looking to buy Israel’s newly discovered natural gas for at least four times the price. A drilling consortium led by Israeli company Delek Group Ltd. and Texas-based Noble Energy are currently in talks with companies in Egypt after signing a historic gas deal with Jordan that will provide it with 1.8 billion cubic meters (63.6 billion cubic feet) a year for 15 years.

But the Egyptian deal could be four times that, with as much as 8 billion cubic meters (282.5 billion cubic feet) a year piped to Egypt, both Egyptian and Israeli sources told Al-Monitor. The deal makes sense as the direction gas travels in the existing pipeline can be reversed, one official at Delek Group Ltd. said.

The prices are expected to match Jordan’s $6.60 per million British thermal unit (btu), four times what Egypt received for the gas it exported to Israel.

Karen Lewis, president of the Chicago Teachers Union, spoke at the Network for Public

Education conference in Austin, Texas, recently and implored her audience of public educators to promote social justice by politicizing math.

Giving a nod to her fellow Milwaukee Teachers Union president and liberal activist pal Bob Peterson, Lewis explained how to promote social justice in math word problems, such as changing “Johnny” to “José” and instead of writing ”Johnny buys some pencils,” change it to, “José works in a factory.”

Lewis said:

You want to talk about organizing? You want to talk about social justice? Can I just use a Bob Peterson story, a quick one?

People always talk about that there’s no politics and values in math — that you can teach math and there’s no place for social justice. So let me tell you how Bob deals with that. Everyone has seen that story problem that says, “Johnny has five pencils and if he spent two cents for the red pencil, then eight cents for the green pencils and he’s got 47 cents, how many pencils can he buy?” We’ve all seen that, right? That’s a very political statement because it’s all about consumerism. It’s about buying stuff, right?

Bob Peterson tells them about José working in a factory making piecemeal clothes. He uses the same numbers and gets the same answer. And yes, math is political, too. Sisters and brothers, don’t fall for the okey doke. Don’t let people tell you there’s one way to do anything.

Peterson — seen here rallying Chicago teachers — contributed to a book entitled, “Rethinking Mathematics: Teaching Social Justice by the Numbers.” EAGnews.org says, “The book is a mix of math lesson plans and essays from activist educators who explain how they’ve used their classrooms to advance a progressive political philosophy.”

It is reported that two main themes emerge: “the U.S. is a hopelessly racist country that routinely oppresses ‘people of color’ and “capitalism’s unequal distribution of wealth is the root cause of the world’s suffering.”

As the “Rethinking” teachers demonstrate, the math concepts of ratios, averages, percentages, bar graphs, density and geometric formulas are very useful when training kids to see the world in their preferred categories of ‘haves’ and ‘have nots.’

Lewis and Peterson are in cahoots, and with other social justice activists and educators, are gunning to shape the minds of America’s youth. They are in our schools and will stop at nothing to cram their agenda into daily school “lessons.”

So, wonder what the result of this BLATANT socialist, communist dialectic, apocalyptic means of making every single item of daily life into a lesson in political thought of social justice?

“Russia 24” TV Channel host Evelina Zakamska said that the Jews themselves “brought the Holocaust around”. 

The remark was made during the interview with a Russian writer Oleksandr Prokhanov. 

The participants of the program touched upon the topic of the Euromaidan in Ukraine.

In connection to this Prokhanov said on the air: “It’s surprising that Jewish and Russian organizations support Maidan. What are they doing? Don’t they understand that they are bringing around a second Holocaust with their own hands?”

The host responded: “They were bringing around the first one in just the same way”.
