Something very like this from CNBC's John Harwood:
"Parents who object to the President speaking to schoolchildren aren't able to raise their children very effectively."For God's sake. This is what the majority of Americans accept as news and words from an expert.
1. The mainstream media will not say anything negative about BHO's power grab and appointees. See Epa's post below.
2. Having concerns about "The One" means that you are an unfit parent.
Get the picture?
The liberals, the deluded utopian socialists: Followers of Dear Leader can wait until 2010.
ReplyDeleteUntil then, there is a line in the sand that neither I nor my family, nor my friends will cross. That's it.
Unfit? Come to my home and explain it to me, you state-run media freaks.
By all these standards, I am indeed
ReplyDeleteUNFIT TO RAISE CHILDREN IN THIS BRAVE NEW WORLD
It's 1969 ...

Good Morning Always!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone question why HOMESCHOOLING has had exponential growth in the past 30 years?...
Some of us saw this before it was so apparent...(A-PARENT)!
OK-I'm going to use "a-parent" for an homeschool 'take' on my site :-)
C-CS
Wow, that comes out of this guy's mouth with such ease. He has no doubts about himself for having said something so Totalitarian in nature. He is a sick parody of 1984 and he doesn't even have a clue.
ReplyDeleteCS,
ReplyDeleteI look for homeschooling to be a target soon.
BTW, home birth is a way to avoid getting on the state's radar. Just sayin'
AOW,
ReplyDeleteI never thought about that.
Careful with that, though. Had my wife not gone to a hospital, she would have died for sure, and it is likely my daughter would have also died.
I am highly offended by this man's comments. I have it on my DVR and I just watched it again. Disgusting... UNFIT??? How dare he! I am the parent. I am a filter for my children until they can develop their own. I have the right to filter out the cult of personality nonsense Obama wants to feed my boys. Thankfully, my public school system will NOT be showing this on Tuesday. We have curricula to teach (also a public school teacher in this same system), and we don't have time to waste on stuff that should be broadcast in prime time so parents and children can watch TOGETHER and discuss as a family.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Joejup.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly sound like a responsible parent to me. But, of course, this CNBC maniac would say your are unfit.
Pastorius,
ReplyDeleteI know someone who kept her child off the state's records because of the home birth. Such wasn't her intent, but it was the outcome.
I can't violate confidentiality by giving exact details as to why the boy's being off the state's radar saved him down the line.
Joejup,
ReplyDeleteI don't have a DVR. **sigh**
AOW,
ReplyDeleteI like the idea, very much.
