Way The Fuck Over The Line (sticky, scroll for newer)

The TSA goons decide to strip search this little boy. Not in private, but in public in full view of any and all to see. And film, apparently. At least whoever filmed it was somewhat discreet.

But why did the father even let this happen? Had this been me and my 12 year old daughter, they would have been arresting me. And for far worse than refusing a search or simple assault.

I know it fouls up plans, you lose money. But why didn't the father just flip them off and walk out? Why didn't any other passengers say whoa, enough, you're out of line?

A cop cannot just stop you on the street and demand he pat you down, nor pull you over and insist he search your car without probable cause. The FBI cannot insist they come into your home and serarch it without a warrant which cannot be obtained without probable cause.

Yet that is exactly what the TSA is allowed to do. Assume everyone is up to no good until proven otherwise. In the name of security they are allowed to do things that would be thrown out in a criminal trial and probably get the cop fired. And it is not making us any safer.

America is becoming so cowed by government intrusiveness and invasion of our lives that we no longer even defend our children from what is tantamount to assualt, and sexual sssault at that. Afraid of what they might do. We're not even recognizing it as wrong. Numbed down and dumbed down to thinking THIS is the new normal and it's ok even though unsavory.

So, all you idiots who see nothing wrong with this, if we don't say stop, enough and draw the line now then how long until it becomes commonplace throughout all facets of our lives? How long until you think you've given up too much liberty for little to no security?

description from the person who filmed it:

Lets get the facts straight first. Before the video started the boy went through a metal detector and didn't set it off but was selected for a pat down. The boy was shy so the TSA couldn't complete the full pat on the young boy. The father tried several times to just hold the boys arms out for the TSA agent but i guess it didn't end up being enough for the guy. I was about 30 ft away so i couldn't hear their conversation if there was any. The enraged father pulled his son shirt off and gave it to the TSA agent to search, thats when this video begins.

TSA employment website lists a "Office of Civil Rights" page.

"Our Office of Civil Rights and Liberties ensures all employees and the public are treated in a fair and lawful manner without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, parental status OR GENETIC INFORMATION. With a zero tolerance for harassment, illegal discrimination and retaliation, our office helps the agency recognize and respect the social and cultural backgrounds of our employee and customers. These efforts ultimately improve our nation's security."

"OR GENETIC INFORMATION"?

As the TSA moves away from the RapeScan & Hands On Prostheses and Medical appliance Molestations, expect them to progress to FDA pre-approved human RFID tagging (CAIR will ensure to opt out).

Hey, how can I get a job with the TSA?

Pastorius,

Didn't the TSA also recently agree to let Muslim women do a self pat down? Seriously, that defeat the whole purpose of the pat down, yet they have the gal to strip search a little boy? What?!!

Could he walk out?

I thought that once an individual passed a certain point in the screening that he couldn't just walk out.

Had this been me and my 12 year old daughter, they would have been arresting me. And for far worse than refusing a search or simple assault.

Admirable and what SHOULD happen -- resistance, I mean. But then who takes custody of that child at that moment in time?

Give this TSA a pass on doing this crap for a few years, and many young people won't know that anything else was ever the norm.

AOW,
You said: Give this TSA a pass on doing this crap for a few years, and many young people won't know that anything else was ever the norm.

I say: That's the best argument I have heard against this TSA crap thus far.

"I thought that once an individual passed a certain point in the screening that he couldn't just walk out."

That's true and what kind of tyrannical shit is that.

Let's say you actually agree to their porno picture screening and )likethis kid) they decide you need further groping/screening.

From what I understand they are supposed to limit themselves to screening whatever they thought needed a second look i.e. something around your neck? Remove the scarf and they are supposed to stop there. But that doesn't seem to be what is happening.

So let's say you have a prosthetic breast or whatever and you are not comfortable either dropping your frawers or removing your blouse, or have them search your daughter's training bra, whatever, and would rather lose the airfare and leave.

You can't.

Yet you've broken no law.

But if you leave you will be arrested. Although you've broken no law.

So, are you being held against your will? Are you being told that unless you submit to a strip search or group grope you will be punished?

When it comes to your own body anymore doesn't NO mean NO? Isn't that what we've been teaching our daughters and sons all these years? When it comes to YOUR body YOU are in control. If someone touches you and you don't think it's appropriate tell them to stop.

Unless, of course, it's government goons in the name of security.

This amounts to state sanctioned rape or sexual assault without the penetration.

Now, as far as who takes custody of the child in the event of resistance. Probably the cops but at that point the screening/pat down would be over.

If a cop stopped you on the street with your kid and insisted they remove their shirt, forces them to remove their shirt, on the street, you would let them do it?

Any cop would be fired for that. After he was out of the hospital.

The child is mine. Their safety and well being are ultimately mine. You touch him or her without my consent when he or I have broken no law and I don't care who you are, I will fuck you up.

"Give this TSA a pass on doing this crap for a few years, and many young people won't know that anything else was ever the norm."

Exactly what I meant by numbed down and dumbed down.

At what point have we come to if the choice is either assault the person or allow the person to assault my child? Be arrested for deciding to go home or allow ourselves to be assualted?

This slope is slipperier than most want to admit.

I hope that I run into someone that I know is a TSA goon on a dark street someday.....paybacks are a bi*ch! People need to start memorizing car makes, models and license plate numbers of these a**holes. Then, start acting like french youths...

Gregory,

I know how you feel, but don't do anything stupid or illegal. Things are bad enough as it is, and two wrongs will not make a right.

Will this administration defend that strip search of that boy? Has anybody heard anything about that?

And if this administration will not condemn that strip search, what are we going to DO about that lack of condemnation?

Always On Watch said...

Hey. Who gave the order to strip search that boy?

None of the media is carrying it. All we have is what the person who videoed it wrote. Lots of similar comments on Freerepublic etc.

Get this thing viral so it CAN'T be ignored.
