Can Islam be defeated by the end of the century?

In one of his newest public addresses, the Israeli prime minister has said that to defeat Islamofascism could take decades:

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spelled out his long term vision for the coming century in his speech to the President's Conference Thursday. In it, he said that militant Islam will be defeated by the end of the century, and that in the intervening decades, the challenge before the free countries is to prevent rogue states from developing weapons of mass destruction.

We can only hope this is so, but until then, there's more than just the need to stop these autocracies from building nuclears, there's also the need to stop Islamofascists from destroying democracies from within, as is happening in Europe right now, and even in other countries around the world. And that too is something that could take a long time to deal with properly.
