I like Pat Metheney&#...I like that guy's sound. I like Pat Metheney's music, but I have never liked his sound. And since he's such an enormous influence on so many guitarists, I don't like a lot of what I hear from Jazz Guitarists.<br /><br />But this I like. He's ambient without being sweet, and without having it overwhelm the notes he plays.<br /><br />John Abercrombie used to be good at this too, back in the late-70's early-80's.
