All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Not Exactly An IBA Post
I know this is not a traditional IBA post, but it kind of is.
At any rate, I'll keep it short.
As a very proud Infidel, that celebrates Christmas, I have some thoughts about tolerance on our holiday.
Christmas is an interesting holiday.
You have two holidays to celebrate.
The Christian Holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus, and the not so Christian Holiday with Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty the Snowman.

Celebrating one's own holiday is not an insult to other religions.
ReplyDeleteOur TINY differences make us vibrant.
Creches in a town square are a celebration, not a cause for insult. Likewise a Menorah.
Too much of our lives are spent on guard looking for offense, and guarding against it.
Everybody's tawhid should be greeting us all ESPECIALLY on our holidays, and it's a shame when it's not.
