"I've asked why nobody saw it coming," Ms. Rice said, speaking of her own staff. "It does say something about us not having a good enough pulse."
Let me tell you why Condi. You have surrounded yourself with Muslim apologists, uberdhimmis and Moslim TaqiyyaMasters. That is why you still do not know what the words dhimmitude, taqiyya, kittman, and jizya mean. You refuse to read the Quran, any book by Spencer, Ye'or, Bostom, and so many more. You read romance novels by Esposito and Armstrong. Your expert advisor on Islam, David Forte, is a fraud, a on the dole Muslim apologist. But worse of all, you yourself are incompetent. An educated 'useful idiot for Islam' who speaks well.
In the next paragraph, you can tell they are already plotting how to get around the law against funding terrorism. Yes, our Secretary of State is plotting to break the law and give our tax money to terrorists. Condi for 2008!
'The administration then immediately began working with European and other allies to set up "normative standards" for any group participating in the political process. Those standards are to be the focus of the talks in London, with the financing cutoff an implicit threat to Hamas. But a cutoff could force Hamas to turn to other sources, like Iran, for help.'
I have WISDOM and nobody ain't going to tell me no different!
Ms. Rice told reporters that she was convinced of the wisdom of instilling democracy in the Middle East. Elections have brought into office anti-American Islamic radicals in Egypt, Lebanon and Iran, but Ms. Rice said the alternative was trying to bottle up seething anger in the region that could lead to more terrorist attacks in the West.
"There is a huge transition going on in the Middle East, as a whole and in its parts," she said. "The outcomes that we're seeing in any number of places, I will be the first to say, have a sense of unpredictability about them. That's the nature of big historic change. It's simply the way it is."
Good job, John. You analysis of this article is much better than what I did at CUANAS.
ReplyDeleteBut, I hope you are wrong. We shall see.
Here are the words of President George W. Bush in an address to a joint session of Congress and the American people, which was issued for immediate release, by the Office of the Press Secretary, shortly after 911: (September 20 2001):
ReplyDelete"We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them one against another, drive them from place to place, until there is no refuge or no rest. And we will pursue nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists (Applause.)
From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorim will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.

Am I missing something here?
Well I am just going to have to lift that fine Bush quote and drop that around the blogworld until this administration is shamed into not sneaking around our backs and funding terrorists.
ReplyDeleteBush and Condi cannot see they have the strategy all wrong. Time for a reality check.
So, by Bush's own words, that makes Syria, Iran, Suadi Arabia, Pakistan, and "Palestine" as enemy states. Besides, every Muslim country contributes in some way to the Great Global Jihad (zakat, recruits, etc).
ReplyDeleteBush should ask the Congress to declare war on said states, but of course he won't.

ReplyDeleteJohn and anti-Jihadist,
ReplyDeleteBush doesn't need to ask congress to declare war on those states, since they have already had war declared on them. (Read the quote from Krishna again.)
The questions is, is he doing things in order, or is he ignoring the problem?
We shall see.
If we don't destroy the regime of Syria, and attack Iran's nuclear facilities within the next year, then I will say you guys are correct, if not, then you guys owe me a hot dog and a coke.
A pork hot dog, some Danish cookies and a beer. You're on.
ReplyDeleteThis is a moment of truth for the President. He is wobbling and I worry he’s going to falter. If his excuse is the need for priorities, that excuse is wearing thin (not that I bought it in the first place.) However, it is now clear for everyone to see what the Palestinian people are made of. There is only one thing he can do and not disgrace the words that Krishna quotes … completely cut off all aid.
ReplyDeleteIf the numbers I read are true, that Palestinians get $1 billion in international aid and produce $300 of goods, than we can solve the whole jihadist problem in the West Bank in 3 months. Stop all international aid. They’ll have to go elsewhere and find a job. There’s a large Palestinian Diaspora (the moderates fled long ago.) While it’s not our business where they go and find work … throwing them off welfare should be the first order of business.
I’ve been writing to the President and Congress telling them it is absurd to ask Hamas to renounce violence and hatred—why ask them to lie? They are who they are. There is only one honorable course of action that we can take: stop all funding of this terror state.
Let’s put pressure on the administration. There’s already pressure to compromise and appease. To counter that, we have to demand that the administration become even tougher: repudiate past policies, cut all aid even that under the guise of humanitarian relief, threaten allies with cuts of aid if they don’t follow suit (we give Egypt and Israel over $2 billion a year,) make an example of Gaza by creating an embargo. In other words, demand more to counter the demands of the appeasers.
I've always wondered what kind of Stepford operation they run over at the State Department. It seems that no one who comes out of there leaves with their brains intact.
