In a post from earlier today, we discussed how the Brits seem to be completely fed up with their dhimmified government. I'm sure this is not a surprising development to the readers of this blog. The comments section of the post is illuminating. The governments of the West would be wise to read and understand what our readers are saying.
Here's a sample:
This brings up the question that I have asked on several sites, what do we do? Grab our guns, jump in a few pick-ups, drive to Capitol Hill and throw the bums out? The election system is owned by those with the most money. Those elected, it seems, could care less what the people think.
There is a line in the Declaration of Independence that goes something like this, when a long train of abuses... it is the right, the duty... to put an end to it. Do we wait for a "Seven Days in May" scenario? And how do you organize to effectively throw out the government when the Constitution calls it treason? How do you pull off an illegal act legally?

I went to the Bucks Free Press web site to check out the comments. The front page showed a count of 152 comments. You can see that it's a burning issue because it generated way, way more comments than the other articles. However, the comments are not shown when you click on the article link. Other links with comments do show the comments after each article. This is a clear case of self-censorship.
The blunt truth is that it won't be long before non-Muslims put survival above all else, cease to care about the distinction between good and bad Muslims, and rise up to purge any perceived threat by all means.
People can see clearly that government security agencies do not, and will never have, enough manpower and money to keep tabs on the hostile elements in their midst. Worse, the power of these agencies are proscribed by law (even though it may have more power to act than a civilian) and these agencies have trouble with their Muslim employees, e.g., the recent case of the Muslim policewoman refusing to shake hand with her male superior and the recent case of the Muslim policeman refusing to guard the Israeli embassy. Sites like westernresistance.com do a better job of in-depth reporting than the legacy media.

livfreerdie, what does the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence say about an open rebellion? I imagine this has been studied already in the case of the open rebellion that was the Civil War.

There have been a lot of discussions online as to what can we do about the threat of radical Islam. Various suggestions have been made...from writing letters to our elected reprentatives, getting the facts out to the public via blogging...to more extreme measures, such as nuking Mecca.
Sometimes it seems like the sitaution is hopeless, there is nothing effective that we can do. However, more and more I am beginnning to think that radical Islamists will be defeated-- by their own actions. As they become more and more extreme [and more and more absurd], people will start to wake up.
Unfortunately this process is prolonged by the dhimmitude of most of the MSM...but so many Muslims are making so many demands for special treatment...and the violence is spreading to so many areas..I think that eventually people will start to realize the facts.

I don't know whether elected representatives are any use. Those that can do anything have long since been bought by petrodollars. In fact those who can't do anything and are utterly useless also seem to have been bought. I see former presidential hopeful Dhimmi Carter is back in action on behalf of the one true religion. I was rather surprised because I assumed he was dead, either because I hadn't heard of him for many a year or because I thought he must have done the honorable thing at the end of his presidency and retired to his study with a bottle of whisky and a revolver. Anyway, its not for me a Brit to criticise American politicians, so in the interests of UK/US understanding I'd like to nominate ex-Peanut Farmer Dhimmi Carter for the prestigious Neville Chamberlain Peace Prize.

ReplyDeleteProblem is, what happens when our own governments here in the Western world become illegitimate? Then the decision to take up arms becomes much more tricky. There are so many players that go together to make up what we call our government. There are so many laws and rulings, good and bad, which come together to govern us. At what point does a government become illegitimate? It's a hard decision to make, especially when one understands that to make such a decision is to put one's life on the line.
I guess that's why one has to stop thinking of themselves and instead think, what will be the consequences for my children if I DON'T take action?
I was reading Pedestrian Infidel the other week, he has a link to www.loyalistparty.com : Are they a viable option for citizens of the US, or are they a day late and a dollar short ? They look to have the right idea, maybe with the backing of the non-msm they could be a bit more than a good idea in cyberspace ?

Short of a concept like loyalistparty acually succeeding in the US and more widely in the West, our children and grandchildren WILL be growing up in a world that will not be too dissimilar to the Beiruit of today (or worse).
Our governments are not serious about the problem. It is rapidly getting to the time where maybe the politicians are not the ones who should be running things. War is a military matter, and we are at war whether we like it or not. Time to hand it over to the professionals until we have actually won it ? Once victory has been achieved, I would then say it would be ok to allow idiots like Kerry, Pelosi, Kennedy, Chirac (or anybody French for that matter), Livingstone, Galloway, etc back onto their domestic political scenes. Whilst grown-up matters are being decided, the liberal/lefty/socialist types and their followers are a luxury we cannot afford.

ReplyDeleteI will try to get someone from the Loyalist Party on in the future. That's a good idea.
However, I don't think we will see a viable third party candidate until our country gets hit by a terrible and catastrophic terrorist attack.
By the way, another writer here at IBA (Pim's Ghost) has a great idea. She says she wants to start a third party like the Loyalist Party and call it the Tea Party. I like that idea, because built right into the name is the concept of an open rebellion against the existing government.
We need that.

ReplyDeletePim's Ghost has the right idea, I think every western country needs a "Tea Party". We have nothing here in the UK that fills the void, which is probably unsurprising given the lack of honest reporting available to us through the MSM. UK blogs dont seem to be so mature politically as US blogs, and the bulk of the anti-jihadi type UK blogs appear to have racial undertones, although there are one or two good honest ones out there that I am sure you are aware of
As far as the radio show goes, I read your blog a every day more or less, so generally I get to see the link you post to it. I have a long and boring drive to work every day, so I normally download it, burn it to CD and listen to it in the car. Very entertaining. And informative.

Cool, your content is a good mix, and the serious stuff needs more exposure - have you thought about sending the interviews to someone like Neal Boortz ? He seems to think the same way as you guys, and has a comparatively large audience for his shows.
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting idea. It hadn't occurred to me to promote my show like that. I am brand new at this. I've never done radio in my life. However, I was a singer in a rock band til I was 30, and I've been a sales guy since then. So, I'm used to speaking in front of groups of people. So, I had the idea I could do this and when the opportunity arose, I jumped at it.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll work on smoothing out the show a bit more before I start trying to promote it much. I don't know know if you know this, but we've had two or three shows where we've gotten five minutes into the show and so many things were going wrong that we just quit.

Since you like the show, I will tell you that tonights show is gonna be a wild one. We're having a friend of mine on who is a minor league rock star. He's gonna talk about what his life is like. He lives the rock n' roll dream. He would be killed for the life he lives in any Islamic country. Our listeners may not agree with the life he lives, but I think we would all agree that we are happy he has the right to be who he is.

[The primary concern here seems to be the Mexico-US and Canada-US land borders. What about the coasts, ports and airports? What is the plan for dealing with inspection of shipping containers and air cargoes?]
II. Embargo on all oil from Islamic regimes and restrictions on Islamic outsourcing.
* All oil imports from Islamic regimes will be cut over a 8 year period. Alternative fuels will be introduced to offset decrease.
* Most forms of outsourcing to Islamic regimes to be barred.
[Stopping the funding of one's own suicide is a good start. The embargo should be widened to include oil imports from countries that are officially hostile to the U.S., such as Venezuela, and all forms of assistance from all foreign countries for Islamic institutions within the U.S.]

ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the flag issue. I think it only weakens a person to hole material things sacred. ON the other hand, I don't think we hold the principles upoon which our nation is founded sacred enough.
I think point V is too vague. What the hell is anti-American teaching?
Here's how I would define it. No preaching of Jihad, subjugation of women, or of the stoning of apostate, adulterers and homosexuals.
