Obama Worked With Terrorist - Funded Anti-Israel Organization

From Atlas Shrugs:

Hussein Obama helped fund organization that rejects 'racist' Israel's existence

This is no inexperienced neophyte. He knows exactly what he is doing. Hussein Obama was decidedly Pro "palestinian" before he entered the race and only began making poltically expedient speeches towards about Israel after got serious about winning the White House
Obama worked with terrorist . Senator helped fund organization that rejects 'racist' Israel's existence.

JERUSALEM – The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic
terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the
establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and
education to illegal aliens.

The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor
Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic
of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly
has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was
involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a
terror group.

In 2001, the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based nonprofit that describes itself as
a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to the Arab American
Action Network, or AAAN, for which Khalidi's wife, Mona, serves as president.
The Fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Obama was a director of the Woods Fund board from 1999 to Dec.
11, 2002, according to the Fund's website. According to tax filings, Obama
received compensation of $6,000 per year for his service in 1999 and 2001.

Obama served on the Wood's Fund board alongside William C. Ayers, a
member of the Weathermen terrorist group which sought to overthrow of the U.S.
government and took responsibility for bombing the U.S. Capitol in
1971.

Ayers, who still serves on the Woods Fund board, contributed $200 to
Obama's senatorial campaign fund and has served on panels with Obama at numerous
public speaking engagements. Ayers admitted to involvement in the bombings of
U.S. governmental buildings in the 1970s. He is a professor at the
University of Illinois at Chicago.

The $40,000 grant from Obama's Woods Fund to the AAAN constituted about a
fifth of the Arab group's reported grants for 2001, according to tax filings
obtained by WND. The $35,000 Woods Fund grant in 2002 also constituted
about one-fifth of AAAN's reported grants for that year.

The AAAN, headquartered in the heart of Chicago's Palestinian immigrant community, describes itself as working to "empower
Chicago-area Arab immigrants and Arab Americans through the combined strategies
of community organizing, advocacy, education and social services, leadership
development, and forging productive relationships with other communities."

It reportedly has worked on projects with the Illinois Coalition for
Immigrant and Refugee Rights, which supports open boarders and education for
illegal aliens. The AAAN in 2005 sent a letter to New Mexico Gov. Bill
Richardson in which it called a billboard opposing a North Carolina-New Mexico
joint initiative to deny driver's licenses to illegal aliens a "bigoted attack
on Arabs and Muslims." Speakers at AAAN dinners and events routinely have taken
an anti-Israel line.

The group co-sponsored a Palestinian art exhibit, titled, "The Subject of
Palestine," that featured works related to what some Palestinians call the
"Nakba" or "catastrophe" of Israel's founding in 1948.

According to the widely discredited Nakba narrative, Jews in 1948 forcibly
expelled hundreds of thousands - some Palestinians claim over one million -
Arabs from their homes and then took over the territory.

So, Obama works with terrorists and associates with people who think Israel is a catastrophe.

I find it really hard to like Obama. I'm trying, but I find that I am simply not succeeding.

  1. Pastorius, may I ask why you are trying to like Obama? I'd like the guy too if he was a truly apostate Muslim bravely standing up and volunteering to lead this country against the evil of Jihadism while professing sound ideas on immigration, the economy, military preparedness, etc. But he ain't. No matter how hard we try to normalize this candidacy there is obviously something very wrong just below the surface and it keeps bubbling up like a sulpher spring. Fine-sounding words weighed against involvement in this many suspect groups and causes just doesn't balance out.

  2. Well, hasn't it become the national project that we all like Obama?

  3. Felt this little tidbid would fit:

Cultural Jihadists believe Muslims will eventually take over the United States. They teach that this will happen through the process of “Dawa,” which is the propagation of the radical Islamic ideology through proselytizing, converting, and undermining traditional American values and institutions. According to Emerson, Cultural Jihadists can be found in law enforcement, education, all levels of government, and elsewhere throughout American society.

    Just sayin'.

  4. Let's just take Obama apart on the issues.

Going after him as if he were a terrorist will make us ridiculous.

We need EFFECTIVE means among the uninformed.

The target is people who have an emotional attachment to the idea of hope without a basis in fact who are attracted to someone they FEEL can make their hope come true.

They must be approached in a way that leads to questioning - themselves.

  5. That is the scary part, Epa... if you try to argue with someone against Obama on the basis of his Islamist/Nation of Islam/black nationalist/Kenyan caliphate wannabe cousins all you get is a blank stare. So you're right, amongst the uninformed -- about 99% of the electorate -- the only way to argue effectively is to focus on the more traditional and mundane issues like health care, the economy, and his having no foreign policy experience unless you count butting into Kenya's civil strife every chance he gets.

The Obama cult inductees will still give you the blank stare but maybe we'll reach more of those who haven't been turned into pod people yet.

Well, I finally found where the new PC was hiding my email, so now I feel secure and accomplished and warm and fuzzy and will toddle off to bed. If the Obavampires get me in the middle of the night please somebody drive a stake through my heart!

  6. Epa & RRA,
People, some of whom are in my only FAMILY, I've been talking to don't even want to discuss the issues.

What has happened to these people, normally so sensible and typically independent voters who research the issues? They must have become "pod people"! I have no other explanation.

  7. Addendum....

The media have done an excellent job of demoralizing voters. Furthermore, voters today are conditioned to accept sound bites.

Well, maybe a disastrous Presidency will wake up the voters. That's the only hope I have this morning. I'm feeling pretty low these days.

  8. Lynne Olsen's wonderful book, "Troublesome Young Men", reports how in the late summer of 1939 everyone was running around trying to do their normal thing. Everyone KNEW. But everyone also simply could not accept.

That is where we are now.

People KNOW he cannot bring THAT level of change any more than Carter's plaintive promise never to lie to us represented a change.

Humanity if it has changed at ALL regarding conflict has done so at the cold war level, where we avoided killing all humanity in a 4 hour spasm. The unconscious feeling is that we don't face that now. We face a LONG LONG generationally unpleasant set of factors which only leadership can cause us to face. Obama promises the opposite. To hope things will be a better deck of cards.

Well, the problems facing us as differing civilizations have caused a significant % to deny what they really know to be truth, to accept the hope...

Barack Obama : "By definition there is no such thing as false hope"

Have you ever heard anything more representative of false hope than that?
