While the British schoolsystem may see fit to punish the two boys who refused to kneel and pray to Allah in their public school classroom, we the people of the Western world see the truth.
They are heroes.

Quite remarkable that two 11 & 12 year old pupils had the good sense to follow their instinct and refuse this indoctrination.
We have the means to recognize their defiance in a positive way.
We should be encouraging this defiance on a larger scale.
It is encouraging to see this story posted on a number of blogs - here, Up Pompeii, DhimmiWatch, GoV etc.
These two boys took on the establishment by themselves. They are our youngest heros and should be recognized as such, making it clear to them, their families and fellow students that people the world over admire them and are talking and writing about their brave defiance of the Islamic indoctrination foisted upon their class.
We may not know the students names, but these two boys from the Alsager school remain heros in my book. Their example is one I will use to teach my youngest child that defiance in limited circumstances will not only be acceptable - but honorable.
BRAVO!

"...is believed to be staying away from the school until the furore dies down."
This teacher is believed to be staying away?
Where, pray tell, does she think she can escape from her collosal folly?
One can only hope she'll use her time away productively - exploring the multitude reasons for this ever expanding global moral outrage - no longer merely local anymore. It is, after all . . .a small world.

ReplyDeleteYour right, we should honor them, and the school board should fire the teacher for trying to force them to pray. The administrators should be ashamed of themselves.
I agree with Damien - every single person involved with this indoctrination must be held accountable - from the school board that authorized and/or funded the texts & materials & teacher training necessary to provide this program. . .all the way up to the principals involved with disciplining the boys.
ReplyDeleteOn a daily basis we hear the repetitive PC/MC drone of how tolerant Islam is and that there is no compulsion to religion in Islam . . .yet these boys were punished for refusing it.
Two brave, young lads from Alsager High exposed this hypocrisy and there are many that must be held accountable, for indoctrination and disrespect (if not outright contempt) of the national religion and all other faiths.

Impressive.
My grandson is on a school visit to a mosque this coming week. I am trying to get his father to impress on him that he should not get down on his knees to pay homage to allah or repeat anything he is told to say.

ReplyDeleteThis is a Wonderful story, and thanks for using the PM image, fits perfectly. I'm on vacation until next week so I missed this 'till now'. Enjoying myself but can't wait to get back to work. Again, just wonderful, when our youth, on their own initiative, refuse to submit, hope for the future is Here and Now. And they shame the dhimmis all around us. Great, just great.
Those children who refused to bow to Allah have more guts than the majority of our so-called leaders.

ReplyDeleteFrank Miller is most Definitely a big influence on my work. He's one of the strongest storytellers to ever work in the field and he's produced some of the most enduring works in the field, two of my favorites are Daredevil: Born Again and The Dark Knight Returns. There are more, but these two clinch him as the best of his age.
He's a very good writer.

Point #25. Religious Education
In community and voluntary controlled schools
religious education is given in accordance with
the Cheshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education.
Parents have the right to withdraw their children from
religious education if they so wish and they may also
withdraw their chidlren from the school
in order to receive, elsewhere, religious
education of a kind not provided in the school.
The Council's approval must be obtained in this
latter case for such periods as are considered
reasonable. In aided schools religious education is
given in accordance with the school's Trust Deed.

knowledge, understanding and awareness of Christianity, as the
predominant religion in Great Britain, and the other principal religions
represented in teh the country; to encourage respect for those holding
different beliefs; and to help promote pupils' spiritual, moral, cultural
and mental development.

CONTENT of RE
31. The Education Reform Act 1988 requires that all new syllabuses, ie those adopted on or
after 29 September 1988, must 'reflect the fact that the religious
traditions in Great Britain are in the main Christian whilst taking account of the
teaching and practices of the other principal religions represented in Great Britain.'
32. The law has alwyas tated that agreed syllabuses must be
non-denominational. Accordingly, they must not require teaching by
means of any catechism or formulatroy which distinctive of any particular relgious
denomination. Teaching about a particular catechism or formulary,
for example as part of a comparative study, is not prohibited. Syllabuses
must not be designed to conver pupils, or to urge a particular
religion or geligious belief on pupils.
33. A syllabus which is to meet the statutory requirements must give sufficient
particulars of what is to be taught for it to be clear that the teaching carried
out in pursuance of that syllabus would be consistent with the requirement
given in paragraph 31. It is not enough simply to be able to say that the
teaching might be capable of meeting those requirements. It is in this
respect that the syllabuses analysed by the NCC were found to have fallen
short of what was required. Some syllabuses come with a detailed
associated handbook or other guidance, which would not normally be
considered a mandatroy part of the syllabus unless it had been agreed
formally by the local conference to constitute part of the syllabus. A
syllabus which does not on its own meet the legal requirements cannot be
made to do so by the addition of a hnadbook which has not been agreed
as part of that syllabus by the conference.
34. The effect of the provision in the 1988 Act is that a syllabus must be
based on both Christiantiy and the other principal religions represented in
this coutnry, and on their religious traditions, practices and teaching. The
syllabus should indicate at what ages or stages the particular subject matter in relation to each
religion should be taught. This does not however
mean that all relgions have to be taught in equal depth or that all of
them have to be taught at each key stage. Indeed, it would not be
educationally practicable to do wo, if they are to be studied with appropriate
rigour.
