Gateway Pundit says he contacted the LA Times to ask about a video showing Barack Obama at a party for former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi, mentioned by the LA Times in this article: Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama.
At Khalidi’s going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. “You will not have a better senator under any circumstances,” Khalidi said.
The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.
LA Times writer Peter Wallsten said he won’t release the video or reveal his sources:Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative... Refuse to Release the Video!
If true, this is media malfeasance of an almost astounding degree. They have a video that could change the stakes in this election and they’re hiding it. And they’ve been hiding it since last April.
Contact the Los Angeles Times and demand that they release this video.
UPDATE at 10/26/08 12:24:05 pm:
Please note: the existence of the tape is not in doubt. In his article from last April, the Los Angeles Times’ Peter Wallsten said explicitly that they possessed a copy of the tape: Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama.
At Khalidi’s going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. “You will not have a better senator under any circumstances,” Khalidi said.

CONTACT THE LA TIMES ADVERTISERS
The Bookworm Room has put together a list of contact addresses for the Los Angeles Times’ advertisers and owners, to ask them to demand that the Times release the video of Barack Obama being praised by former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi at a party attended by Obama, radical Palestinian activists, and Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn: Contact information for companies that advertise in the LA Times.
If you contact these advertisers, be polite, please! Emails full of angry language will be tossed into the trash unread, and give a negative impression that will damage the entire effort.
Quote from earlier thread: Wallston said that the article was written after he watched video taken. . .
ReplyDeleteWallston stated he watched it.
Yet the msm led us to believe that Wallston is blind . . .
George Bush Insults Blind Reporter
During a Rose Garden media briefing George Bush accidentally took a shot at a blind reporter for wearing shades while addressing the President. Bush has since called Peter Wallsten and appolgized for the incident.
How can he vouch for a video he cannot view? He can credibly vouch only for what he heard.
