JAKARTA, Indonesia - At least four people were killed Friday when bombs exploded at the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels in Indonesian capital, police and a television station reported.

South Jakarta police Col. Firman Bundi said the dead were foreigners and their bodies were taken to a hospital.

Debris and shattered glass littered the street outside the neighboring hotels in an upscale Jakarta neighborhood. Ambulances were being shuttled into the area.

The bombs reportedly went off 5 minutes apart. This is the same Marriott hotel where 12 were killed in a 2003 attack blamed on terror network Jemaah Islamyah.

  1. Now remember, it would be totally racist to assume that this was done by a Muslim group. It could have been Hindus or Christians. Remember Tim McVeigh?

As a culturist, I can tell you it is not racist, it is a statistically very high probability that it is Muslims.

Racism is stupid and dangerous. Culturism is rational.

  2. If you drink a bottle of Jack, bash your forehead with a steel pipe, and then lean over sideways, I think you'll see quite clearly it's a religion of peace.

  5. As an Indonesian, I don't think that it is caused by religion. It is politics, even Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that there are plan of revolution in Indonesia from terrorist that hate him.
