How many of you out there still think this War with Islam isn't worth fighting?
Can I think of something worse than an American Hiroshima?
I am a father.
You're Goddamned right I can.
UPDATE: (via Kwelos) - There is more to this atrocity than was ever published by the MSM. See links under 'Beslan - Child rape, torture and ritual murder' at The Religion of Peace™ Subject Index
as I have traveled I have found an apreciation for coming home to the united states.
ReplyDeletesome things about americans I have found to be anecdotally true, we are generally a warm friendly open people who by in large want to beleive the best of people. we are not terribly zenaphobic and generally are open to others as long as they reciproate our friendliness.
but dont get on our bad side.
if jihaadis ever did something like beslan here I think there would be a change in in magnitude tenfold of what we might accept as our response to that.
and I can tell you, americans dont really believe or understand people capable of killing babies while shouting alah ackbar.
I personally dont like going to large upscale shopping malls during the christmas season. I allways go armed and I dont like my wife to go with my daughter, without me.
although I dont tell her why. I just tell her I hate crowds and I dont like her to be alone.
I know my wife and she is incapable of thinking about secerity or the scenarios that would lead to personal defense like I do, she would freak out if I told her what goes on in my noggin.
why am I saying this? becuase 911 was a wake up call but beslan, which most americans are oblivious to, was for me the moment of clarity that the storm of evil people could reach me and my loved ones in the most banal ways and time and activities of our lives.
we dont all fly or work in tall buildings or live in big cities... but who doesnt send thier kid to school or go to the mall....
rumcrook -- dead on the point I was making. The shock something like this would have to America. Schools afraid to open, parents refusing to send their kids to those that are, dropping out of the workforce to stay home with those kids, cops not knowing which schools or malls to protect, no more day long shopping trips spending lots of money at the malls.
ReplyDeleteAnd no Muslim, anywhere but especially in the U.S., would be safe from Americans. And police forced to face having to arrest Americans who may have just lost their children to a Beslan.
Multiple American Beslans would tear at the very threads of our society.

ReplyDeleteWe might get a drive-by reminder from FOX, but will anyone else in the MSM cover this anniversary today? Or release any but the least "disturbing" of those photos? Or explain exactly who the "Chetchen rebels" were? Or that little girls were raped and then murdered and here's why they were raped first: in the Religion of Peace you can't execute a virgin.
ReplyDeleteA Beslan in this country would probably only happen if they felt they could get away with it. It would be treated as a "crime" scene, another "hijacking" of the ROP, sanctimonious mumblings from imams about the killing of "innocents" (without mention that no kuffar is "innocent"), and Obama calling out the police, the National Guard, and his "civilian army" to protect every Muslim in this country.
But all hell would still break loose.
I've been watching the TV news all morning. Not a single mention of Beslan.
ReplyDeleteListening to BBC world service, mentioned just after 8 am CT
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard about it either. GADS! How horrid Jihadists are. Are they even people??? They seem to be something Satin devised!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this this morning, MR. I am too busy today to do such a thing.
ReplyDeleteGreat work.
RRA, I had never heard about the Sharia provision that you are not supposed to execute a virgin. Do you have a source on that?
Rumcrook, I'm in agreement with you and MR. If a Beslan type attack happened in the US, things would get very ugly very quick. And, I understand why this was the wakeup call for many people, though the media barely covered it.
We have all had our wakeup calls.
I have had several. 1) 9/11. 2) The "Jenin Massacre" hoax which made me aware that anti-Semitism was once again rampant in Europe, and absolutely aflame in the Muslim world. I have always seen anti-Semitism as a barometer of how crazy our world is, so when I saw what happened around the "Jenin Massacre, I realized we were in big trouble and that a really big war was brewing. 3) The 7/7 bombings in London. My sister lives in London. It was personal to me.
You remember back when this atrocity happened how millions of Muslims took to the streets all over the world with their protest signs stating loudly and forcefully that Islam would never, ever condone, let alone inspire, such a perverse evil?
ReplyDeleteRemember all those "Not in our Name!" signs they held aloft - I must have seen hundreds of those on all the various stations covering the Muslim protests.
Then there was the, "Allah loves all children - Muslim and Non-Muslim alike!" signs.
And all those cute little pink signs that stridently shouted "Vile Beslan Slaughterers, You Never Knew Islam At All!"
And who could forget the countless blue signs that screamed "Jihadi Beslan Swine, What Would Muhammad Say?"
And, of course, all the elaborately decked out effigies of the killers that were torched in anger in such numbers that the air quality index had to be lowered over several large cities?
Ahh, those were the days, weren't they. Those were the days.
Yep, I remember the candy colored clouds and the flying unicorn too.
ReplyDeleteAllah does love all children alike. That's why his followers steal people's children, enslave them, and park them in madrassas in Sudan, Indonesia (with kids from East Timor), Egypt, etc.
ReplyDeletePasto, Beslan probably my biggest wake-up call. My sister flew out of Logan very early on 9/11 and there was a long hour before I learned that the downed flights were headed all the way cross-country. It made it very personal to me, although I think most of us feared that we would lose someone we knew that day. But Beslan was something else. It just went on for days and days.
It's also one of the great tragedies of our time, along with 9/11, Columbine, and the Challenger.
And for anyone who thinks that terrorists don't normally children, they do. Check out this story: http://theforceofreason.com/2009/07/14/coptic-church-security-thwarts-apparent-attack-by-veiled-woman/
They always want your kids.
Never here? Never again?
ReplyDeleteWhy have we given Mozlims priority in the immigration/infiltration system? Why did we react to the atrocity of 9-11 with unprecedented gestures of appeasement and cowardice to our [Saudi] attackers?
Never here? Never again? Just hollow words..... the Muslims have been handed this country on a platter of cous-cous.
Invite Rachel Erhenfeld to you radio programmes...and ask her about her inquiries into Saudi holdings in the USA.
Ok, thanks for the suggestion.
