British universities sometimes seen as breeding grounds for radical IslamAn excerpt from the article:
Like many university organizations, Islamic student societies fill an important social role for students, said Usama Hasan, a former Islamic society president at three British universities and now a university lecturer. But he said that they can also foment fundamentalist ideas and can be aided by guest speakers who "are very narrow-minded and extreme."Of course, much printer's ink is spent trying to explain away the pervasive radicalism on university campuses, such as this concluding paragraph:
"At the moment, we see no evidence to suggest any wider involvement of radicalization," he said. The university will conduct an internal investigation if necessary, [University College London provost Malcolm Grant] said, "but first you need something to inquire into."And not a word as to the funding of those Islamic societies and Islamic centers on campuses.
I guess that successful jihadist attacks in the 2010s will have to take place before the decisive questions will be asked and actual investigations will ensue.
The close call with the Christmas Day panty bomber isn't enough because nobody died. How tragic is that?
Over at A New Dark Age Is Dawning, Mark Alexander cautions us about the following:
It’s true that Britain has failed to come to grips with the problem of Islam; and the British government should take the blame for this. However, these senior US policymakers who seem to think that only Britain has the problem are living in cloud-cuckoo-land.
It is also true that Muslims in America are rather better integrated (for the moment at least); but long-term, we ALL have a huge problem with Muslims living here in the West. Truth to tell, we should never have allowed so many Muslims in. Fact is, Prophet Muhammad exhorted his followers NOT to INTEGRATE with the infidel; so American Muslim or British, they are ALL a problem for us here in the West. And this is an undeniable fact also.
So don’t be so smug and naïve over there, Stateside. You’ll have your troubles, too. Just wait; they are a-comin’. – © Mark

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately at this point, this is no longer a surprise. Have you ever read, "The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America" by David Horowitz. It deals with things like this.
