Excerpt from the first:
Arizona lawmakers who still aren't convinced President Barack Obama was born in the United States are pushing a bill that would require the president to show his birth certificate to get on the state's 2012 ballot....Excerpt from the second:
- Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party did not certify that Obama qualified to run as a candidate for President of the U.S., but only that Obama was the Democratic Party candidate;Much more here.
- the news media previously and numerously referred to Obama as “Kenya-born” before he ran for President. Afterwards, “Kenya-born” was dropped;
- Obama has spent over 2 million dollars in hiding what they say exists (his birth certificate) and supposedly have in hand
[...]
Congressman Bill Posey (FL – R) introduced a bill [3] (along with eleven co-sponsors) that would require any future candidate for President to prove his eligibility under HR 1503, which states:
“in the case of a principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President, a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate, together with such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under section 5 of article II of the Constitution.’”

Assume that Obama shows America his birth certificate, and come to find out, his birth certificate proves he is a natural born U.S. citizen. What is to be said of the hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars that were spent to keep America from seeing what they are entitled to see?...
Some of the material in the article is a reach, in my view.
But suppose for a moment BHO isn't a United States citizen. Then, what?
Again, I repeat that I'm not a birther. And I think that birthers lack credibility. I know a few, and they're always ranting and raving about the topic and saying "Throw him out of office."
But when I say, "Oh, really? How do you think that BHO supporters are going to react? Are they really going to stand for removing BHO from office?" these birthers blow off my response.
Anyway, I thought I'd post this even though I'm not a birther. Could be an interesting discussion. Or not.
Pastorius cutting in. From the comments section:
What had been a footnote to a recent posting on this site — as originally broke by TheBirthers.org — has become a whirl-wind of unearthed historical documents that were originally posted long before Mr. Obama’s eligibility had ever become the subject of scrutiny. In fact, TheObamaFile.com has compiled a number of links to these various stories:
- Kenya Sunday Standard headline — “Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate”
- The Nigerian Observer — “Americans will today go to the polls to elect their next President with Democratic Party candidate, Senator Barack Obama largely favoured to win. The Kenyan-born Senator will…”
- USAfrica — “Kenyan-born OBAMA makes history…wins presidential nomination of U. S. Democratic party; eyes on White House…”
- AllAfrica.com — ” Little wonder then why Kenyan-born Barack Obama, America’s first Black President…”
- GraphicGhana.com — “For Ghana, Obama’s visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth.” The same article, with the same quote, appeared in ModernGhana.com.
- The Ghana Times — “So far, the odds favour the once underdog in American politics, Obama, the African-American Senator from Illinois state. A Congressional Quarterly (CQ) politics monitored on BBC put the Kenyan born American ahead of his rivel, John McCain.”
From the comment section:
- (“AmericanDaughter“) NPR.org — “…She also describes the stories that have been exciting, including the U.S. presidential race of Kenyan-born Sen. Barack Obama.”
- (“AmericanDaughter“) AllAfrica.com — “Kampala — Ugandans have formed a group to mobilise support for Kenyan born-senator, Barack Obama for the US presidency.”
For the record, I think Obama was born in the U.S.
I present these quotes only because I was not aware of them.
However, I'll bet you they are mistranslations.
Note that all the quotes come from African periodicals. I am guessing the words that are translated, here, as "Kenya-born" actually mean, "of Kenyan descent."
I don't remember the media referring to Obama as "Kenya-born."
ReplyDeleteDo you know of any cases of that?
I don't recall those references.
ReplyDeleteCould they have happened early on, when I wasn't paying much attention to BHO?
Possibly.
Could articles have been deleted from the web?
Sure.
Michelle Obama did refer to Kenya as "Barack's homeland," for whatever that comment is worth.
When actual video footage of msm referring to Obama as born in Kenya surfaces, only then will I take this seriously. Until then, this is just more of the same. Actually, I HOPE verifiable video/news clips of the above references DO surface.
ReplyDeleteHi Guys.
ReplyDeletejust wanted to leave this link i think it might interest you.
Some Undeniable Truth About Comrade Obama's Healthcare Scam
Before the term “birther” became synonymous with racist conspiracy theorist, an article published on 28 February, 2008 in The New York Times titled McCain’s Canal Zone Birth Prompts Queries About Whether That Rules Him Out questioned McCAIN’s eligibility.
ReplyDeleteOn that same day, Senator Claire McCASKILL, a Missouri democrat introduced a bill titled Children of Military Families Natural Born Citizen Act. Oddly, the bill was co-sponsored by both Senators Barack Hussein OBAMA II and Hillary Rodham CLINTON, both who were running against McCAIN at the time the bill was introduced. Despite the specificity of its title, the bill (SB 2678) was an attempt to change the legal definition of a natural born citizen as referenced by Article II, Section I, clause V of the U.S. Constitution, a move that by default, would arguably and preemptively take away any constitutional challenges against the eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA II. Although the bill failed to progress in the Senate, the same lawmakers introduced a non-binding resolution (Senate Resolution 511) on 10 April 2008 to again ostensibly recognize McCAIN as a “natural born citizen,” the resolution contained broad language that could be applied to OBAMA.
The controversy surrounding the eligibility of John McCAIN to hold office continued, at least in the media. On 11 July 2008, an article was published in The New York Times under the title A Hint of New Life to a McCain Birth Issue. The article cited a law professor from the University of Arizona who concluded, in a detailed analysis “that neither Mr. McCain’s birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a “natural-born citizen.” The law professor cited in that article, Gabriel J. Chin, published a sixty-two page discussion paper in August 2008 titled Why Senator John McCain Cannot be President: Eleven Months and a Hundred Yards Short of Citizenship (Arizona Legal Studies, Discussion Paper 08-14).
The status of Barack Hussein OBAMA, however, remained unquestioned by the majority of academia.
links to now scrubbed msm references to "Kenya-born" Obama including one from NPR which only posts the correction.
ReplyDeleteWhile I believe that he was born in Hawaii, something stinks to high heaven here. They appear to be hiding something and are doing so by using one of the lefts most potent weapons; ridiculing and Ignoring the issue.
ReplyDeleteI don't know exactly what they're hiding, but is seems to me that it's something of importance or great embarrassment.
They are definitely hiding something.
"When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country of Kenya..." Michele Obama

In Marys Image,
ReplyDeleteI've seen that. What do you think she means?
cjk,
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're hiding
1) who his father is
2) what religion was stated as his on the birth certificate
I think it is possible to construct a narrative, especially if some of it is based on internet born 'factoids' as opposed to being able to FIND the original iron hard info, to say almost anything.
ReplyDeleteHowever, any salient fact on Mr. Obama's birth certificate which is purposefully hidden such as his father, religion or whatever ...BECAUSE it is perceived to be something which would have caused people to avoid voting for him would be IMHO, bigger than Watergate.
There was no chance McGovern would ever have been elected, but the folks in the center might not have been ready to vote for a 'muslim' yet, or whatever, who knows... it would not be the HIDING of the certificate which would hang the party and this presidency, it would not be who his father is or anything else (he was I believe born here) .. it would be a conspiracy and cover up whose only purpose would have been to deny the American people an honest vote over a now elected president.
This would be an ALL TIME fraud for the history books. It might end Jefferson's party as we know it, leaving the progressives and centrists permanently split, and the names of those involved eternally despoiled and destroyed.
BIG STAKES

I agree.
In fact, I think the father issue would be a huge deal if it came out that somebody else is named as his father. Look at all the money BHO made off Dreams of My Father! If the entire thing were a fraud....
