All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
I'm puzzled -- and rather perturbed -- by the "something that could have been beautiful" remark. I value Pat Condell for his absolutely uncompromising stand on Islam (and various idiocies related to religion in general) and it is rather cringe-making to hear him stray into that territory.
Otherwise, assuming Robert means what he says about welcoming all principled opponents of Islam I should think they'd get on like gangbusters. Just the thought of Robert, Pam, and Pat ganging up on some hapless CAIR mouthpiece is a happy thought.
He hasn't realised that all the early fluffy peaceful bits in the Koran are abrogated by the later violent incitements to murder, rape, mutilate etc etc.
The fluffy stuff is just there for the sake of taqiyya to dupe the gullible infidels, while Muslims get on with the real business of bombing, acid-throwing, child-rape, subversion, extortion and so on.
Well Robert Spencer and Pat Condel definitively disagree on religion, but I think if they could get beyond that disagreement they'd make a pretty good teem.
I don't know if Condel knows anything about those verses being abrogated. Even if he doesn't, he sort of has a point in a way. If say Muhammad were to have died before he started to turn to violence, what we call Islam today, might well be a radically different faith, if it were even still around.
Midnight Rider,
ReplyDeleteI Personally wonder what would happen if Pat Condell and Robert Spencer met.

Islam is of the devil that Pat Condell does not believe in.
