And, he claims he is a Christian, which you can tell is true by the way he lies about his Christian brothers and sisters.
You see how that works?
Ace makes a great point:
What he means is (well I hope he means this; all other suggestions are lunatic) that the majority of the country is Christian, so whenever a murder occurs, it's a "Christian murder."
Uh-huh.
But see, the thing is, Muslims commit those sorts of "Muslim murders" every day, too, if we're calling any murder (for the typical motives, love, money, etc.) by a member of a religion a Religious Murder.
He kind of forgot that, eh?
What we are talking about is murders committed for the sake of religion -- and no, Tavis, Christians are not killing people every day because Jesus told them they'd get into heaven if they do.
smiley must come from the wright (rev) school of victimhood...WSVH-hey-i'm stealing the acronym from myself!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteC-CS
I have a new theory about this sudden "Change" somehow it's a virus it spreads like wildfire, Only true Christians are immune. As soon as you are infected the weirdest and most evil things look OK to you.We should name it the PreSSidency virus.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts, exactly, CS.
ReplyDeleteThink about it; at Jeremiah Wright's church, they claim they are Christian, yet they defend Louis Farrakhan. They are a Christian church that has Muslims as members.
I think that's the kind of Christian Tavis Smiley is.
By the way, the difference between Christians and Muslims, for Tavis Smiley's edification, is Muslims can rightly claim acts of Jihad as being according to the doctrine of Islam. When some nut who calls himself a Christian goes off (as in his example of "Columbine") then there is no Biblical basis for such behavior.
And, if I recall correctly, Dylan Kliebold was more into Satan than he was into Christ.
Pastorius,
ReplyDeleteHere's a few questions for Travis Smiley. What did the Columbine Massacre have to do with Christianity? Even if Eric Harris, and Dylan Klebold, where Christians, what evidence do you have that their actions were motivated in any way shape or form by their religious convictions? How many people who kill innocent people who happen to be Christian, do so based on their religious convictions? How many of them even try to use their religion as an excuse to commit murder? Most members of the Mafia, happen to be Christians, but Mafia hits pretty much never have anything to do with religion, any religion, including Christianity. How about the fact that there are still far more Christians than Muslims in America? Even when Christian groups do commit acts of terrorism in the name of their faith, based on everything I see, it is much rarer than when Muslims do it. Until you can show that not only do Christians commit more violent crimes but do so in the name of their religion more than Muslims do, you have no argument.
Also, where are the Christian Nations today where you can be put to death for leaving the faith? Where on Earth Today, are the Christian Nations where the barbaric Old testament laws are enforced?
Hi Guys.
ReplyDeleteA small step for mankind in the right direction :Doctors Shift Stance on Female Circumcision."We’re saying don't do it"
Thanks, Will!
ReplyDeleteTavis Smiley is the poster boy for us who are opposed to public tax supported media.
ReplyDeleteDumbass would never be able to make a buck on his own.
Hi guys .One more thing i
ReplyDeleteread that Obama is trying to reactivate this bill to fight "homegrown" terrorists. It was turned down in the past.Just read the "Beauty'.
Tavis Smugly is such a stupid goon. I mean come on, he got fired from BET!!! When you're own think you're wack, well ...
ReplyDeleteOops. I mean "your own" not "you are own. I type really fast. Typos are bad. But it's funny sometimes to proof read your typos cause your mind says some funny stuff when your fingers are flying.
ReplyDeleteIs Ayaan Hirsi Ali the epitome of class or what? You'd have to pry my fingers off that thug's throat, and she just sits there and quietly makes him look like even more of a fool than he is. If possible.
ReplyDelete"Crislam" -- a new word is coined! I don't think he's afraid of Islam. If anything, I think he would recite the Shahada and go over if he thought the time was right.
Columbine had absolutely NOTHING to do with Christianity, yes they were closer to being satanists* though from what I know of the case their "mindset" defied specific categorization.
* And before the nice lady from the CoS butts in, no you do not own the definition of that term. Others besides HASL have claimed it, and you know who I mean as well as I do. So put a sock in it.
Just for the record, I got the word "Chrislam" from Michael Travis and Paul Williams.
ReplyDeleteRe Will's comment, is anyone else a bit concerned about the possible combination of that bill and the UN anti-"blasphemy" resolution being made binding some time in the future? Is is paranoid to speculate that Obummah might welcome the "challenge" of working his way around the Bill of Rights in order to "comply" with that one?
ReplyDeleteBetween the bus sign MSM frenzy and the Ground Zero Sharia Stealth Project in New York and our State Treasurer Cahill here in MA getting pasted for pointing out that our idiot governor Patrick kowtows to the Muslims there does seem to be an unusual level of testing of the waters going on.
I see the mosque attack death toll in Pakistan is up to 80 as the ROP works hard to maintain its track record.
Revere Rides Again,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are just being paranoid. That UN resolution against the "Defamation of Religion" is really just an attempt by Jihadists to silence criticism of their religion. As much as I don't like Obama, I would hope he would do the right thing and come against it.
Pastorius
ReplyDeleteActually "Chrislam" is a movement in Africa which according to its adherents combines Christianity and Islam.
Here's more on it from PBS
"Chrislam" Combines Christian and Muslim Beliefs
You did a commentary. about them here on the IBA, a while back.
Did you forget about that?
ReplyDeleteDamien,
ReplyDeleteYes, I did forget about that.
Do you think that movement has anything to do with the popularized movement that is arising here in the U.S.?
Pastorius,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't know if what your talking about, so how would I know if Chrislam had anything to do with it? I also don't know very much about Chrislam to begin with. I just happened to remember that you covered it here earlier. Does the popularized movement that you are talking about here in the U.S go by the same name as the one in Africa? If so, they are probably connected. If not, maybe you should look into the matter and do a little research, and find out if the two are connected.

ReplyDeletePastorius,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ace, he pretty much made the same point I did.
this article reveals the truth about Islam being a Violent Religion.. or a Psychotic Narcissistic Personality Cult, Death Cult... what ever you wish to call that Evil Sickness..

"snip...Staggering Statistics on Muslims Killing Muslims
Posted on October 9, 2007 by wasteofmyoxygen
ACT has posted a set of statistics that demonstrates the real violence against Muslims, it is not Jews, Christians or even America that is leading the pack in Muslim Genocide, but rather other Muslims. These numbers (almost 10 million killed by other Muslims) defy rationality and surely anyone with half a brain can see where the real problem lies. Islam may or may not be a peaceful religion, but the people who dominate the religion and are the face that the world sees as representation of the religion, surely are far from peaceful..snip"
this is the ACT referred to in the article..

Travis Smiley is the son of a Kenyan Muslim, who briefly attended Islamic school as a child.
...why does that sound so F'n familiar.??
he blames his lack of Professional success on the "Corporate Man".. not his own twisted ideologicalized filtered insight.
he needs to go back on his Meds..
Black Rain, thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Smiley and Obama, I'd really like to know what precipitated their conversions to Christianity. Muslims don't just convert. How did Smiley's dad feel about this conversion?
