There is no struggle between Islam and America, imam says.Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf said opposition to the project was being led by a “tiny, vociferous minority” but he trusted the wisdom of Americans to act in the spirit of the US constitution."

 

In a recent CNN poll, nearly 70 percent of all Americans oppose building a mosque at Ground Zero, even in light of First Amendment rights.
