The Next Step For Body Scanners?

Huh?

From this source:
The next step in tightened security could be on U.S. public transportation, trains and boats.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says terrorists will continue to look for U.S. vulnerabilities, making tighter security standards necessary.

“[Terrorists] are going to continue to probe the system and try to find a way through,” Napolitano said in an interview that aired Monday night on "Charlie Rose."

“I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime. So, what do we need to be doing to strengthen our protections there?”

[...]

Napolitano isn’t the only one who’s suggested that advanced scanning machines could be used in places beyond airports.

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, introduced legislation this past September that would authorize testing of body scanners at some federal buildings....
This is crazy.

Will toll plazas be next? Gas stations?

All this hyper-security is crisis-management mode, and the terrorists are going to get one step ahead of all this nonsense.

Meanwhile, we're losing our freedom, our right to privacy for our bodies.

Are we just going to have to stay home?

  1. if this continues, I am real concerned. that is how repressive gov't keep their populace subservient is to restrict their movements and require official permission to travel over a certain distance. I can see that coming here all in the guise of security and safety. unfettered travel is a right of a free people, if you can afford it, you go. Now it is more difficult.

  2. I find it intolerable that this libtard bitch, who does not give a damn about this nation and who would gladly convert and submit to Islam rather than having to take any real personal risk to defend us, keeps snapping her fingers and telling us what we WILL DO as she comes up with ever more invasive ways of evading the necessity of confronting the enemy.

This whole damned administration should be impeached.
