All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

ComposerJohn Barry Has Died
Her Royal Whyness has informed us that Composer John Barry has died.
The "Somewhere in Time" pocket watch is a paradox in time travel cinema.
*** In the movie, young dramatist, Richard is handed the pocket watch after a theatrical performance by an elderly Elise, who presses the token into his palm with the words "come back to me". Eight years later, suffering writers block, Richard visits the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island where he finds himself captivated by a haunting portrait of a young theatrical performer of the hotel's stage during the early 1900's, named Elise McKenna. Richard begins to research this actress's background and realizes the young woman in the portrait and the elder woman who gave him the pocket watch are one in the same person.
The pocket watch is the token used to hypnotise himself to revisit Elise in 1912, where he gives her the watch. **** hence the paradox
more music from John Barry (including theme from "Out of Africa", "Dances with Wolves", "Midnight Cowboy", "The Scarlet Letter", and some '007 themes.
For those of you who have seen this movie I have a time travel conundrum for you ... WHERE DOES THE WATCH SHE GIVES HIM COME FROM?
