All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
FWIW, I went to Morocco in '95 ...................... there were NO "public facilities" for women; we stopped at a cafe, on the road from the south back to Casablanca, for me to use the restroom .................. I went to the counter & asked where it was located, and was directed downstairs. About 4 steps from the bottom, a young man held his hand up to stop me - I waited, and an older man came out, zipping up, and headed up the stairs. The young man disappeared, I heard water sloshing, then he reappeared & gestured for me to come on down & into the WC. I entered an absolutely stench-filled room, ~ 6'x 6', the young man closed the door behind me - there were places for putting one's feet, over a hole in the floor, NO toilet tissue visible. I just couldn't, returned to my gentleman friend, and waited until we were back in Casablanca, at the western hotel where we were staying ......................... I know such are common in the Far East, and other countries, but one would think that areas that wish to encourage tourism would be more ...................... enlightened? accommodating? Granted, this was 18 years ago, and Morocco probably isn't encouraging the degree of Western tourism they were then, but still .................
Y'know, I can't think of ONE advancement to human knowledge that pIslam has offered - that wouldn't have been found by Western folks, at some close point in time. As a group, they seem the most benighted, backward, pathetic excuse for a religion. Isn't it funny, how almost all other religions exist to lift up the spirits of their adherents, and pIslam seems bent on corruption?
