All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

I like that guy's sound. I like Pat Metheney's music, but I have never liked his sound. And since he's such an enormous influence on so many guitarists, I don't like a lot of what I hear from Jazz Guitarists.
But this I like. He's ambient without being sweet, and without having it overwhelm the notes he plays.
John Abercrombie used to be good at this too, back in the late-70's early-80's.

ReplyDeleteThe Hudson Project with Abercrombie, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer and John Patitucci has been a favorite of mine for a long time now.
