Law enforcement officers investigating the Boston marathon bombings searched the suburban apartment of a man being questioned in connection with the attack late Monday into early Tuesday, CBS Boston station WBZ-TV reports..
CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports the man is a Saudi national currently under guard at an area hospital. He was seen running from the explosion, and a civilian chased him down and tackled him. He was turned over to Boston police and was being interviewed by the FBI. He was being cooperative and denying any involvement.
"This could mean a lot, or this could mean very little," Miller said. "It's too soon to call him a suspect."
Massachusetts State Police confirm to The Associated Press that a search warrant related to the probe was served Monday night in Revere, Mass., but provided no further details.
Some investigators were seen leaving the apartment building early Tuesday carrying brown paper bags, plastic trash bags and a duffel bag.

Posted over at hotair: I don’t believe the statements from our government that there were no threats. Our local paper interviewed by phone one of the runners from our city. She reported her husband saying he was standing by a light pole when three police officers came and took a suitcase that had been sitting there. This was an hour before the bombs went off. He told her everyone around him thought that was strange. Also they were making announcements at the starting line and finish line for the racers to just ignore the police dogs as they were just “training”. When she met up with her husband after finishing the race and he told her about the suitcase she had a gut feeling something wasn’t right and she and her husband hailed a cab and headed right back to their hotel. The bombs exploded about an hour later.

coincidence?
I couldn't watch the press conference beyond a few moments. Revealing nothing, not even admitting it was a terror attack, the FBI spokesperson was deliberate in his message, and was closely intensely watched over his left shoulder by an individual who relaxed only after this spokesperson clarified that there were only 2 devices (not the five reported on several msm/websites earlier). I walked out of the room when this spokesperson mentioned "interfaith" service . . .deceptively revealing.
