It could have been you?
Are you that dumb as well, to jump out in the dark and attack and mug someone you have told others is following you?
Maybe. Because as an adult with the responsibility of and to the nation, to UNUM.. with an analogously IDENTICAL MIRROR ‘race’ makeup as Mr. Zimmerman, instead of removing the fire from the IDIOTIC divisions, you told us I AM BLACK FIRST, before I am president of the USA.
Really?
I could have cared less about you in that way.
But I do now. Because YOU made it that way.
And YES, I read the whole statement. But I get the message. I get it NOW. You probably think I am racist, then. FINE.
In 2000 if Lieberman had been elected, and become president in 2008 instead of you, and a riot (as there have been, btw) in Brooklyn resulted in the death of some young Jewish boy for WHATEVER SET OF REASONS…would Joe Lieberman have done this? Said this?
Would the press inveigh against an Al Sharpton who inspired a ‘pogrom’ in Crown Heights, and Jesse ‘Hymietown’ Jackson?
Why did you not calm? Why did you not talk about the juries we make justice with? Why, Mr. President did you NOT talk about ZImmerman being just like you, instead of Mr. Martin?
After all, you are both ‘white’ whatever you are’s are you not?
And is THAT who you are?
Funny, I thought you a progressive politician, arrogant, entitled and a self aggrandizing member of a political class.
Now I know better how to think of you.
You told me.
You are BLACK. Like Trayvon Martin.
I had seen B. Obama was a mistake. Like Jimmy Carter. Like Herbert Hoover. But not now.
This is the most sickening moment in America since Selma.
Selma showed us what we needed to gain. B Obama has shown us by perversion of WHAT we have gained, how we have lost.
He is not president.
He is a black president.
And that’s what he shows me he wants to be.
I feel like vomiting.
This nation has gone from slave holding, to a civil war in which ONE MILLION Americans became casualties to end that, SCOTUS rulings to separate us, lynchings, KKK as a viable force in the MIDWEST, to Rosa Parks, MLK, Medgar Evers, and a society DEDICATED..DEDICATED to erasure of this stinking compulsion and its vestigial remains. It is a HUMAN thing, not an American weakness but we attacked it as a nation. We put in place making Americans who happen to be black SUPERIOR to make up for it. We took our school buses and shoved our kids around in INNUMERABLE cities. We marched. We voted. We were killed, bombed, black and white, and any race or religion you care to mix (all, I hope).
There are no more Edgar Ray Killens.
I feel like vomiting.
E Pluribus UNUM is a joke to this black president.
I really hoped, even though I disagree with B Obama politically on most things that he would prove something.
He has.
He sees himself in a very different manner, and a society of groups of races and colors and nationalities, with VERY different aims and goals.
I did not. But you, Mr. Obama showed me differently.
I got your message.
Good stuff, Epa.
ReplyDeleteA second point, anyone who believes Zimmerman was "profiling" Trayvon Martin does so without evidence.
Anyone who believes Zimmerman was profiling Trayvon Martin is attempting to THINK WITH ZIMMERMAN'S HEAD, which of course, is impossible.
We can not know what Zimmerman thinks. We can know what he does and did.
And, in all the evidence that was presented, there is no evidence that George Zimmerman is a racist, who was bent on going after black kids.
Anything decision beyond evidence is simply suspicion of a THOUGHT CRIME.
And, it does nothing to change the central question in the Zimmerman trial, which was this:
Did Zimmerman have reason to believe - as he was on his back with Trayvon Martin raining fists down on his face and his head pounding against the pavement - that he was in physical danger?
The evidence clearly shows he DID have reason to believe he was in real danger.
THEREFORE, he had the right to use his weapon to put a stop to that danger.
It's pretty fuckin' simple.
Zimmerman is an excuse for the grievance profiteers - and like the KGB, for dizinformaziya to work, there must be the grain of truth.
ReplyDeleteThat grain is the long dead Plessy vs Ferguson society.
