ISIS Supporter Shot Dead After Allegedly Attempting To Behead Police Officers In Melbourne, Australia

From Buzzfeed:
The 18-year-old slashed one officer with a knife as he attempted to shake his hand before stabbing another officer in the arm, stomach, and head.
According to police, the first officer then pulled out his gun and shot Haider, ending the incident, which took place outside the Endeavour Hills station in southeast Melbourne.
Both police officers underwent surgery overnight, with one still in critical condition.
According to The Age crime reporter John Silvester, Haider “planned to behead” the officers and drape their bodies in an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) flag.
Fairfax Media reported that Haider had been planning to post the images to social media websites to be included in ISIS’s latest web propaganda.
Victoria’s police commissioner, Ken Lay, said monitoring of the teen began three months ago.
Police concerns were raised when he appeared at a Melbourne shopping mall last week with an ISIS flag.
