The term ‘socialist’ once was used as an epithet in American politics. Perhaps no more.
In a year in which Bernie Sanders, a self-described ‘Democratic Socialist,’ is running a competitive primary campaign for the White House, a new survey finds that a healthy portion of Democratic primary voters are favorably inclined toward socialism.
Nearly six-in-ten Democratic primary voters believe socialism has a ‘positive impact on society,’ according to polling conducted this month for the right-leaning issue advocacy group American Action Network and provided to POLITICO.
Democratic voters in every age group, every gender, and every race view socialism favorably, according to the early February telephone poll of 1,000 likely Democratic primary voters fielded by Republican firm OnMessage Inc. and commissioned by AAN, which is tied to the Congressional Leadership Fund super PAC dedicated to House Republicans. And among people 45 and under — a group that has helped power Sanders’ primary performances — the ideology is preferred to capitalism by a margin of 46 percent to 19 percent.
so·cial·ism
a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
com·mu·nism
a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
Communism is socialism after it starts obviously failing. A socialist will tell you you can own a house (unless the community as whole needs it), a communist does away with the charade.
The nation is burning down, people.
Anyone running have a fire hose?
Majority of Democrats say socialism has 'positive impact’
Any questions?
I have an answer.
If this continues unabated, those who get up in the morning fired up to achieve, invent, commence upon their NEW ideas, and make the world different, with what is inside their heads bursting to emerge - to produce, will instead recognizing the nation’s state, grab their portion of what is now a zero sum game, all the while as the nation is drained of every valuable asset and idea via free trade, and protect it from the common weal.
And they will be right.
And that will be that.
And this is how that all ends:
All workers, wage earners and employees of any kind whatsoever shall henceforth be attached to their jobs and shall not leave nor be dismissed nor change employment, under penalty of a term in jail.
All industrial, commercial, manufacturing and business establishments of any nature whatsoever shall henceforth remain in operation, and the owners of such establishments shall not quit nor leave nor retire, nor close
All wages, prices, salaries, dividends, profits, interest rates and forms of income of any nature whatsoever, shall be frozen at their present figures, as of the date of this directive.Anyone recognize this?
Every establishment, concern, corporation or person engaged in production of any nature whatsoever shall henceforth produce the same amount of goods per year as it, they or he produced during the Basic Year, no more and no less. The year to be known as the Basic or Yardstick Year is to be the year ending on the date of this executive order. Over or under production shall be fined.
Prescient. We already had the NLRB halt Boeing from moving manufacturing from a heavily unionized state (WA) after strikes had made a farce out their contractually committed production schedule, to a state where that was less likely to happen (SC).
This is REAL.
As for me, I have a personal answer .. I used to invent the means to answer questions about how the heart functioned, actually did work during surgery, transplant, new drugs, etc, but if this is all it’s going to be ..
Canvas on the roof, a good grill, and there’s plenty of fish in the yard. My wife and I will have a lot of sex, play old music, and FORGET THE PLACE WHERE PROPERTY is no longer as favorable as community ownership, and direction, and urge all our children and grandchildren to join us on the island, 9000 miles from here, and closer to nature than we are here .. where the community will make decisions on my day to day life.
And there will be millions who will make this move in their heads, and ‘leave’ this place as the reality of that life makes its presence felt.
“owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”
Really? That’s the ‘community’ now?
Recognize this? I believe it's Ayn Rand from Atlas Shrugged. But who cares...
ReplyDeleteTo the typical white 25 y/o socialism means "free shit" and what's wrong with that?
Epa,
ReplyDeleteAm I wrong? I think the NLRB TRIED to halt the Boeing move, but dropped the case after awhile.
Pasto - Yes they gave up when Boeing threatened to just CLOSE that plant instead. We don;t yet have laws to stop that
ReplyDeleteAnon - YES, Directive 10-289
You ask: Any questions?
ReplyDeleteAnswer: No, just a statement. Those fools were born with a silver or gold spoon in their mouths. They have never lived under a socialist country, or any other kind of tyranny. They fully deserve what's coming to them, including their future state of dhimmitude.
The only problem is they are destroying our world too.
