A President Clinton who would make safe the Speaker’s position within the Political Class so that things can continue and those in and near power (and $) can continue their control of their demesne which they know in their hearts is the divine right of their class.
Ryan’s self confirmation in this class came with his support of the end of automated budget control, and his stewardship of and collapse over the current budget DESPITE control of both houses.
It was POSSIBLE to pay our expanding debt AND stand firm on the budget, but instead Ryan LED the effort for MORE OF THE SAME, just as is Hillary.
Ryan’s statement yesterday about his being unable to support Trump at this time, is no different from racists hiding under the guise of counter jihad, or racist of another guise hiding under the British Labor Party. He is more interested in preserving this political class of both parties than in an ideology of “C”, real accomplishments which are “C” in nature, or moving the nation IN THAT DIRECTION by actually WINNING.
The direction of our economy across GENERATIONS, now, is not arguable.
The problems at the border have been the subject of promises since 1986.
You own those both Mr. Ryan.
Unify. Or get out of the way. This isn’t even about Trump, now.
Paul Ryan, who seemed so promising in promises in 2012, has now been found in the white sheets of the political class.
It’ depressing. But Mr. Ryan, I am sorry, it’s OFF TO THE POLITICAL PLACE DE LA CONCORDE, for you.
Yep, Paul Ryan has shown his true colors.
ReplyDeleteScrew the GOP!
For the last 30 years, the approach -- regardless of the name it's been given -- hasn't really worked and has now reached the point where it should be OBVIOUS that if it ever did work, it's "run out."
ReplyDeleteTime to move to a different approach.
PERIOD.

ReplyDeleteMR,
ReplyDeleteThey're in the denial phase.
One of Trump's recent Tweets:
ReplyDeletePaul Ryan said that I inherited something very special, the Republican Party. Wrong, I didn't inherit it, I won it with millions of voters!
No kidding!
