From Breitbart:
The CEO of retail giant Target is zig-zagging between the many customers who are angered by his decision to open single-sex bathrooms to the other sex, the gender-identity progressives who pushed for the disastrous transgender policy, and the Wall Street stock-pickers who have chopped roughly $4.5 billion off the company’s value.
“We’re going to continue to embrace our belief in diversity and inclusion, just how important that is to our company,”CEO Brian Cornell said in a May 11 appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” business show. “But we’re also going to make sure our focus on safety is unwavering,” he added.
To mollify the public angered by his removal of single-sex restrooms and changing rooms, the company will add family bathrooms to all of its stores, he said.
We’re committed over the next few months, to make sure every one of our stores has that option, because we want to make sure that our guests be welcomed in our stores. But if there’s a question of safety, I can tell you and others, our focus on safety is unwavering, and we want to make sure we provide a welcoming environment for all our guests, one that’s safe, one that’s comfortable.
But Cornell did not offer to return single-sex changing rooms, which is likely the most unnerving element in the company’s new open-door, pro-transgender agenda.
The company can’t easily add family changing-rooms without using up scarce space in their retail stores — and can’t reestablish single-sex changing-rooms without angering many progressive professionals in the media and fashion industries.
Those progressives professionals would likely claim the company is unfairly “gender policing” its customers, even though transgender advocates say only 1 in every 300 Americans are transgender.
Other estimates say the ratio is only 1 transgender for every 2,400 Americans.
So Cornell tried to reassure and flatter progressives about the justice of his company’s brand-damaging, revenue-reducing April 19 decision. “We took a stance,” Cornell said, as he suggested that single-sex bathrooms are just like a racist refusal to use African-Americans in commercial advertising in the 1960s."Transgender" men pulling their dicks out in front of your children, FIRST.
Your child's safety, SECOND.
It can wait until Target finds valuable retail space they're willing to give up in order to build a "Family Bathroom."
Don't worry, they'll get right on it ...
Target, that is. Not the "Transgender" men.
Pasto .... Was This Near You?
ReplyDeleteBe Careful Out There.
Close call.

Pastorius - it's beyond insulting. "Revolting"? Perhaps thats a better term?
ReplyDeleteBTW...Vlad has a video posted of an extended and extraordinary interview by Saron of Akkad with Tommy Robinson during which Tommy reveals the evolution of his exposure to Islam in Luton. Incredibly revealing as he highlights personally experienced moments which mirror examples of shariah enforcement through the ages as described by Dr. Andrew Bostom's "Legacy.." series of books. He describes the failures of the police to address various sexual grooming gangs as not isolated failures...rather, the police uniformly turned a blind eye to every intolerance of the native population including racism, extremism (remember the Hook handed imam preaching openly)where the locals just came to accept that was the way it was going to remain.
As just one example:
ff: 17:32
"As young kids, I remember my parents used to say 'if you walk by Muslims, don't look up'...as a young kid that's what we were getting told. And that's what English parents are NOW telling their kids".
The entire interview is 1:36:28 in length...MUST WATCH!!
i look muslim males squarely in the right eye--the eye of communication..so- if i am suddenly dead for no apparent reason -- you will know why--

Here, scholar, Bat Ye'or discusses dhimmitude in this Aug. 2002 report:
"Like sexism and racism, dhimmitude is not only manifested in legal and social structures, but in a psychology of inferiority, a will to serve, which the dominated community adopts in self-preservation.
"The law required from dhimmis a humble demeanor, eyes lowered, a hurried pace. They had to give way to Muslims in the street, remain standing in their presence and keep silent, only speaking to them when given permission. They were forbidden to defend themselves if attacked,or to raise a hand against a Muslim on pain of having it amputated. Any criticism of the Koran or Islamic law annuled the protection pact.
In addition the dhimmi was duty-bound to be grateful, since it was Islamic law that spared his life.
and again in this Oct. 2002 report here:
"In the social domain dhimmis had to be recognized by their discriminatory
clothes whose shape, color and texture were prescribed from head to foot, likewise, their houses (color and size) and their separate living quarters. Dhimmis were forbidden to ride a horse or a camel, since these animals were considered too noble. A donkey could be ridden in towns but only on a pack‑saddle, the dhimmi sitting with both legs on one side and dismounting on sight of a Muslim. A dhimmi had to hurry through the streets, always passing to the left (impure) side of a Muslim, who was expected to force him to the narrow side or into the gutter. He had to walk humbly with lowered eyes, to accept insults without replying, to remain standing in a meek and respectful attitude in the presence of a Muslim and to leave him the best place. If he was admitted to a public bath, he had to wear bells to signal his presence. Stoning
Jews and Christians ‑ especially in Arab‑populated regions ‑ was not unusual‑ likewise disdain, insults and disrespectful attitudes toward them were customary. Some regional rules represent an aggravation of this pattern. In Morocco and Yemen, Jews were forbidden any footwear outside their segregated quarter.
CS, glad to hear it. Don't wind up dead, but don't back down.
ReplyDeleteBTW Here is Bat Ye'or's definition of dhimmitude as posted at StrategyPage.com:
ReplyDeleteBat Ye'or's definition:
"As for the concept of dhimmitude, it represents a behavior dictated by fear (terrorism), pacifism when aggressed, rather than resistance, servility because of cowardice and vulnerability. The origin of this concept is to be found in the condition of the Infidel people who submit to the Islamic rule without fighting in order to avoid the onslaught of jihad. By their peaceful surrender to the Islamic army, they obtained the security for their life, belongings and religion, but they had to accept a condition of inferiority, spoliation and humiliation. As they were forbidden to possess weapons and give testimony against a Muslim, they were put in a position of vulnerability and humility."
May Target crash and burn.
ReplyDeleteI don't shop there anyway.
I have a Target near my home and shop there on occasion. No more. They have lost my business. I will never walk through the doors again unless it is a dire emergency.
ReplyDeleteWe officially stopped shopping there also. Three weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteIt is important to send that little note to Target too and let them know they have lost your business.
ReplyDeletetammy
I will be going to the store personally to cancel my credit card with them. I will speak to the manager. And I will write a letter to the CEO.
