Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

  1. seems to me the next part even more relevant

    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned. The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity

  2. Yeaaaaah, right there with ya.

    Got more fired up than usual on the Gathering Storm this afternoon. I think AoW and WC were getting the tranquilizers ready...

    (whether for them or me I'm not sure)

  3. MR,
    All of us were fired up on TGS this week.

    I started the show dragging my ass (damn kidney trouble making this the Summer of Suffering), but the longer we talked, the angrier I got at the so-called leaders we have.

    Yeats is the perfect poet for our time.
