Marion Le Pen, Four Days Prior to the Nice Massacre
It is quote possible that in 2017 Marine Le Pen will be the president of France, Donald Trump the president of the United States and Britain out of the EU.
I really don't know what to make of Marine Le Pen. Her father is a rank anti-Semite but she does not, at least publicly, embrace that dangerous lunacy.
Still: she is a Nationalist - and if you are truly French, how can you NOT be?
She also seems to have something of a Joan of Arc complex. She could be very interesting.
At least she is far cry from the unlamented Segolene Royal.
Marion isn't the party leader Marine is, yes. But she is not her father. She has worked very hard not only to distance herself from her father but also to keep him away from the party.
I don't see any reason to doubt her yet. She sounds reasonable and has the right focus.
Yes she rallied the party against her father because of his anti semitism. She was vehemently against her father and his statements. Whether that was for political gain is debatable but if she wanted to gain politically, she would have also changed the platform to include "moderate Muslims".

This, of course, is not Marine Le Pen. This is her younger, hotter sister, Marion.
Who could be even worse than her father. I have no idea.
