ReplyDeleteFillmore East, Grateful Dead (Skull & Roses), Survival of the Fittest, Bangladesh. Great live albums: stack them on the Victrola and let them drop. Turn the stack over and drop them again.
Studio craft: Who's Next, Meddle, Aqualung, Killer, Led Zep IV, Maggot Brain, Revolution of the Mind (oops, that was live), Ram, 200 Motels, Lost in the Ozone, and the incomparable compilation Hot Rocks.
Just to name a few.
Meddle is a great album. I was thinking of putting that on my list. Who's Next too.
ReplyDeleteFunkadelic was great. I had stopped listening to Pop Music entirely by that time. I only later even became aware of PFunk.

Meddle. I'm especially fond of Seamus with vocals provided by Dave Gilmour and Steve Marriott's dog.
