All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

WILL THIS BE THE SUPER BOWL OF DEBATES, OR THE BEST EPISODE OF THREE STOOGES EVAH?
My opinion:
Trump beat Hillary on the Economy and on Foreign Affairs. She dug in on her experience in negotiating the Iran treaty. That was a lose for her. She dug in on her need to tax and spend. That is a lose for her.
Trump did VERY VERY POORLY on the issue of Race. He was served up a big possible win there, and he did not explain his experience with the Mar-A-Lago Country Club in Palm Beach, FL, where HE INSISTED ON INCLUDING BLACKS AND JEWS AS MEMBERS at a time when such open membership was not nearly as common as it is today.
The fact that he did so poorly in framing what should have been an easy win for him is very sad. He is going to get HAMMERED mercilessly on race for the next three weeks.
MERCILESSLY.
The only thing Trump has on his side when it comes to race (in the aftermath of his poor performance on this subject) is the fact that the American people, in general, are entirely sick of the subject.
In total, Trump won with his people. Hillary won with the media. We can only hope that the media OVERPLAYS IT'S HAND. They probably will.
The one good thing Trump did in this debate is mention the swing states and their issues repeatedly. He won himself one or two swings states tonight.
That is HUGE.
Winding down, it seems Trump is dominating the stage. Just my perception.

I couldn't take more than 5 minutes of it.
ReplyDeleteIt was like having dinner with my parents.
Donald Trump did ok. My problem with this debate was the moderator's questions were loaded with falsehoods which automatically favored Hillary...such as the opening declaration of the greatest number of jobs created under Obama! Hillary lied repeatedly...and she is a consummate professional lying politician...she can convince an Eskimo to turn on the air conditioning in the middle of winter.
ReplyDeleteWatching a couple seconds of post debate discussion it's clear the media remains fixed for Hillary. But it's also clear that Trumps numbers with the general electorate will clean Hillary's clock. She just does not have the popular vote. This debate likely did not hurt her, but it did not help her either. I'd say it was a draw.
I think Trump won if you total his wins point by point. But he did not win by much. Therefore, the win will go to Clinton in media land.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is no one seems to believe in the media anymore.
I zoned out when Hillary played the race card.
ReplyDeleteI had to turn it off after the first 15 minutes. She came out self confident and scripted, and he was so nervous it showed. It made me nervous and could not stand it. I recorded it, so I can watch it tomorrow, now that I know he did not do too bad ...
ReplyDeleteHRC cannot win this election. She will put the final nail in the coffin Obama, Holder, Jarrett, and his other minions so carefully crafted.
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice that he was nervous. My take is different: he knew that he had to remain self-controlled -- no matter what HRC hit him with.
At one point late in the debate, HRC seemed groggy and gave a blank stare.
Once again, the Democrats beat the Republicans in the psyops department. With all of the emphasis on Hillary's failing heath all she had to do was remain upright and lucid for 90 minutes and she exceeded expectations. Mission accomplished.
