"If you are someone who recites indigenous land acknowledgements, but you don't simultaneously advocate for handing the entire country back over to indigenous people, you are a hypocrite."Yep. And, if you don't advocate for handing the entire country back over to indigenous people, then your "indigenous land acknowledgement" is more an exercise in humiliating the indigenous peoples, by reciting their historical defeats, and "subjugation".
The truth is, Indigenous peoples who want to control their lands are racists. They want the control of their land to be exercised only by their people.
They don't want to live with other peoples, or share control of their land with other peoples.
They are blood and soil Ethnic Nationalists.
Fuck them.
Where does this leave the issue of Jews having their own land that must always have a majority population that is Jewish? I fully support this. Where does this leave me?

To me, it's pretty clear, given history, that Jews are murdered wherever they live. So I support Israel so they can have a place they are not murdered.
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, I believe the Bible so I support Israel for that reason.
I do not support Indigenous people's rights in nations like the USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, where all types of people live together.
If all types of peoples can live together, and are expected to live together, then why can't Indigenous peoples live together with others?
Can you answer that question?
