Everyone has missed the bigger picture takeaway on the story of Iran taking out Saudi's oil production.
OPEC IS DEAD!
The Question, now, is, which will have longer term effect; Reagan's having brought about the end of the Soviet Union, or Trump's having overseen the end of OPEC through Fracking and loosening of restrictions on drilling.
The end of OPEC may wind up being more momentous long-term, in that it will actually stem the tide of funds for Islamist states who promote terrorism and Sharia Law. The ending of the Soviet Union did little to stem the tide of Communism. Look at the Democratic Party candidates for the President.
