We should care about this because England is a stable monarchy which has anchored the people well in their traditions. But for "progressives" the word tradition gets in the way of their cultural re-engineering plans.
The Duchess is trying to assail a viable and healthy institution. I have followed this story because I can only imagine how I would feel, were I a citizen of the U.K.
